i ordered a 15" magnum d2 but i didnt get a box yet. my friend says i could use his box. its a 15" and its ported but its only like 2 cubic feet. i do plan on gettin another box but how will the magnum sound in this box

my sub smells i cant tell if it is smoking cuz it is in my trunk...i have a dual 4 type r...i think i fried a voice coil...it plays good..well it sounds good..but when i turn it up it smells horrible...i have the directed 1500d running to it at 2 ohms with the gain set at half and the bass eq off and it still does it with out a problem in the matter of minutes

Which one would be the best at 600-700W at 2Ohms in an SUV. Which one would be the overall winner on comparing the lows, distortion, mechanical noise, efficiency, how musical it is, how clean it sounds. Basically for an SQ build I'm gonna look into very soon. So I haven't had a sub in almost 4 years, I've been running a factory stereo in my expedition (mach) for over a year and the factory 8 finally gave out. So now it's time to put a little something together. I have the expedition with 3rd row seating removed, so I have space for whatever I decide to do. Does anyone know anything about the Hifonic Olympus subwoofers? Are the good subs, what kinda amps should i run to em and are they good for competition?

my friend has a dual 4 ohm old school cerwin vega stroker that he has told me i can get for $100, the only problem is that i metered the voice coils and they are reading 3 ohms apiece. what do you guys think, does it still have some playing time left or should i not purchase it?

Anyone tried these sealed? I don't want to take up a significant portion of the back of my Tahoe since I have baby things. So has anyone tried these sealed per the specs? I've been trying to figure out some theoretical expectations from a few subs using Winisd. I want to use a sealed enclosure, but I can't figure anything out with the SSD (12 inch Dual 2 ohm) until I know the higher qts. Does anyone know what it is? Hopefully I'm not being dumb and just can't find it.

alright guys I have a dumb question. So I already have aftermarket speakers running off of an amp and my tweeters running off of the head unit. Just bought new mids all the way around...got the prv 6.5 4ohms and those ill just put right in after I get the old mids out. My question is about the tweeters. I also bought a rts-1 audiophile silk dome tweeter kit and need to know what to do. I'm going to take my old infinity tweeters out but don't know if I can use the existing wire going to my old tweeters. Please help!!

I friend of mine is doing a budget system and wants some good coaxle's. He just wants a pair of 6x9s for the rear and 5 1/4s for his front doors. I had a pair of 3 way MTX 6x9s back in the days and imo they gave me pretty good highs. Who else makes good quality coaxle's? He's going to power them off a Alpine CDA-9886.

I was comin home today and why Mag stopped hittin so I was like WTF. I went and took it out of my box and the Cone came detached from the Spider.
