i got my si d2 saturday and put it in a 1 cubic foot box sealed and it just absolutly pounded. i then put it in a 3.0 cubic foot box tuned to 28 and it is just sick down low!!!! i have it on a bx1500d with wired to 1 ohm, (but a 60 amp fuse at the front) and trust me all i need is 1 12. i play alot of screwed up music that has a bass boost down low and man i rattles the whole car plus the house. I LOVE IT i may go inside the box and take out my last port wall to raise the tuning to 32-35 for a little more spl (like it isn't there)

I'm looking for 8" drivers since the E8a's seem to be all gone What are the SI8's? any links? Thanks ahead of time Erik

I havent really been keeping up with the status of these drivers, so forgive my ignorance if its known already but i was wondering if you all still had some of these in stock. And if you are close to selling out. Reason being, as stated before, im going to get rid of my Magnum 12s and get a pair of the 15s. I just dont know how long it woud take me to sell my 12s. And i didnt want to end up selling my 12s, just to be too late for the 15 d2s. Also, would 900W Rms be efficient enough for a magnum 15? Im planning on keeping my Tsunami 1800, but i didnt know if the magnum 15 would be starved for more power. Plus in the future, i might sell my current amp and get two 1200W am…

Let me know what you think guys. I made these kicks about a month ago, which included about 5 layers of bondo due to pinholes after sanding :punch: but I think they turned out pretty good. Oh yeah, those are the 307's in the kicks.

between these three subs... which would u do? two of these infinity's? these two alpines? these two diamonds? remember, these are going into my wife's car, now going to be pushed by this hifonics amp lemme know....btw due to price (staying under $300 shipped, her budget, not mine) these are the only choices unless u know of a pair of 10's brand new, either svc 2 ohm or dvc 4 ohm that can handle 375 wrms a piece, and will ship the pair for under $300...then those are my only choices.. btw, i'm starting to go infinity(love the look), diamond, then the alpine later.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

In 11 years of the audio game, I have never let anyone near my box building for my own car,, then I got lazy and moved on. Then Baz V came to my attention and I decided to put my money where my mouth is and let him build me a box,, seriously good move,, several weeks later, one mighty Triple Chamber Reflex Box design later and with the help of Andrew J we have two sexy Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 12inch babes in a lush box that fits like a glove into my car. Man i must have gotten used to my Magnum 12s because they are not cutting it for me now. Maybe i just need to stop being lazy and go ahead and get my 180amp alternator installed. Dont get me wrong, the bass still hits amazingly hard, but im used to it. So i keep trying to turn the knob up more and more. Anywayz, i thought about selling my old claw style 12s and use that money plus some to go ahead and get two of the 15s. Only problem with that is, i have a 96 Honda accord. My trunk isnt big at all. And i love ported boxes. Right now my 12s are in a 2cu box tuned to 29hz. And thats basically my whole trunk. Im sure i can squeeze a tad bit more room, but not much at all. Ba…

Just put my 15D2 in, 3.8 cubes tuned to 30 hz. words simply cannot describe it. this sub is PERFECT. louder than my 4 ED 12K's, hits more accurately, just beats the cr*p out of you. I am simply amazed. Nick (and all others associated with this project), you have done an astounding job. I don't think I'll ever buy another sub again. Just threw it in facing backwards to test it out a bit and measure against my last setup. gonna go try it forwards now, like how I had planned to set it up.

Would this be too much? For daily driving type of stuff? Someone said the Memphis Belle will bridge to about 200 watts each for the front. I am considering buying one of these if this won't be too much for the 302's. Anyone got some suggestions?

I was just getting ready to design a new box for my D2 and noticed that Stereo Integrity and the D2 are no longer listed as of BassBox Pro version 6.0.18. They used to be, but I installed the latest patch bringing me up to version 6.0.18 Pro and I can't find it listed to save my life. Anyone else missing it as well? Strange that they would remove it. I don't want to have to enter all of the data manually

between these three subs..... 1) sid2 12" 2) re sx12" 3 re xxx12" the sub i chose will be pushed by a hifonics bx1500d @ 1 ohm(whooohooo 1500wrms!!) and put into a ported enclosure( recommmended by the manufactor, of course) in the trunk of my wife's grand prix. i am looking for loud and clean and a price in the $300-$350 range. since this is the wife's car, i want to try something different, ie..no JL, rf,treo,memphis,eclipse,clarion,diamond or anything i can get from local dealers. so..any other suggestions? i will be buying in the next week or so! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I purchased an Audiocontrol Epic 160 in Dec. of 2003 to test the original D2 12's in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was incredible being able to put in heart pounding bass into what normally wouldn't have any bass. Anyway I had big SPL plans for the Jeep until the ride was officially not mine anymore. Long story short I purchased a lot of great items to help increase your SPL and now I have changed my focus for my new car, '99 Infinity G20T, to LSQ. So I have an Epic 160 used for approx. 3 weeks and a brand new 0 Awg amp kit fully complete but opened because I wanted to feel the difference between my little 4 Awg to the Beasty 0. As the topic states; anyone heard both systems or have any opinions or educated guesses on these? No doubt th 327's are awesome, but I for one miss the specks, T/S params and such on them. Probably gonna go with the 327*s anyway though, pure SI all over Any advice on where to aim the mids in kickpanels, min. volume of the kicks and such?

hey there is an SPL shoot out at the drag strip in mooresville aug. 1st. its the imports gone wild show and im thinkin that 4 of the sid2 15s will have to rip the mic apart but im needing a box for them so anyone in the area willing to spare a little time to help build this monster in an exploder please let nick or i know. if i have money left from the box mat. and the other 2 subs i will supply some drinks . *UPDATE* i some how broke a line up peg on a dash panel last night from the 2 SI D2 15s

i've been running my magnums sealed for awhile now i feel it's time for a ported box. SI recommends 1.5 cubes per sub tuned to 32 hz. my question is doesn't anybody have there subs in this type of enclosure and how does it sound? or will it sound better in a different size/tuned box?

hey guys. been a long time since i've been around. ive got a 15" mag in my max (from the first batch) and i love the way it sounds but im starting to wonder if something is wrong. the mag sits in a 3.2 ft^3 box that donn designed and gave free plans to. its being powered by a memphis mc-1000d and is seeing 1100 watts (or so im thinking, i want to get the amp bench tested). it doesnt seem like im getting the volume that i should be getting in that a ive been rivaled by several JL 15's (W3 and W0). i havent been metered yet. so there are several thing that id like to do and hopefully improve what ive got. my trunk rattles like hell because it isnt deadened but this is in …

Well i got my D2 in today and it looks pretty beefy, and...plain lol. I installed it and it sounds really good, I love the sound and how clean it stays while hitting hard. my question is what kind of logo should I put on the sub? And is there a site I can go to that will make me a logo of some sort? Any ideas guys...
