Im wondering what sub i should use with a Kicker ZX750.1 . Im gonna be getting the amp with my next check (i hope) and im wondering what sub i should use with it. Im looking for a single sub setup and prefer using a 12". I have a RE SE atm but i was wondering if there is somthing that will do good off this power, 750 rms @ 2ohm. Ill be using ported and have a good amount of space for a box. My budget is around 200 for a sub. I want somthing thats gonna sounds loud to the ear, dont realy care about on the mic (dont think there are many comps around my area anyway). A few subs i was thinking of switching too were Audioque SD2.5 FI SSD no options Kicker L7 Im open to any id…

Looking for some opinions as to how these are. How do they sound? How is the bass? It would either be these or the Morel Tempo 6s (both active). I like the XXXs because I've heard that the bass is good and I'm looking for a front stage with good bass as I won't have subs for a while. Thanks for any input

I need to find a negative push terminal... The original wearer of said broken terminal was a diamond d1, I am not worried about it matching, unless Scott, or when I call heather at TC sounds will only sell them in sets. I snapped the terminal right off of the basket, but they are more of a bolt through design than actually being part of the basket.

  4. So I have read around a little and I have talked about it before, I need a mid-bass/woofer that can do 50hz-100hz/120hz just as loud and viscous as my 15" xcon can hit 30-50hz. I have run across the Aurasound NS10-513-4A 10" which seams like it may work, but I want more opinions. It can be of any wattage, it needs to be 10" or smaller I'd prefer a 8" but i'll do 10" if it is what it will take to hit those db's, and the enclosure whether it is ported or sealed needs to be less than 1 cu ft. I want great punch, I want to feel the drums in my chest, my old sub (kove armageddon) could hit these notes at around 135db and i miss the feeling of it.

Is there a way to check how DVC sub is wired without taking it out of the box by using a dmm? I would assume to just check the + and - coming out of the box (theres only 2 terminals in the back). And see what the ohms read. Am i correct or no.

Anyone know how tall the wall is in the bed? If I wanted to do a blow through with 6 15's (ICONs) is there enough height? I don't have a truck in front of me to measure, just wondering if you guys would know.

Well right now my mag is in a 4.0 cu ft box tuned to 28 hz. Its nice and clean and gets pretty loud but I want a lil more SPL out of it. I heard if I tuned up around 35 hz it would get a lot louder but my question is how much sq will I be losing? I really dont want to lose too much sq but want it a bit louder. What do you guys suggest?? And in what kind of enclosure did you get your best results?

Well I am currently laid off work so I told my wife I would add some bump to her ride. Seemed easy enough at the time. Then I started shopping around, and now I am losing my mind. I have looked at so many subs I think my brain is going to explode. I'm just wondering where to start. I would like to run 2 12's ported if possible, if not Ill drop down to 10's. Rough dimensions are 32Wx15Hx?. I can probably go wider, but just a starting point. I decided I will build a box for the first time so whatever I go with hopefully someone can help out with a good box design, or point me in the right direction. My wife will be happy with anything, she heard 2 12" cvx ported and …

Hey guys, I was wondering which one of these two subs would be better for me. It's either the 18" Xcon or the 18" Nightshade. Only $50 difference between the two right now. I'm going to get two. Probably get powered from a saz-3500d. If no deal on another amp comes around. Main goal is to do hair tricks and shake other vehicles at comps. Thanks.

  13. I'm thinking about either purchasing 2 12" SSA Gcons, or 1 15" Fi Bl fully loaded, I want deep loud bass, whichever I choose will be going in an s10 extended cab, which should I go with, either will be in a ported enclosure. Thanks.

For subs right now I plan on walling my suv to the front seats and am putting in 4 18" Xcons. I want my front stage to play as loud as possible without breaking my budget of 5-600 dollars. This is what I have scoped out right now and please let me know what you think. Crossover on the sub will most likely be around 50-60hZ. Hey guys, I have an '01 sonoma reg. cab. I'm looking for some opinions on what subs to run in it. I have roughly 1.67cf internal space to work with. I'm leaning toward a single 10 ported, but I'm open to suggestions. The sub(s) will be seeing around 1000-1200watts total. I'm more of a spl than sq guy so I'm thinking ported is the way to go. Also, I'm 6'-4" so leg room is nice to have. Anymore than one or two clicks and I'll be eating the dash. I've thought about a blow-thru, but I've had them before and really want to try and do this without cutting up my truck. Thanks in advance for your input. -Lee

Is there any easy way to get rid of small dips and valleys in the surface of a fiberglass box besides just gettin' at it with a sander? I just about have the whole thing covered with Bondo body filler and am working it over with my Mouse sander. I notice there are some small dips or valleys here and there (actually all over). If I try to get each individually, it will take a lot of time and I am concerned with the body filler hardening before I am done. Should I just mix each batch in very minute quantities? Is there an easier way that I am not noticing? Anyhow, back to the sander it is. 90 degrees outside and I am in a garage with no fan. Damn addiction.

So I have purchased Gcon from tirefyr while I am awaiting to get all my parts together for my other build. My question about my Gcon. It will be sealed at 1.5 cuft after displacement. I was planning to put the sub in the center of the 30 in wide enclosure. Would there be any benefit to offsetting the sub one way or the other? or am I just over thinking this.

About the Pioneer Premier REV series speakers? I had four coax 6x9"s on 75 rms each, and loved them. I am thinking about getting more. plus the 6 1/2" components to run active. They are cheap to at only $100ish Thoughts?
