I want to purchase two 12's. I want them to have deep, loud bass. Given the right amount of power and a good enclosure which would sound better? 2 Fi SSD with a Flatwind coil, or 2 Gcon 12s

I'm planning on installing two 15 inch Fi Qs in a sealed enclosure and I am looking for a good set of components for my front stage that will be able to "keep up" with the sub stage. Thanks in advance.

So there's way too many new products coming out and I don't know what I want to try. I want a good clean sounding system, but I'm a bit of a bass head and do like to crank the bass. I have a Q12 sealed in my other car and like the sound and how low it goes, but I want to look at other things. I drive a Magnum and could get two 15's or something big no problem, but other than lots of bass my goal is to stay low profile so I still have cargo room AND i'd like to keep the spare. So I'm thinking either in floor low profile or something that only comes slightly out of the floor. Need to build a new box for my suv. Im running two RF t212d4 on two rf t1500bdcp. I want to go subs up port back now that im not in a trunk car. Does anyone have experience with what box size/tuning/port area these subs excel in? Right now they are in 2 cube box tuned to 35 and do ok, but im sure they have way more in them. well i will be building these as soon as i find some coils that will do the job. after some consulting i have been informed the coils i was going to use won't be optimum with these motors. but here are some pics of what i have as of now.

Hello all. New sub is being built as we speak (went full carbon fiber cone and dustcap also). Dc suggests 5.5 cubes but im wondering if anyone else has had some experience with these things to give me the right direction to head. The current box is about 7.5 cubes net so a new box is in order. Will also be going up in power soon. Sub will be on a synergy 35.1 at .5 until i can get a bigger amp. It will be daily but also the occasional competition.

So here is the deal. I am on my way to the goal of $900 for the zcon's. Got $650 now. Yay. Question is what ohms should I get? 2 or 1? I have had my cut out cones sitting outside since last year, out in the rain snow and sun, and the only thing that has happened to them is the cones on a few have turned white. The paper cones are still solid, foam surrounds are all good, glue holding them turned white but not loose one bit. The coils havent rusted, the coil glue hasnt let loose... they are just the same as when I cut them off other than bleeched. I have been impressed every time I look at them, so the other day I was having fun and displayed them on my porch. i just had my xcon 18 installed being pushed by a aq 2200d in a 5 cubic box and its loud. well im looking to buy 2 12inch 2011 icons in a ported box what will be the sound diffrence such as hitting lows an what not thanks for any help

If you would to throw in another amp suggestion feel free just those 125.2's are only $157 on db-r and i'm probably going to order one

I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate RFS-12"s 8 ohm. They're damn near brand new just surround glue is shot. Does anyone repair this? Also curious if anyone can beef it up? Seen a few custom made subs on them internets and was wondering if anyone specializes in this? Thanks. -Robby

Going to build a small sealed box with a 12" sub powered with my Sundown SAE1200. More for sound quality than spl. Been looking at these two. SSA DCON 12 and Sundown SA-12. Will the DCON hold up when driven with 600w ? I think it's rated for 300. Anyone have experiance with either of these? It looks like the Icon 12 would be a better match for this amp, but it is priced a bit higher. Let me know your opinion.

Im looking for all m5a subwoofer specs (sead/vented) on all there subs we arnt too sure what to go with yet but need to know volume (and yes im kinda noob at this) were would i find more info on bandpass's and these subs? thanks for any help

Im debating whether to send a kicker 1500zx back and get a Rockford Fostgate T20001 but would that overpower a BL FL at 2 ohms because from what I hear the Rockford Fostgate is way underrated on the cover, but in the box it shows 800w+ then the cover Would it be worth the trouble to send a kicker 1500zx back and spend $100 on this Rockford? hi, i am thinking of using kick pods for my componots since they are too deep for my stock location ( they are re audio xxx comonopots) and i am wondering i was thinking of putt ing in some midbass drivers in the stock location in the door. know will that affect anything since there will only belike 4 inches seperating the componots and the midbass drivers.

Hello everyone, I'm curious about 12s that could work great in a mid sized ported box 1.5 cubes - 1.75 cubes each powered by a Sundown SAZ1500D. So far what caught my eyes is a pair of DC Level 3 12s or a pair of Sundown SA 12s.

I'm starting to plan out my next setup and am a little stuck on what to choose. To start off, which ever I choose will be walled at the B-pillars of my 03 Ford Expedition XLT. I will most likely tune to between 30Hz and 32Hz. I have 2 SAZ-3000's at the moment, but will pick some more up down the road. So I'm looking for your opinions on which subs to go with. 4 Incriminator DP 21"s 4 DC LVL 5 18"s 4 Fi BTL 18"s I am looking to get really loud and pound out the lows. I'm not too worried about sq as I don't drive too much, just be half way musical, NOT something strictly for burps. I know it's all good equipment, just looking for some opinions. Thanks

I am dying to buy these lil' monsters , i have a large trunk (chrysler 300) and am wanting an optimal vented box for these bad boys, can a pro or guru chime in and offer any suggestions or tuning freq. suggestions,an box size, i plan on running probably a sundown 1000D amp @ 1 ohm mono so the 2 8's will split 1k rms, im looking for a box to really make these subs sing yet still play music, not just pure spl, thanks in advance
