Hey guys lookign for some insight. I have a 2002 lincoln ls, i was looking at (4)10 inch BL subs or(1) 15 inch sub built to specs both set ups on a saz-1500 or saz-2000. Budget not really an issue. The enite trunk is going to be used no spare tire. Which one Would you choose? Recommendation also welcome

k, i figure that my best bet for a sub is to get an enclosed subwoofer. which of these in your opinion are the best: kicker L5 10" solobaric, 12" kicker compVT, sony xplod 12" shallow, or the jl audio 12" power wedge thanks to everyone

  3. Which is better ( Fi 15 inch bl or a Kicker l7 15 inch) Would like some opinions on which is more liked amongst everyone! Kind of stuck trying to pick 2 new Subwoofers out for the new system I'll be putting in my car. Yes I know kicker isn't a very favored brand for a lot of people, but I have heard a lot of great things about kickers new 2 ohm 15 inch l7's. I still have a few friends who swear by Fi and SMD's Subwoofers so I thought I would see if I could get some added opinions.

Same wattage. Which has best sq and gets load . Had my eyes set on IA lethal injection 12" . But now looking at the Sundown sa12 I'm undecided. Just want some comments and feedback before I order and before my final box design by Argent. Listen to rap and classic rock. 1300 wts and ported will be the setup

First, let me start off by thanking this forum for dealing with all of my threads. They've honestly been all over the place. (IB, ported, sealed, etc) As you can tell I've been going from plan after plan trying to make my mind up, so I finally stripped my car's trunk today so I can make a final plan. I removed my current setup from my trunk today and took out all my panels, measured and laid out several cardboard cut outs. I can provide close to 2.5 cubes for a 15" sub. Havoc Icon Fi Q etc I know all of these subs will provide more than enough SQ for me. I honestly wouldn't know great SQ if it smacked me in the face. I can tell when I hear bestbuy crap though. So now I'…

Which glue is better to use on recones, the CA glue that comes with some kits, or 15 minute epoxy. Apparently FI doesnt send ca glue with a recone kit, they told me to use 15 minute epoxy. Thanks

I have also considered a single 12 in ssd in a different similar style box but with bigger mounting depth and using up an entire 1.0-1.2 cubes SEALED. what do you guys think? thanks

setup will be going in a 97 explorer ran off of a single american bass 500.1 @ 1 ohm...1250 watts per woofer. Objective....loud as chit, uncomfortable, cant breath, cant see, daily driving setup to demo at shows. Option A Sub up port back 10.62 cubes after all displacements 3 6" aeros @ 20 inches long each 30 hz tuning Option B Sub up port back 10.35 cubes after all displacements 4 6" aeros @ 20 inches long each 35 hz tuning I think option A will work very well but 30 hz tuning might miss a lot of songs apart from bass mekanik and the odd really low rap song. Any thoughts? thanks

Alright, right now I am in the market for a single 15 inch sub. I have a clean 500w to work with. I was considering three different subs. The Sundown E-15, the SKAR IVX 15, and the Obsidian OA-15. I am looking to get something under $180. So far I have somewhat disregarded the sundown for a couple reasons. One being the skar and obsidian like the lows a wee bit better, and, just out of personal preference, I kinda want the rubber surround (what I have now). I'm leaning more toward the Obsidian... probably because of its longer throw, and larger/stronger magnet. I don't want a DCON... just saying that now. So, for any of these subs, they will end up going in a ported box b…

  12. Was just curious about which of these would be louder. 2 IA 187 10s in 1.5 cubes each tuned to 33 - 34hz or 2 SSA dcon 12s in 1.75 cubes each tuned to 33 - 34hz? I have the dcon 12s already, but my gf likes the way they sound sealed and I'm thinking of giving them to her with the sealed box. I've personally never tried 10s before, so it would be something new to me. I could get the 2 187 10s for an awesome price as well.

  14. I've always been a fan of sealed boxes. I know alot of you are anti-sealed and also feel that sealed setups can't get loud, but I beg to differ. Which of these could get louder sealed? 2 IA Lethal Injections 12s 1 IA Death Row 15 1 SSA Xcon 15 2 SSA Icon 12s 2 DC Level 3 12s

All of these would be powered off a Sundown SAZ-2000d in 4.5 cubes tuned to 33hz. Was just curious about this because I'd like to eventually get an SUV and would like to do one of these setups. I know this is a matter of opinion, but I'd like to see how many opinions lead more towards what out of curiousity. RE Audio MX 15 DC Level 4XL 15 SSA Xcon 15

Hey im a little stuck between thse two setups. Fi BL 15 w/ cooling in a 3.5cf tuned to 32hz after dis. or 3 sa-8s in a 2.5 tuned to 35 hz after dis. What i want from it is low hard hitting bass. I want it to get loud but retain some sq. Loud>sq though. In terms of powering it. It will be the same amp whether i get the BL or the 8s. 1500 watts. What it will go in? 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Need any more details? Just ask. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I was wondering which one of these two subs would be better for me. It's either the 18" Xcon or the 18" Nightshade. Only $50 difference between the two right now. I'm going to get two. Probably get powered from a saz-3500d. If no deal on another amp comes around. Main goal is to do hair tricks and shake other vehicles at comps. Thanks.

I have a pair of DCON 12's and I blew one of them so looking to get a pair of new woofers. I loved how the DCON's sounded but looking to maximize my amp's power. The subs I am looking at are AQ SDC2.5, Obsidian Audio 12, Sundown SD-2 and they are within my budget of $350. They will be powered by an AQ1200D. I have a enclosure built by DC Creations and it made my DCON slam hard. If you guys have another suggestion I'm all ears.

I have decided to go ahead and keep supporting the local shop around here and buy speakers from him. All speakers listed would be bought at dealer cost. If you vote, tell me why you voted the way you did.
