Anybody know if i could find any kind of SI decals to paste all over my car? I'd like the people in the car next to me to know whats shakin em.

Well its official. For X-mas I am asking mommy and daddy to buy me another Hifonics 1500 amp and SI D2 15. I already have 1 of each right now but want to upgrade. I plan on giving each sub 4 cu/ft and port each to say 34 hertz? (Wanna score high in comps as well as keep it clean for a daily driver) The whole trunk is going to be a box, the subs will fire towards the rear with the 3 amps (2 sub amps and hifonics 2 chan) mounted ontop the box in a "suspended" setup. (Pole holding up a slab of plexi glass and the amps mounted on the glass). The whole box will be covered in gray viynl to match the gray carpet Across the front by the amps I will have a peice of plexi glass and…

Hey since you guys are planning on them new kickass amps. which would u mind droppin some minor specs?? wink wink. i waswondering since the xs lineup simply got a new chrome basket if their would be a new line up coming out or nething new. I'm happy with my pbx 15 xs's. i hit a 146 tuned at 30 hz with no dynamat in an explorer. gotta love it. i'm interested in that 3000.1 that i heard about. how badass these new amps gonna be? leak some info.. get the rumor mill crankin

Hello guys, first thread on here Was just wondering, how do you think a D2 will take 2500wrms, on a daily BASSis, i.e streetbass, daily listening, i can't see it being a problem just playing music nicely, but what about when i crank it ? The whole system will be scoped, so it will be getting a purely clean signal, will be ported, about 4cuft, then port displacement, so say even 3 cuft ? I have seen this thing take 1700wrm quite nicely, but what about over quite a period of time ? i mean i know how to treat a sub, i know how they work and how to set a system up. So what you recon ? Go for it ? Also, can they be reconed ? or will i have to buy a new one ? Thanks in advance…

Thats right, my 15" SID2 does not have a logo, but fear not I bought it legit from Nick. I really wish it had a logo on it tho and all the stickers I get done from the local sticker shop sucks real bad. Is there any way I can ship the sub back to SI and get a logo put on the basket?

For those of you that have owned both pair OR heard both pair in a similar environment please comment on which you prefer and why? I am in the market for a nice set for components, and I am being torn between several sets. A new set just came up... Seas. I had never heard of them before, and someone told me they are the best sounding speaker for the money. So i'm in college now and i'm meeting new people that like car audio stuff. But they have Legacy and pyramid and things of that such, but their system is loud. I am going to have to attribute it to the car being small. One is a camry with 2 sony explodes and a powerbass basstube(from wallmart) hooked up to a kenwood amp. It beats pretty decent for the money he wpent on it, but i'm gonna say its a small car. Next is a chevy nova, again not as small as a camry, but not big either, so he has 2 mtx's whatever kind and a legacy amp. So he has better subs, but a crappy amp and i can barely sit in the back seat and it sounds like the trunk is about to come off. It makes no sinc…

Hey guys its Max here I just thought I'd post and let you see for yourselves what the Magnum can really do when it comes to excursion, even though, strictly speaking, excursion isnt really that important, especially if you consider how important other parameters are. Since I can attatch movies here and I seem to have quite a few. Anyone want to see more? I will post some as long as the mod's deem it ok. I just don't want to suck up a ton of bandwidth. Most movies are in the 3-5 meg range.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that there is a bunch of people out there that are now using Memphis subs? And it is the MOJO subs too, not the LVS sub. I mean we all knew the LVS was a gimmick more than anything, but still I know of 2 people who are sponsored by Memphis and even they are using the Mojo subs (and Mojo amps also for that matter)

Ive heard somewhere (i cant remember where) that you cannot physically blow a mag..... Is that true? even with 3kw and the volume all the way up? just something i wondered when seeing the post that someone put that much power to one.....

I'm interested in getting a vey high resolution "Magnum" logo. I figured since they can no longer be called "Magnums" that perhaps a high resolution image might now be available without any conflict. Hi everyone. I currently have two 12 mags in a sealed box, but I wanted to try ported just for fun. My friend is selling a 3.6 cf box tuned to 30 hz without any chambers for cheap. IS this bad for a pair of magnums, or does it sound reasonable? I know that the only way to find out is to actually hook it up and listen to it, but I just want some opinions before I actually buy the box. It was originally made for a pair of JL audio subs by Tweeter. Thanks guys.

i'm looking for a new amp for my 12" magnum about 1200 wrms @1 ohm and wanted to hear your guys suggestions. i have a stock electrical system so i want something that makes rated power at like 13 volts instead of 14.5 volts and doesn't strain my electrical system. the most i want to spend is like $350. an amp i have in mind is the elemental designs nine.1, but i'm leary with what i have been hearing about ED. i also have been considering the cadence z1200. i know it's asking a lot but please help me choose. thanks

i hear this thing has great sq... but i'm cuious of its spl also. i'm deciding on new subs now... i'm looking at the magnums, sx or se. i'm trying to save a little money. also... they aren't going for competiton or anything. i'm hoping to spend less than 900 on subs and amps... hoping. but sq is important to me... i'm stepping up from 2 12w3 i want to keep the sq.. but add alot more loud sticking with 12 inch... i'm hopefully getting a 97-99 gsx in spring... and i don't believe the trunk will be big enough for a 15... i'd like to go 2 12s just because i like the look of 2 i'm hearing that one xxx or brahma would be just as good as 2 se. any input... i'm open to suggesti…

which out of these are better for SPL purposes, but i also want them to be able to be used daily. -orion H2(i know that can be used daily and is great for spl) -SI magnum D2 -Treo SSX i want like 8000 w rms, and i want to be able to use it daily.
