im curious how loud this sub would be in a ported box with 1 to about 1.4 cuft of airspace? any info would be great! thanks!

I'm going to be doing an install in a freind's 08 Suburban, and he wants a "false floor" built for the rear cargo area. The false floor will house the amplifier (Rockford 25 to life power 1000) and wiring. He wants either a single 12", dual 10", or dual/triple 8" subs, but he wants the false floor to be used as the sub box. He doesn't want to have to deal with a massive sub box in the cargo area. My question is, if the false floor is built 6-8" high, will it be "thick" enough for a proper sub enclosure. I have plenty of space to work with length/width-wise, but the depth is going to be the problem. I guess I'm trying to ask if a shallow box will work ok, as long as I have…

i need alot of help... I have a 2001 toyota avalon xl with the JBL upgrade with 2 type r's in the trunk connected to a kicker zx1000. My stock sub just blew and i want to get new speakers for the interior.. Does anyone know what size i have in the front and rear, and what is a good setup for both? Also any way to replace the factory amp too? if so what brands? I have no idea how much power (RMS) the stock speakers are already so if anyone knows that, then that will be a big help cuz i could try to see how powerful i would want to go... its alot of questions, im a noob wit this stuff to be honest...its my first car and first system thank you

I'm looking for one 18 i can give 2500w. I wanted one of the new BTL's but I messaged Fi and they told me they were in the process of moving and so production is a little slow right now. Any suggestions on something comparable? I currently have DC Lv.4 12's (love them) running off 2 Kicker SX1250.1's. And my price limit is about 600. Thanks.

Would anyone happen to know where I'd be able to get soft parts/recone kits for 3 Soundstream Exact10's? I've had these fantastic subs for a few year, blown, figuring one day I'll get to use them again. i have a 12 inch hifonics goliath 1600 watt sub... dual VC the basket is cracked. does any one know of a 18 or 15 inch basket with soft parts for this motor?

Ok I know soundstream use to make some alright products years ago, but what about now? Are they any good. I'm looking for components. I seen a pair of Soundstream PCC.6 N for pretty cheap. hey me and my friend just instaled a system for a friend and he gave us a infinity perfict 10 for doing the just but it is dual voice coil and one of the tensal leads are riped out of the sup how can we fix this do we have to take the dust cap off

I was reading the topic about running 1 vc on a dvc sub, started reading on a link provided in one of the posts by Impious and it got me to thinking. I have 2 SSA Icon d1 subs and want to keep a 1 ohm load, which would be the better option for best daily output off a Sundown 1200v2? Run each vc per sub in series then parallel pairing the subs or parrellel per vc and series pairing the subs? Both subs sharing airspace in a ported box. I hope i am explaining this correctly.

This is one of my Fi X 12's that I've recently burnt the leads on, and I'm in the process of repairing it. Its hard to see, but in the last pic i have the tensil leads unsoldered and the copper leads from the coil ready to be soldered to the new tensil leads. I paypaled the money for the leads and dustcap to Fi so now im waiting for them to come in!!

I have been looking at Fi for a long time now and have some money in line to get one. What my idea is to buy a 15" BTL fully loaded (Dual 2) for daily driving as my Accent is my only vehicle. I am currently running 2 Power Acoustic 15's from a single Ultra Linear 1600Watt amp. I am currently running stock electrical (not sure if upgrading will screw with my warranty.) Along with buying this i am looking at the Ultra Linear 2400@Watt amplifier. I am curious if that will be stable enough to run it. with out hurting it. in order to run that amp I would be running it bridged at 4ohms and getting the 2400RMS. (as long as i can upgraded my electrical without voiding my warrant…

Looking for some opinions as to how these are. How do they sound? How is the bass? It would either be these or the Morel Tempo 6s (both active). I like the XXXs because I've heard that the bass is good and I'm looking for a front stage with good bass as I won't have subs for a while. Thanks for any input

I was wondering if I purchased 1 Fi BTL 15" if it would hit harder the 2 Type Rs and what would also be a good amp to power the Fi BTL or would 2 Fi BL 12"s be better then the 1 15"

I read somewhere that they will be back up and running in late October? that would be sweet.
