Subwoofers / Speakers

Well someone wants to trade me a set of these speakers for some deadener. only problem i dont know much about rainbow. i was wondering if someone could fill me in on this particular model. i am searching google as we speek as well but if you have heard them and/or know what they are worth and any opinions would be great help thanks.

would the Zed Minilith be a good match for the new Mag? I know the Mag is rated at 900RMS and the Minilith is rated at 600RMS. I know the Mag can take less and the Minilith does more but would this be a good match for SQ and the occassional SPL comp?

anyone using a Mag 12 in a HT setup? What power and size enclosure? Good results?

Sorry this took so long It's done now 1 12" IDMax in 3.2 tuned to ~24hz Thanks to Beerman for the calc it worked great Braced, milkshaken terminal cups, flush mount, double mouting baffle, rounded edges on everything, small amount of stuffing, NOTE THIS IS MY SECOND REAL BOX so don't be too harsh. Well I get back to the house and see a package at the door and I think "sweet! The second Mag came in today!" Well I get up to the door and notice that it is not our specific box (we have all drivers packaged and shipped a certain way in certain boxes). The box is oblonged shaped with scratches, dent, and scuffs all over it. I take it in the house and this is what I see (pics below). Fedex apparently played football in a concrete parking lot with the drivers motor and then threw it in a random box with no packaging. Yep, the first ever production driver came in today. A second driver should come shortly...which the pair of them are being rush-shipped to a competitor that is going to be putting up some serious numbers with them. The rest of the drivers are going to be glorious, as the one driver I have here is absolutely beautiful. If you guys want pics of it, just let me know.

This is for SQ/LSQ install in a 2005 Mazda 3. Sub would compliment Alpine Type-X comps in the front getting 100 watts/side. This is directed more towards people with experience with both woofers. Looking at RL-P 12 or 15 or Brahma of same sizes. I have a Tsunami 1100DB for substage. Previously owned eD e12a and wanted something new. Is the 12a based on the same motor as the RL-P? Any comments/info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey at other forums i have been told to get a Rl-p15 powered by a Hifonics Brutus amp. I was wondering how 2 Alpine Type R 12s would compare to one Rl-p15? Any help?

Need Amp recommendations for 12." i have to be energy conserved because i drive an S2000 and it doesnt produce Much power from the little engine. So can i get The best amp that i could use for this sub and car without draining the battery. Thanks

i currently have an RL-p15 that i consider my baby, powered by a JL e1800D amp. since i dont full on pound the RL-p i want to get a 12" sub that would handle all the beating of 1000 watts on a daily basis. im thinking of eclipse or alpine at the moment, but im open to any suggestions. oh yeah, and as much as possible id like to stay under $260

ok, well i'm looking into getting two new Mags possibly but know that the upgrade process will take a little time due to money. I have a concept CC-D1200 that at 1ohm does somewhere from 1200-1400RMS and at 2ohms does 900-1100RMS. So for one sub i know i'm fine but when i get the second one i'll have to be at 2ohms and didn't know if 450-550RMS is too little for them. i would hope that i will add a 2nd amp to them but I may be replacing the concept amp at the same time. Will i run into underpowering issues if run at 450RMS? It will be in a sealed 1.5cu ft per sub box.

hey im having trouble with the rear pair of six and a half memphis mclass coaxials. I keep on blowing the crossovers, and they get crackly on me. The question is what do you guys recomend. I want something for like 200 a pair, and really really loud and clear, and coaxial. Thanks, Steve

pretty easy question here but what to know what people think. Want SQ all the way but occassionally to make peoples jaws drop even more want to crank it. One Mag 12 ported(2.2cu ft) or two Mag 12 sealed(1.45cu ft)? Power would be for now 500RMS a piece and later it would be 1200RMS per sub. Just need time to save for another amp. And it would be the new Magnum.

What kind of watts does this thing need to be PERFECT, i mean reguarless of price i want a perfect sounding Mag D2. I have no idea on wattage, and im probaly going with a HIFONICS amp. So let me know how many wats and at what ohms im going to need if i orded 1 and if i even orded 2 15" mag d2??? THANKS!!!
