Ok guys,first of all hello to everyone,im new here and sorry in advance for my english since it is not my main language,and for my ignorance about Sub's,Boxes ,and similar I am getting myself a 15" MB Quart Reference series RWE 352 subwoofer : (Source:Google ) It's 700w rms,1400 max,15",and im getting it very cheap from a friend,its almost brand new ^^ Problem is,i asked couple of guys,and saw on net that its recomended for this Sub to go in Sealed box 50 liters~....I already have a 300w RMS 10" Radical Audio subwoofer in a 26l sealed box,and ...weeell im not satisfied,i mean,its clean,fast precise bass,but just aint louuuuuud :/ So im kinda concerned how will it b…

I think I'd like to tune it to 30 hz. I want to make a double kerfed slotted box with all 45 degree angles inside. whats the displacement of a 12'' DC lvl 4? what should the diameter of the port be? This is going to be the first box I've ever built any tips will be greatly appreciated!

Hey everybody, Currently Ive got a Image Dynamics ID12v.3 in a 1cuft sealed enclosure powered by and Alpine M500 in my Subaru Impreza. I find myself wanting just bit more impact. Im curious about an IXL 10 in a sealed enclosure... What do you guys think? Could it do it? What kind of power would be needed? 1000watts? Will more power but less cone and less XMAX be able to do it? Anyway just looking for experience and opinions on this. Thanks!

i need a subwoofer or two that will fit in a 2cu.ft. sealed box with 6 1/2" of mounting depth and i would prefer two 12's but i am open to all suggestions. i like it to be more spl , i no it is a ported box but i would like SPL over SQ so i need help plz

In the 2.0 cubic foot recommended box, how much power can they stand for burping? At what point does the added power stop increasing SPL? I am wondering the difference in 600 wat per driver to maybe 2000 per drive on a burp . Which may be somewhat "extreme".

I'll be running a pair of 12W6v2 in a sealed enclosure. I'm getting Alpine PDX amps for the system because they're great amps, I can get a great deal on them, and most importantly, they're SMALL. I'm not sure whether to run a single PDX 1.1000 to the subs, or run a pair of those amps, one to each sub. So the question is, should I just be running them at 500w each or 1000w each? It's a SQ system, but I guess LSQ is more accurate. The rest of the system (6", 3", 1" in the front, no rear stage) will be run by a pair of 4.150s.

Does anybody know if the 302's crossover can stand up to being mounted in the door? They will not be exposed to water or whatnot, but will they survive the opening and closing of the door on a daily basis? Just kinda had a thought about how to install them.

Maybe somebody on here could help me with this question I have, I have two Brahma MkII 12's and they sound good I have a JBL BP1200.1 per sub, at 3.2 ohms in a 1.7cf boxes for sub. I want louder so I want to know should I go with a bigger box and leave them at a 3.2 ohm load or should I bridge the amp and leave the same box or bridge and go bigger box also. the amp is rated at 1200x1 at 2 ohms and 600x1 at 4 ohms, So I figured that at 3.2 oms I am running close to the 600 watts most of the time. Hey guys! got a bit of a scenario I'm hoping you can help me with. In about august every year we have a local competition that we compete in and every year we've won our class. Typically every year i buy a new sub and try to beat our old score and so on and so on. Last year I used an 18" BL with D1 coils. I ran it off my JBL BP amp and things weren't to bad. Recently though i've acquired a Sundown and am very happy to be using it to its full potential. Problem #1, the BP puts out max power @ 2 ohms and the sundown puts it out @ 1 ohms and my BL is either a .5 ohm or 2 ohm subwoofer. (its not universal) This got me thinking though and this is where I am hoping to get some…

I just put my system in my car from the old one and I've had a bit of problems. Its a small system and only 1 10"sub and 1 amp powering the sub. The amp has power i've tried wiring the sub for r +, l - and r -, l + on the amp The sub setting on the deck is on and set to max The sub doesn't get a signal, doesn't hit at all Any ideas on what i can do next to figure out whats going on? ok I have finally decided what my substage will consist of and I am looking for suggestions on if it is good or not, the setup will consist of 2 10" or 12" Diamond D6 dual 4 subs and a sundown sae1000 amp, each D6 will be seein about 500rms each, tell me what you think

Recently this weekend me and my friend traded cars becasue mine gets better mileage. he has my old subs in them and this weekend the amp started going into protect mode. this happens on any note lows or highs. my friend says its happened to him before on only one song. but the amp does not get hot it is not clipping or distorted as im running them at maybe 800 to 1000 watts. when i go back to listen to them one sub sounds like it pops then the amp goes into protect. what could that sound be? the song i was playing this weekend was rack city a lot because of its good bass (in my opinion). could i have possibly have torn the spider or the tinsel leads? when i push on sub …

Monday turned out to be nice so I decided that I would tackle the task of removing the rear speakers.I cant believe the buzzing & rattling that was caused by all the bass being trapped in the trunk.Well I must say theres a big difference ,I feel alot more bass coming in and filling the cabin.Just incredible what 1-12 can do if installed correctly and given the right power.It took me 1 1/2 hrs to remove the deck speakers and if I wanted to put them back aleast the process would go alittle faster(I hate molding fasteners).Anyone with a '02-'04 Camry needing help with an installation,Holla,I'm ur boi!.....I think I need a massage :thud:

My friend is looking for a new set of 6.5" mids. He is restricted to 2 3/8" mounting depth. Any suggestions for mids or component sets with this restriction? Price is pretty much no object (within reason).

Im looking for all m5a subwoofer specs (sead/vented) on all there subs we arnt too sure what to go with yet but need to know volume (and yes im kinda noob at this) were would i find more info on bandpass's and these subs? thanks for any help

whats the difference between the lvl4 coil and a lvl 5 coil on a dc lvl 4 18? im going to be getting 2 lvl 4 18's and a sundown saz 3000d

Hey guys need some help for a box for a Level 4 12". Im going to have 2 Lvl412's ported, giving them about 1200w each. On the DC site they recommend 1.5 cubes for Ported, and 2 cubes for SPL ported. I guess my first question is, is this measurement net or gross? Also, im kinda looking for a daily/spl setup, so would it be alright to go with 1.75 cubes per sub? And another thing i wasn't sure of, whats the recommended port tuning? for SPL or daily? Has anyone had a preference with these subs and has another recommendation? Thanks, Steven

From my reasoning if you ran a dual 2ohm and dual 4 ohm subs in parallel of the same make and power handling it would give you a .75 load. Would there be something hindering me from dueing this as long as my amp can handle the load?

I am going to install the wire for my amp now so I can have a better idea of placement in the back of the expedition. I'm thinking about going with this kit just so it's simple. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-AK44 I'll be getting more wire to do the big 3, but there is some odd cabeling in there and I don't want to mess with that without some help from someone. Do you think that will be enough in feet to get from battery to back of truck, I'm going to measure tonight to know for sure but just to see if anyone else has done it. Also what fuse should I get. I'm also thinking of replacing the battery in the truck to something else... any suggest…
