Hey. I'm looking at getting 8 of the E8's powered by a Sundown SAZ-3000 in a ported box. What size should the box be I am installing them in a 96 cutlass trunk? Also is tuned to 32hz a good freq? Lastly, If i have the box built right and powered right, can I expect good SPL and SQ? I know nothing about these subs so help would be greatly appreciated! :clap:

My friend has a TC-3k 15" Subwoofer for sale for $280 and might be able to get it down to $250, worth it?

I just made a ported box, and the recessed terminal cup i bought at my local shop looks pretty hard to install - the back of it is a rounded rectange. is it ok to just drill a small hole for my speaker wire in the back of the box and fill it with silicon caulk? im worried this will just make it leak terribly...

I just purchased some bravox cs60cf components and I would like to run them active. I would like to know what is a good rms to give the tweeter and a good rms for the midbass. I have a jl 500/5 that gives 100 rms for front two channels and 25 rms for the back two.

what are good component sets, i want the rockford fosgate t165, but wanted to hear more opinions and options

im curious if anyone has any experience with bravox subs, or have heard anything, ie quality and service thanks.

Whats up peeps. Im in the market to upgrade my current system (well atleast the sub). Running a 15"FiQ, 3.5cuft 30hz, off a crossfire vr1000d. I love my sub SQ is great and hits suprisingly hard for an SQ sub, just that the output level just isnt cutting it anymore. Thought about adding another Q but space is somewhat an issue, dont want to cram dual 15's and not get the most out of them. So im looking for a replacement. I want to stick to a single sub setup. I know that i need a high power sub so these are my current options. I just sold my 15" TC-3K DVC so I'm looking for a new sub. It was in a 2.5 ft^3 sealed enclosure so I still have that box to work with. I also have a dual 12" sealed box 1.0 ft^3 per sub as well for use. The sub will be powered by my Sundown 1500D. I'm looking at the Havoc 15" to run sealed but haven't heard the sub so I'm looking for some suggestions on sub models and 1 15" vs. 2 12" subs. Looking for LSQ since with 1500 watts on tap I like to turn it up a bit. If you're wondering I got rid of the TC-3K since I have another for home theater use anyway but just want more SQ. It was a great sub but guess my ears are changing so looking for a bit more SQ than I had.

Hey guys whats up. I'm selling the Exploder and getting an Accord coupe. I want to do an IB setup...I'm moving away from the SPL deal. I am starting to crave more SQ. Possible drivers I was thinking about were: 1. single ED 19Ov.2 (already have) 2. two Exodus Audio TempestX 3. four ED 13Kv.2 (on sale right now) Not really sure about what else. I really want to do two 15 inch subs...I'm thinking it should get pretty low and have decent SPL. Also need some advice about midbass...I was thinking about making some 8" kickpods lol.

So, I had a little whoopsie the other day when my tweet fell off and hit my brand new ID 6.5" woofer, putting a very fine crack in the dustcap. It's only about an inch long, and it's a clean split... you hardly even notice it's there. What would somebody recommend I put on this to keep it from getting worse? It's not a gaping hole or anything it's hair-thin... thanks!

If a 12" needs 1.75 cubes and has a displacement of .12, does the same model 10" need 1.4 and has a displacement of .096? Do you multiply 1.75 & .12 by .2 because there is a 20% size increase from 10 to 12?

Need some new coaxial for mty tahoe. I am stuck between RE Audio RE.6.5FR, Rockford Fosgate T162C, or the Kicker 08KS600. Which one is the best out of the three. Thanks in advance.

Just received my 2 12" zcon's today that I purchased from brownm3. They look gigantious compared to the kickers, lol. They are in super awesome shape and stiff as hell. Super excited and hopefully can get these in this weekend if I can make it to get the batt. Very easy transaction and a big thanks to brownm3 for the sale.

Hello, I am currently in the market for a sub woofer box for a Fi audio X 12 sub woofer. I have been trying to get the specs right with RE audio calculator but it seems I am in need of help. I have room for a H 14" x W 22" x D 22" sub box. I want it to be ported and tuned @ 33Hz I will be powering it with a amp that pushes 500w @2 ohms. Thank you for all of your help. I have an RE SR 15" that I acquired in a trade on CA.com and I was wondering if I could put ~400-~500WRMS safely to it, with out burning up the coils? It's a 2.65Ft^3 box tuned to 35Hz, and I was thinking it would get a little louder off of 300WRMS than what it did.

Hey guys, I have an s10 with a FI BL fully loaded 10" and a sundown 1500D on it. I have an alpine CDA-7893 HU, with polk audio coax speakers in the door and dash. I have already put sound deaden-er in the doors. What I'm asking is what amp and component speakers would you guys go with in an s-10. The door speakers are 6.5" I recently took out my sub and amp from my truck and I'm loving the leg room back. So whatever I get out of selling them is what cash I will have to put into a new component set. Im thinking 330 shipped for the amp, and I'm not sure on the sub yet. Well I want to try my Fi Q10 in a ported box to see if I can sqeeze a littel more output out of it but don't really know where to start. It is in a S10 ext cab and I don't what to take up the whole back seat and keeping the sound quality I have now in a .6ft^3 box is a must. I was thinking of using tubes for ports instead of a slot port but I am open to anything. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike B.

Just got the word, the Mach5 SPL-15 will be built.. I'm looking forward to this. triple stack 8.5 round mags, 6 spiders. This will be a monster. 3000rms per mach5 It will be a little while before I actually get it due to building and shiiping but I'll post pics when it comes...

Hey guys Im looking to buy a JL w3v3-2ohm 10'' in my car. I have a 04' BMW 3 series sedan now. I will be getting a custom box so it fits snug somewhere (not moving around everywhere). I currently have my kicker zx750.1 amp, do you think this will be a good match for it? Or do you recommend the 4ohm version? Running just a 4 gauge to it, and looking for some decent CLEAN bass to satisfy everyone in my car =D
