Just wondering if ne1 went Sunday,about 50 cars were on hand.It was hot as *ell,got to see some decent cars but wasn't too impressed,had I had my ported box for the Mag I would've definitely got metered.The loudest vehicles were a pick-up(JL stuff) & some rust bucket on wheels ,dont know what he was rocking.Nonetheless we had a good time,got some free t-shirts & other misc. stuff.

Looking towards the Audioque SD2.5's.. 2 subs that will be a very loud daily driver/competition Street B quality off an ED 9.1 1350-1500watts @1ohm Any other suggestions? looking for $350 or less

basicly i want to build a box and i cant find any info on how to tune it. what i want to do is have round not square ports.

hello, thanks for any help in advance. i'm looking at ordering my first mach 5 subs ( ) and just wanted some recommendations as to which ones' i should get and bopx sizes. right now i have a crappy 15" kicker cvr in a ported box tuned to 35-36hz. and i want something to keep up with it in spl but also have better sq (which shouldn't be hard since kicker sucks, but it was damn near free). i have 650wrms to play with so i'm thinking about 2 maw 12's. how would they compare sealed or ported? if sealed works (kinda hoping it does, miss the lows my box now doesn't get) what would be good size, was thinking about 2.5cuft after displacements? or ported, but i'd want it tuned lo…

anyone know what 3 15" ID SPL's are worth? condition... function.. 2 work flawlessly, one needs reconed. when u flip it, u can hear something move internally..former, pole piece, something is dislodged. cosmetically... 1 of the working ones is in excellent shape 1 of the working ones is in decent shape, missing part of the cardboard outer gasket and there is a small tear (less then 1/2") in the surround. 1 that needs reconed is missing part of the outer carboard gasket all three stamped steel baskets, painted black. all three have double stacked magnets, the two that work have chrome topplates, the one that needs reconed has a black topplate. all are dual 2. lemme know..…

i have a the only thing in keeping from my old system is the alpine head unit. i ordered a audiopipe 1500.1 and a 100.4 and kicker ks 6.5s and 6x9s for the 100.4. i need input on the subs i was thinking 2 kicker l7 12s or 2 ia lethal injection 12s they will be in about 5 cubes before displacement. i want it to be as loud as possible dont care about sq thanks for the input in advance

I bought 3 10" Fi subs but never could find what model mines were and im just curious to know. All i know is that they are Fi subwoofers.

I have a 2g wired the output my car, don't want to get a new alternator for subs so everything is stock other than the wires and 200a monster fuse. Getting a soundqubed 1200.1 and need hell choosing either 1 sunfown 12 SA or soundqubed hds 2 in a custom box and maybe an extra battery. Need to know which ones better or what's best for $600 for subs, box, wires, batter. Which would shake up my car? I plan on powering them 1000w or I was going to get 2 but if one in the right box would do temporarily id want to save money since I'm only keeping the car for 4-5 months more. What do you think

Is a JL 500/1 be enough power to really pound my mag 15'' D2? Also is there any other amps with comparable features/sq as the 500/1 for a less price and maybe a few more watts? I really like the 500/1 and have got many positive reviews. Does anyone have a birthsheet on one of these puppies?

Hey guys im pretty new here and iv just got into car audio heavily in the past couple months. Iv been slowly working my way up and not i rest with a Memphis m3 15" and a pr500 amp. Question is what do you guys recommend for some serious bass. Iv been looking into a Fi BL and sundown saz1200 is that a good choice or do you think there is something in the 6-800 range for amp and sub. Im totally open to anything but id like to keep it a single 15 seeing as the box i just built is for one.

I've acquired an RE xxx v3 with the xbl^2 technology I think its a 2005 version. I have just ordered a recone from Fi along with a 15" 12 spoke basket to get some work done in the trunk. I was thinking of putting this 15" driver into a 3.23 cu ft sealed enclosure. but I'm open to ported, displacement on this thing is like .23 cu ft. I am running a mmats d300hc (no subsonic, eq, boost, exc.) and it pushed an Fi Q to the max. in my previous setup. I do not doubt its power and capabilities of the amps control for this set up. I know you guys are thinking about how my radio has anything to do with SI...well, not having a radio for 4.5 weeks tends to drive an audiophile crazy. I used my Ipod with my Shure E4c ($299 retail) earbuds, but I was still missing it big time. Today I got my HU back and had it installed...well...the installer halfway did it and I had to finish it. His explanation...LOL..."I have never seen a radio with this many wires" (talking about my Eclipse 8053). I had written down all my setting before I had my deck servised. former owner of 2 10 jl audio w3v2 subs under the back seat of my f150 super cab. Overall I was not too happy with the output of these subs. I need another pair to throw under my back seat and I was considering the rl-i10 or 8. Wasnt sure on yalls thoughts on this/ have yall heard this set up before? My goals are for more spl then the jls and im alright sacrificing some sq for it. current amp is a memphis st-1000d 1 ohm stable at 1000 watts, however I can get a new amp so thats not really an issue, even though these subs match up great with that amp! any other recomendations are greatly needed, ive been without bass for about 10 months now.

after doing some research on the internet, i end up with these three choices for my component speakers. i want a component with good sq that could hit hard. and please disregard the price comparison of the speakers. i want to know which would perform best.. TIA

I'm having trouble finding info on this particular sub. I have searched a bunch of forums and tried Googling, also. I'm not real sure weather it is a tc9 or tc7 based sub; and knowing the many variants of those models left me skeptical of considering an appropriate sized enclosure based on another sub. I originally figured this is a TC9 variant, so I've been planning a ballpark figure of 1.5-2 cubes net ported to 28-30hz, using a 4-5" pvc port . I'm looking for a flat response, with as much extension as I could get. I'm mounting mli-65's up front as dedicated midbass drivers; and plan on them mating up with the sub in the 60hz area. I have 2 memphis PR 15's right now in a ported box tuned to about 34 and im looking for a new amp that will push these... their rated 250rms each but the guy said their underrated.. Will Hifionics amp do the trick?

my amps turned on when i turn it on my sub turns on cuz it makes a thump .. Then when i play music it bearly moves.. it doesnt smell burned.. what is the problem? Jordan
