Hi all ive been looking Around here for a while and finally decided to ask a few questions. Heres my equipment so far nowi just need to decideon some subs for a 2003 single cab f150 Cd player pioneee avh x1600 Hertz 5.25 esk component system Precision power 850 watt amp at 1ohm for the subs. My question is what 2 10 inch subs sealed wouuld pair well with what i already have. I listen to all types of music so i want the subs to sound good. But still get loud ifi want to turn it up. Alright i've been looking on madisound and would like some opinions on these drivers. Seas CD18RE-MDS Seas ER18RNX Peerless nomex830875 Vifa M17SG09 These tweeters peerless HDS Seas 27TAFNC/G Seas 27TFFNC/G peerless DX25TG05 For 2-way active. I know the Seas ER18RNX and Peerless HDS tweeters make a good combo but would like to know what else would be a good combo.

I need a little advice. I recently sold a sub on Craigslist. Icon 12 D2. It has literally sat in my garage for over a year. When I tested the coils back in May of 2014 I got a solid 1.8 on each side. I haven't played the sub once since. The new owner tested the coils at 2.4. When wired at 1ohm he's getting 1.8. Can anyone help US understand what's going on? Is it something to worry about? Can a sub sitting do this to the coils?

I just picked up a 04 crossfire, and have setteled for two tens. I found a box that is .42 x 2, that will face the rear. I haven't went speaker shopping since the mid 90's. I'm used to two 12 inch hollywoods, in a small box for mustangs, with a bazooka 700w amp. almost enough to vibrate your eyes. With a budget in mind, what should I look into? brands, versions, amp???? any suggestions, thanks chris

I have two dvc 8 inch subs and one dvc 12 in a box that's ported with a zues mono block amp. Whats the best enclosure for the three? Can the 12 push the 8's out of phase? I need a suitable box design and wiring config for this setup

I am wiring my d2 subwoofers to 1 ohm. When looking at the diagram below the outputs from the amplifier go to different different coils. i know i posted this in another thread but i thought i should move it to the proper location. set up: Alpine 9835 HU (3 way: sub, mid, high xovers) orion xtr 800.4 for mids and highs eD 6000 version 1 6.5's and cadence 1" tweets and rainbow 5.25's with 3/4" tweets sub stage: RE 36.1 for a 05 XXX 18 tuned to 31 hz i have a fullsize ext cab truck. i have a descent set of rainbow components that i wanted to keep in the rear, but if im goin to go active for front stage using my 4 ch amp i wont be able to have the rainbows in the back anymore. my HU only has 3 pre outs, sub, mid and high. i dont supose there is anyway to keep the rear speakers unless i run them off the HU sp…

I've heard people changing sizes of the sub when they do a recone, so I guess my question is how? Don't you need the correct basket size or can you recone a 15 or 18" basket into a 12"?

my friend works for a alarm system company and they also handle surround sound systems and he wants to get some 10's for his truck and he can get these db drive speakers for cheap from the company order, anyone ever heard or delt with them before?
