hey guys i want to upgrade my sub and box i want full power coming outta my amp 2600 rms @ 1 ohm hifoniks amp bxi2608. What 18 inch sub can handle this with no problem as a daily driver? give me your ideas thanks a lot Billy

i have a 3500d and was wondering what would be better in all aspects and sheer output? would the BTL's fully loaded or nightshades be better in my situation. either choice will have box build big enough due to it going in an suv and tuned between 30-35hz might change what i tune it too, but it is for a daily set up. and if anyone wannts to throw in opinions about the xcon or ia death penalty feel free. electrical is 250h/o alt, with 3 batteries including the one under the hood. subs will be facing up with port back. port will be running along the bottom instead of right or left side.

OK here goes I built a box for one of my subs since one was damaged in shipping and i am waiting for a replacement, Memphis 12'' M3 dvc 4 ohm. It is ported and is 2.0 cubes after port and sub displacement. The port is 2.5 inches wide and 12.5 inches high and 27.75 inches long. can anyone tell my why this does not have hardly any output? I am running a Memphis PR 1.1000 amp it is seeing 2 ohms which according to the owners manual is 600 watts RMS@ 2 ohms. I have already checked the all of the electrical connections, The sub is wired fine no out of phase coil or anything. Now if i put my old subs back in they sound awesome, wtf did i do wrong?

i'm looking for a new amp for my 12" magnum about 1200 wrms @1 ohm and wanted to hear your guys suggestions. i have a stock electrical system so i want something that makes rated power at like 13 volts instead of 14.5 volts and doesn't strain my electrical system. the most i want to spend is like $350. an amp i have in mind is the elemental designs nine.1, but i'm leary with what i have been hearing about ED. i also have been considering the cadence z1200. i know it's asking a lot but please help me choose. thanks

hi i am just wondering what amp i should get for a fi q 12 fully loaded which im going to order very soon. my choice so far: planet audio BB1400.1 ALSO ANOTHER THING WHEN I ORDER MY FI Q12 SHOULD I ORDER IT DUAL 1 OR DUAL 2, which would work best with the classD monoblock amp ? Just got my fi ssd 12 dual 2 with copper coil & bp power. was planning on going with a sealed box an pushing it with an audioque 1200 at 1 0hm. is this a good amp? would it be too many watts for 1 12" going in my f150 super cab. listen to everything but mostly rock. ported box mabey? any suggestions

Hi Guys, I am currently running a Crunch GP12D4 running off a Hifonics Titan TXi 6006 (budget setup in a small UK car) but I'm not sure what the ideal box would be? I'm going for an SQ setup but I do like my bass The manufacture reccomend 1cu ft in a sealed box & 1.25 cu ft in a ported box? What would you guys recommend? Also what would be the best way to wire up my sub to give the best sound? Sorry for all the noobie questions but there isnt as much online info in the UK Thank's all!

I am about to order a box for my dodge ram quad cab truck. There is a company that sells multiple different boxes for this. I was going to order a box for a single sub sealed. Becase it has 1.15 cubes I was going to order it for a single 12 inch sub. I liked this set up becasue it only takes up part of my underseat storage. They do also make some other enclosures for sealed setups. One is 2 seperate compartments sealed for 2 subs of either 8, 10 or 12 inch and have .6 cubes per sub compartment. I have a 2010 Dodge Nitro. Right now i am running two 12'' dvc 4 ohm L7s with a 2500.1 kicker amp- so 4ohm load. Now it only puts out 1250 @ 4 ohms and 2500@ 2, but it slams them pretty hard- they are 750 rms. Now i do mostly listen to rap music or techno so i like the thump thump thump thump. I am very curious about the BTLs and was wondering if they are capable of slamming harder than the L7s. I was thinking about going with one 12" considering my amp is 2500 @ 2.
