I apologize in advance - you are dealing with a noob. I think I want to do a sealed 15" in my new car, but I am having trouble deciding which way to go. I have been looking at the Fi Q and the SI Mag. Is the SI really worth the extra 200? Would you recommend anything else? Perhaps maybe even a 12" to go ported with? I am not looking to make major alterations to my electrical just yet either (read HO alt), so I'd like to keep the power handling in the 1000W range. I'm looking for a true LSQ system - I want it to be clean, but get LOUD when I want it. Hi all, I have a 2007 Hyundai Elantra GLS and am looking for some components to compliment finish up my system. I currently have a 1 FI Q 15 (3.5 cubes, tuned @ 33Hz) Sundown SAE-1000D Alpine CDA-9885 Can anyone make any recomendations?

just got my 04 reconed re xxx and i noticed when ups dropped it off the box wasnt in great condition so i looked inside and the sub is fine except for a couple spots on the surround where it looks like it was chafing on the cardboard box, i can take a picture if you guys want but it is very unnoticeable and prob hard to see in a pic, it isnt gouged at all just some surface rub just wanna kno if this will become a problem

i recently bought 2 fi ssd 10's 1ohm DVC. can i wire these to 1 ohm?? ive done some research and have seen places say yes and some say no. i decided to come to the guys who have the knowledge! Thanks Matt Cusack

Ok I know soundstream use to make some alright products years ago, but what about now? Are they any good. I'm looking for components. I seen a pair of Soundstream PCC.6 N for pretty cheap. i have a 12 inch hifonics goliath 1600 watt sub... dual VC the basket is cracked. does any one know of a 18 or 15 inch basket with soft parts for this motor?

I got a American bass hd2500 I was thinking of picking up a gcon and running it at 2 ohms I've got a custom built box here at 2.3 cu ft air space and tuned to 33hz will it be enough box or would it be better to get the icon.

This might be a dumb question but i have been doing some research and cant find and exact awnser. My question is what (design & structure wise) makes a door speaker sound better than another one if the givin situations were all exactly the same. As in, for example, an Alpine Type S vs RE Audio XXX series.

Hi all, thinking adout useing two T3 Audio Ts 12s412 for spl, before I buy them I need some feedback. Thinks for any help.

Today I put in some pioneer a series 6.5" in the back of my car. Tomorrow i'm planning on ordering the 4" models for the front. I'm running them of the 18w head unit. I have a sub already and was wondering if it would be worth it to buy something like 150hz bass blockers for the front speakers. I didn't know much about car audio when I went and bought my head unit and it doesn't have a high pass filter.

Hey guys. Can I wire two D1's (Fi SSD's) to a final ohm load of 1? If not what are my options w/ the D1's? I know I can get a .5 (bad) or 2 (ok) w/ two D2's... Thanks

basicly i want to build a box and i cant find any info on how to tune it. what i want to do is have round not square ports.

I am putting in an infinite baffle sub and trying to decide on the drivers. Which one of these drivers would be best for this application? Also, I am trying to get a handel on how much is enough. I made a pair of Housewreakers by Decware several years ago and put in 2 pro drivers by Emmince in each cabinate. I doubt whether the SD on all 4 drivers was even 2. The RL-P15 has a SD of over 4. Does this mean that one of these drivers is going to put out 2x the low bass as my 2 housewreakers? Thanks, Jim
