Is there a manual? if there is, someone could send it to me and i would courteously make it into a .pdf file, if it isn't already.

aight i bout to go all out and buy some more subs, so should i get 2 xxx's 2 mags 2 ED a's the new bois 2 MT's they gone be 15's any body got prices on the subs cuz i'm kinda lazy..

I got a viper d1200.1 and i will be running 1 15" at 1ohm. would that be too much power? also if running at 1 ohm, should i build an amp rack with a fan? if the rack is nessicary, anyone know any sites with some plans, or some ideas on designs, etc. o yeah, i am putting this in a Saab 9000 hatchback.

I want to order a 15" D2 that come out in the middle of june but I emailed nick@SI 3 times and no responce on how I can pay besides money order. Can I pay via paypal? It was a local audio shop's competition that I heard about and entered at the last minute (I got metered at their last one with my previous setup: 2 RF HX2 subs on a 1001D Fosgate amp and I got a 146.0) This time around..... 159.9 outlaw on SPL170 mic (I think this is the right mic) Second overall, first in class Running one 15" D2 on a Hifonics 1500D in 3.2ft^3 @ 32Hz enclosure I was satisfied with my score and I think I suprised (and scared) some people

has anyone ever heard these midranges befor from morel. if so anyone give me a mini review or somehting pelase?

i've been running my magnum with about 800w for the last couple weeks, and its just dying for more power. i am having a new box designed, and i was thinking of buying a 1500bd. now obviously i dont wanna wire the sub to 4ohm, as i will have the same power as now, but i wanna wire it to 1ohm, so im looking at 1600w rms+ (assuming the amp is fine at 1ohm, which i've heard it should be) i will probably have it scoped and setup the gains so it makes around 1.5k which i think is reasonable for a daily drive what i wanna know is what is the maximum i can give it for a daily drive? i probably wont risk anything over 1.5k, but is anyone running more than that?? thanks in advance

ok what is the diff. between last year's L7 and this year. i heard that they are louder by like .4 or .5 is this true? r they more durable

First off i would like to announce that im an idiot, and i posted in the wrong section earlier this evening... now to my question.... I got a 92 toyota pickup, and i refuse to cut the bed, so i want to build a box behind my seat... I can get the box at about 1cf i think and still be able to fit the amp in the back... so i was interested in getting a d2 '12 so since i cant physically see the woofer, i would see what you guys think... can it be done.. you guys ever seen your sub in a wedge application and is 1cf enough for the sub... i have a rockford punch 800rms @4ohms.. is that gonna be enough to push it in a smaller box like that?? ive heard nothing but great things abo…

I see quite a few people on here running a one D2 12 set up in a sealed box and am curious if y'all (or anyone else) can shed some light on this. I'm considering going from my current 2 X e10O setup (800 watts in ~ 2 cu ft) sealed to a single D2 12 (~1200 watts in ~2 cu ft) sealed. I realize this is an SI forum but you guys seem pretty mature (well, at least in your advice ) so I'm hoping to get some relatively unbiased advice. I'm looking for noticeable gains in both my low end and that hard-to-breathe bass while maintaining a high level on SQ. Will I achieve this?

So my 2 mags are finally installed, but they don't sound right at all. And it's bc I'm an idiot. :thud: I think the gains are too low, but I need to know what the gain knob is on a tantrum 1200.1. Is it the sensitivity knob? And does the gain go higher as you turn it from .2 to 4. It is on .2 now, and it sounds terrible, like everything is just rumbling together. The kick drums don't sound right at all. I don't hear a distinct punch for each kick. I know it has something to do with the amp settings, bc these are magnums we are talking about. Also, I was driving around last night, and my lights didn't dim or blink at all, so that may be indication that the gains …

I installed my d2 and it sounds great it just doesn't get as loud as I though that it would (stroker 12 I heard) I have it in a 2.35 ft^3 tuned to about 33hz and a diamond 600.1 (600 @ 4 ohms) in the trunk of an accord should I have tuned the box higher or get more power? right now it is as loud as two type R 12s I had in a sealed box but not as loud as the stroker (sealed) that I heard last night. what can I do

Im reading everyone on here has their Mag d2 in a sealed box. Whats the deal? Are they a lot better in sealed vs. ported?

Have a box for a different sub i'm running right now, wanted to know if i could expect good low end bass from a 12 d2 in a 2.1 cube box tuned at 30 hz before driver displacement.. I would be feeding it ~700w daily. I'm a deep bass junkie, but i had to get rid of my HC 15, and need something in a 12" driver that can get LOW in a box no bigger than 2.1 cubes ported, 2.3 cubes sealed and shallow (12" would be my only option from SI). I can get more power, i was wondering if i could just plug the D2 into my box as i don't really want to make another one, it's quite a pain because it's not square. I suppose i could take the backseat out of my Wrangler again, but that won'…

Well I am going to purchase a D2 15" monday and I needed some help on building an enclosure. On the website it says that SI reccomends the box be 4 cu/ft vented to 28 hz. I was reading around on the forums people doing like 2.1 cu/ft boxes ported to 30 hz. Whats the deal with this? I love deep deep bass but also like a bit of SQ in the mix. I will be running the sub off a hifonics bx1500. What do you guys recommend I build? Thanks

Before anyone freaks out we are still going to make subwoofers but we cannot use the name "Magnum" anymore. A Corporation called Mitek owns the rights to the word "Magnum" in car audio, so we cannot use it. This last batch of 12's and 15's that was just made will be the last speakers with "Magnum" on them. A lot of you have already seen this, but I am posting it for those who haven't. This is my newly completed SQ project........ and maybe a little SPL on the side. This weekend, I will finally get my stuff installed. This includes Iraggi alternator, big 3, new battery, pg tantrum 1200.1 amp, and 2 12 mags sealed in a gnomeaudio box. Can't wait!!! Since i cannot physically see the sub, i thought i would ask for help. Im gonna build a custom box, for behind my seat... i think i can get the box at around 1cf and still be able to fit my amp. I realize the opinions here may be a bit swayed (kinda like asking Bush if our entering into Iraq was a positive decision) but I am curious if any of you have applications similar to my proposed. Firstly, I by no means have a golden ear, but am picky enough to want a high level of SQ. However, I am also wanting something that will shut up the young punk sitting next to me if need be. My proposed application will be under the rear seat of my Quad Cab in a ported fiberglass enclosure (at least 2 cu ft) and proper tuning. I will be pushing the 12" sub with an Avionixx 800.2 which does 800 @ 4. Anything similar out there?
