anyone using a Mag 12 in a HT setup? What power and size enclosure? Good results?

Im looking for two 10" Incriminator Audio 187's. If anyone has any leads to them please let me know. As we all know the Lethal Injection series took them over so they are not made anymore. Thanks

Hi, im having trouble deciding what to tune my box to. the box is going to be about 3.1 cubic feet after the displacement of the subs, i was wondering how many 4 inch aero ports i would need, and what to tune the box to. if i can get some peoples input it would be greatly appreciated.

How does the RSD-216 woofer compare to others? Should I upgrade it or stick with it? I was happy with the sound it had when I had them installed in my accord. Money is an issue.

Hey guys need some help for a box for a Level 4 12". Im going to have 2 Lvl412's ported, giving them about 1200w each. On the DC site they recommend 1.5 cubes for Ported, and 2 cubes for SPL ported. I guess my first question is, is this measurement net or gross? Also, im kinda looking for a daily/spl setup, so would it be alright to go with 1.75 cubes per sub? And another thing i wasn't sure of, whats the recommended port tuning? for SPL or daily? Has anyone had a preference with these subs and has another recommendation? Thanks, Steven

Well here's the story, I purchased this sub off my cousin who said that it was originally a RE 18 that he blew then he sent it to FI to be rebuilt with soft parts(not sure what this is). I then purchased a SAE 1200d to power it. Once I got everything installed I had no sound out of the sub, so I started troubleshooting the best of my abilities. I still couldn't get it workin so I took it to a audio shop who said he tested the system and it was the sub that was bad, he was unable to tell me why. I got curious and wanted too check out the ohm reading on my sub, so i just disconnected the speaker cable from my amp, then put the probes of my dmm on the the positive and negative cables. The dmm says its wired to 1.8-2.0 ohms. Is this normal? or by some mistake do i have a d4 ohm sub? I have a SS RL-p 18 d2, wired in parallel to my sundown saz1000d. thanks!

My friend has an older Mag and I have a newer one. I wsa thinking of getting the older one and running it with the new one. Will this cause a problem, especially if they're in a common chamber box? Also how much power will it need...how does a Concept CC-D1200 sound?

I'm looking to upgrade to a better system i want SPL while not sacrificing sound quality. Which one of these would be louder in 1.75 cubes each tuned to 33hz powered by a RF power series 500 watt amp?

Im getting 2 12 BL subs and the saz 1500d sundown. Now i may just be getting just one sub for now cause of some money issues but wil end up getting another 12, can i hook up just one sub for now to the saz 1500d amp or no? I do not know shit about this stuff. thanks

well I got a new job doing 12V at a local shop, Nick you know it, Freemans at the lake, so I am going to use that to get my install finished. I had a pretty cool idea for a trunk. Here's a side view of what I was thinking. It was done using Paint so its kinda crap, but this is a general side cutout of the design. The woofer will be mounted inverted towards the rear of the trunk and angled slightly (40 degrees or less) and the two MOnitor MK I 2.70 will be mounted towards the front of the enclosure flush with it. I installed 2 MB QUART 6" speakers 6 months ago in my front doors. I rescently heard a cracking noise coming from one of the front speakers in my integra (Left Door). When I removed the door panel the speaker stopped playing but if I apply a little pressure to the cone with my finger it starts plaing once more. Is it possible that the coils are faulty or is it something else.

I will be using one of these subs as a temporary sub setup till I get my electrical right, money right and subwoofer choices down to run my Sundown SAZ-2000D @ 1ohm. I have a 2003 Saturn Ion, stock alternator and stock battery so far and just took out my 3-12" Kicker CVX's in 5.9ft^3 @ 25.94Hz. As you can tell I love the lows (my priority in any system I have), I listen to: a lot of chopped and screwed music plus r&b, rap and old school. been digging in on the system some and have discovered the original plans of the sls 8" isnt going to work just due to the sheer diameter. Need some recomendations on a badass 7" midbass driver to be mounted IB in the front doors with a max depth of 4". These will be running active with Seas W12CY-001 4.5's and Seas 27TFFNC/G tweets mounted in kick pods. looking in the area of 200-250 per driver to be the high end. Front stage is to be powered off 2 Sundown 100.4's to allow for flexibility of more power to the 7's by bridging the one running them for more output if needed. Thanks in Advance

I'm in the process of working out a system for my TJ Jeep. I'd appreciate some advice on different ported-enclosure arrangements to suit it. Leaning towards down firing, but i am concerened about wind interference from port positioning, as if is a soft-top. Also, it will be to suit two Fi BTL 18's or 15's, undecided... Thanks!

Hey guys first time post, but def. not new to the car audio thing. This is the first time I have used FI products and I was wondering if it is normal to smell just a little coil when the sub in new (mine has only like 1 week of use on it). Im pushing it with a Elemental Designs Nine.1 its underrated at 1200wrms @ 12.5 vdc no clipped signal I checked with the o scope at college im gettin a good clean 7.3 volts from the preouts. I want to push about 1500wrms to it but im gun shy with the coil thing...can she take more or should I just get one more to feed my 30htz @ 140db addiction??

Alright, so somebody in my class is looking for a subwoofer for his 1500 reg. cab. He will most likely need a shallow mount subwoofer im thinking, but i havent been able to find a build log of a regular cab so i can get some ideas for where the box is placed ect. Im not really knowledgeable on shallow mount subwoofers so id think id ask you guys. He was looking for about a 12" or 15" sub. If you need more information just ask.
