Are the older polk momo components speakers (they have a little yellow arrow on them) any good, I can get a good deal on a pair and want to know what you guys think of them. Thanks

Anyone have any experience with is sub? I know that TC just start back up recently but was hoping to get some info on it. What size ported box would be optimum for this driver? Will it be able to handle an AQ2000 am or will that be over-kill? How does this driver compare to other drivers you have used. Is it more SQ or SPL geard? Is it durable in terms of extreme daily uses. How accurate is it? Am wanting to know anything about the sub that is out there right now. I tried accessing the site but got nothing. Thanks

I recently wanted to have a under the seat build for my truck, but now I've come up with the decision to go a little bit bigger with the enclosure. I don't want to take my seats completely out. my plan is to flip my seats up and build a box that's I can take out if I needed to use my rear seat. 15' s are out the question cause the enclosure will be to large to move around, so my options are multiple 10' s or 12' s. I have my saz-3500 but I plan on selling it and get a saz-4500 or two crescendo bc2000's I want to keep the price of the subs under $1000. I listen to 90% rap and I will not be competing. the source I have to work with is W-50 D-16 H-17.5

first up the btl recone old box 2 15's btl's the crappy single box i made out of the box above, lol on to the recone get that dustcap off first nice cover the hole and while i was at it got teh ca off the leads and pulled the old tensil out easier said than done.. resolder the new leads in and used some goop to cover them resolder back to the post and put the cap back on wt some gasket glue

now i've heard that tweeters are very tempermental. i've heard stories of them conestantly blowing due to WAY to much power.... now upon thinking you could just hook up a crossover and restrict the power? right? also with the current engineering of the 6.5's and 6x9's is it even worth it to put in 2 or even 4 tweeters? (two in the front pillars, two by backseat passangers head). also the V-MAX cerwin vega seem like a good deal for about 50$ you get the 2 tweets and a crossover or in that case is it better to go with a higher end tweet system (if one is needed at all) and spend the extra 40$ per pair? my current system (after getting some things) 2 alpine type S 6x9's in t…

Hey guys, seeking some good advice here. First let me say there is not much to choose from in my area except the usual mainstream brands in the nice wall displays. I have Infinity home floor speakers (cant recall model right now), and 2 Infinity 12" Entra Sub two's and I have been pretty pleased with them, so I went and bought some refrence 6.5 coaxial and a set of refrence 6.5 seperates for the Yukon doors. I bought them mainly because I like my Infinity home set up, and the fact they are both 2ohm so they wouldnt require any special wireing to get the most out of my amp. I'm looking for one 18 i can give 2500w. I wanted one of the new BTL's but I messaged Fi and they told me they were in the process of moving and so production is a little slow right now. Any suggestions on something comparable? I currently have DC Lv.4 12's (love them) running off 2 Kicker SX1250.1's. And my price limit is about 600. Thanks.

I was wondering if I purchased 1 Fi BTL 15" if it would hit harder the 2 Type Rs and what would also be a good amp to power the Fi BTL or would 2 Fi BL 12"s be better then the 1 15"

I purchased a pair back in '08 and used them for about 6 months or so and then took the box out of under my seat to make room for a hunting trip and never put it back. Going to sell them but can not remember nor find the specs on them. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I read somewhere that they will be back up and running in late October? that would be sweet. I sure hope they get back into it, such a great company/product/service etc. They are a no B.S. company I like to say, you get what they tell you you get, a damn fine product with unbelievable quality. I built a sub box as big as i could to hold two 18's in my acura cl.i run a 1200w hifonics brutus and it slams.But the speakers supostu have 6cft of air .the box only has 6.4 total inside air space. Is there any way to make the subs work easyer.By adding polyfill ,porting,or any other methed.i dont want to build a real intriqet box considering my trunk only holds about 13cft and my box should have 12cft.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all.Im wanting to replace my 2 type r 15's with 1 18 or maybe 2 different 15's.I would like to just have 1 18 so I was wondering what would be a good 18 to replace my 2 15's?Right now I have a clarion CZ 200 head unit, and a Autotek 1500 Street Machine amp.My car is a 1977 oldsmobile Delta 88 and my subs are in the trunk and thats where the 18 would go also.I was thinking about the FI BL 18" sub.Im not real familar with any other brands so any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks. Been out of car audio for some time... and now, with my new car... I am addicted again I was able to pick up a set of Boston Z6 comps for dirt cheap (yea Craigslist!). And have them hooked up to an old MTX amp, don't even remember the model, that I had laying around. Since these are 3ohm and I have them bridged to the MTX 4chan... the MTX doesn't like it. I don't think I ever had an amp get that hot. So I am looking for amp recommendation to power these hungry things. Any ideas? Thanks!

i've been running my magnums sealed for awhile now i feel it's time for a ported box. SI recommends 1.5 cubes per sub tuned to 32 hz. my question is doesn't anybody have there subs in this type of enclosure and how does it sound? or will it sound better in a different size/tuned box?

Currently own 1 Fi BL 15 and I have been looking into competing. I have been doing some reading and a common limitation for the lowest power class in USACI, (1-600watts at 4 ohms? best I could find: stock 1, street beat 1, etc.) is one 12", two 10" or 3 8". Feel free to correct me and my stupidity any time! If I was looking to compete in said class(es), one 12 seems to be the cheapest route, so here are the options I have found for my budget, (whatever I can get for my BL + less than $100) 1: Used DC level 4 XL, (dual one) for ~ $290 (should I turn into dual 2? is that possible?) 2: Just the motor of the level 4 XL (send it into PSI or something and get it rebuilt?) …

i know this isn't really the sight for marine audio, but i got sooooo much help from the forums here about car audio. i recently put a 18" fi btl sub in my jeep. I have a brand new mb sports wakeboarding boat, and the stock system it has is weak! i want to replace the stock speakers, head unit, and put tower speakers, and at least 1 12" sub in the boat. i don't know anything about marine audio though, i need to know good brands out there, install tips, and pretty much everything there is to know about installing boat systems. so if any of you know a thing or two, or could point me in the right direction, it would be AWESOME!!! thanks! I will be getting my ssa icon 15's reconed soon(hopfully)and thought I would give them a few personal touches. The question I have is. Should I polish the front of the spokes??(already tried one.. see pic) or go all black? thanks in advance, btw: before anyone asks,Yes.. I have posted this on another forum already.

If I put a 6.5 rms 100 watts and a 3.5 at 45 watts on the same channel would the wattage add together or would I over power the the 3.5 trying to power the 6.5. The 3.5 are for location. And they are both 4 ohm loads.

So I run 2 Pioneer TS-W3002SPL's and now one sub has a horrible mechanical noise at low Hz Cycles and overall chopped and screwed music. I know i fucked it up but is there any specific reason why my sub is broken. They are 1000 RMS subs and I was running them at 300 RMS off a Sundown SAE-1200d at 2 Ohms so the only reason could be massive clipping. One of the subs is still fine though and I don't want to ruin that one as well. What happened and is there any way to fix what I did?

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting my dad some new speakers for his vette. I'd like to get him something that has good SQ, around in the 2-300 dollar range. It would still be ran off of the stock head unit. I think its got 5 1/4" in the door with a tweeter in the top of the door panel. I would probably also look into putting some deadener in the doors like second skin or something. Whats your alls suggestions?

Hey guys! so its time to get around to finishing up my car in at least short terms. And i've got Big 3 to do, dampening (it never ends), and a new front stage. What would you guys recommend for a front stage? Lemme give you guys the set-up/etc i'm looking currently for a so-so good sounding driver.
