under my username, member rank, post count, etc is this warn % with orange blocks. what is this??

I feel bad for only giving it 600 watts right now until I find my new amp. Hunting a PPI a1200 or PC2350 badly for it. But damn does it still sound incredible with just 600.

can some one help me tune my viper 1200.1d. i have it with a 15" D2 in about 2.2 ft^3 sealed(home made). i don't have a head unit (just plain stock) so i have a Navone N-7v line output converter. i mostly listen to rock. This is my very first install. i don't have the box capetted yet. soon i hope thanks Travis

Looks like I will be competing with Treo this coming season. Just won an auctin for a CSX 15" built for SPL (no pole vent). It does have a blown coil but for $100 shipped I am not complaining. It is going back to Treo anyway to get enlarged to an 18" with quad coils. Hmmmm, quads. So it looks like Treo and Concept for me this season. I will post some pics of the 15" when I get it and of the 18" when it returns!

Are thre any more 15's? I finally saved up enough money for another and a hifonics 1500 but I was wondering if there are anymore available?

Well, finally finished. Excuse the crappy pics from my crappy camera. THe entire enclosure/rack will be pulled out in the winter to be painted body color with a little extra special touch as well. I'll start with the HU Simple ALpine CDA-7892. Cheap, sounds decent, and has all the processing this car needs for its owner. Next, Vifa PL 7" in the door and a Peerless tweet in the A-pillar. This guy is not worried about soundstage at all so these were pretty easy. Find a spot, slap em in and I'm done. Notice I wrapped the crappy stock grills with some cloth. Just kidding. That's from one of my favorite movies. My Magnum finally lives. Got it all hooked up today. Just in time to get delayed at an airport on my way to Florida. Anywho, now it's on to the next phase. My doors and my front stage. So far it sounds pretty good. I haven't tweeked anything and all I have inside the car is a couple of POS stock speakers. I can feel the bass and see my mirror move more than I can hear it. I guess that is good. Anyway, after all this time I can finally say thanks Nick. It was definitely worth the wait. Well....As I have upgraded my computer this summer...I have decided to donate my processor and motherboard in an effort to build Nick another computer to work with... i was wondering how big the port should be to tune your 4 cu ft recommended box for the D2 15 to 28hz and how long should the port be?

Ok, Here is an easy once. I am looking for a few good 10's that are dual 2 ohm that take will take some power (2500 watts piece) for burps. I had my heart set on the RE MT's since they were at a good price but after thinking about it I am not so sure I want 110 pounds in subs in my trunk. With the box that is roughly 150 pounds in my little Saturn trunk. Hmmm, there has to be something that can get me loud with a little less weight. Here is what I am looking at so far. finally ported the 12" magnum 2 cubes to 30hz. im loving it, it gets nasty loud and sounds even better i think than sealed. I have it running off the viper d1200.1. Okay, well, I'm almost complete with the fiberglass enclosure for the MAG 15, but it's about 80% glass. I am having a little trouble with panel resonance. Now, this was just the first listening session and it was without any poly in the box. I'm wondering if polyfil will cure this or is there some other means I should look to? The actual interior has been sealed with rubberized undercoating, but it is not a very thick layer and hasn't seemed to do much other than completely seal it up just in case there were any small holes (which I know there's not because I'm just that good). Any help?

i just got my hands on 2-12s, they were at the shop in the back just sitting there... so im going to grab one and build a few boxs (sealed and ported) and see what happens.... ill have a little review on it, plus of other POWERBASS subs....(most likely all there subs)... i should be finished all the test and post reviews but the end of october.... jamie

I am more of an SQ guy, but now I have my D2's I am curious. My set-up is all about SQ, I don't really have the amps to spit out SPL figures, but to those that have or know of, what sort of SPL are we talking about with a set of either 12's or 15's,, I mean has anybody burnt a set yet while spanking them.. and how hard were they been spanked.. I love mine too much to chance it but it would be nice to know what has been done so far.. TIA
