hi i am wondering wich set of 6.5 components would be better or sound better the cdt EF-61CF or diamond audio hex. can you tell me how good the set was was if you owned any 2. both are about the same price range.thanks

Hey guys Im looking to buy a JL w3v3-2ohm 10'' in my car. I have a 04' BMW 3 series sedan now. I will be getting a custom box so it fits snug somewhere (not moving around everywhere). I currently have my kicker zx750.1 amp, do you think this will be a good match for it? Or do you recommend the 4ohm version? Running just a 4 gauge to it, and looking for some decent CLEAN bass to satisfy everyone in my car =D

Which one would have the most output for daily in a 3 12, common chamber slot port tuned to 32 hz? Im mainly looking for something that will get loud and low and still sound moderately decent. My amplifier is a saz-3000d so im looking for 3 12's in the 1000 + watts range. Anyone have experience with the two? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I'm looking to upgrade on some equipment on my 04' Jeep Grand. I've been out of the scene for a few years and need some advice on equipment. Here is my set up so far: -Alpine head unit -Front stage: Dynaudio 7" seperates, powered by PPI pc275 @ 4ohm (100w) -Rear fill: Infinity Kappa 6.5" coaxils, powered by head unit -Subwoofer: 10" Audimobile EVO vented ~40 hertz, powered by PPI pc275 @ 4ohm mono (300w) -much sound dampening Goals: Keeping the Dyn's are a must as well as the head unit. I am looking to buy a SSA DCON 12" sub. Is there anyone in the Dallas, Texas area that sells and stocks SSA subs? I am in Louisiana and Dallas is about 200 miles from me but I am going this weekend. I have called numerous shops there and no one that I have spoken with sells SSA. One shop had an Icon logo on their website and they said they were not familiar with the SSA DCON. So, any help as to where I could buy a SSA DCON 12" sub in the Dallas, Texas area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you jonblack

im pretty sure that i want to go with infinity kappa speakers to match my 463.7 front speakers that sound AWESOME. right now i have a plate made for 4 4's that i have 4 proaudio speakers in it, that sound alright, but 2 of them are blown. so im probably either going with 2 693.7i kappa 6x9s, or 4 42.7i kappa 4's. im kind of leaning towards the 4's sounding better, what do you all think?

So far I know of some mainstream subs that can have decent output sealed like JL Audio or Kicker. I also know the AA Havoc's are supposed to be suprisingly loud sealed, but that's in a much higher power range. What non-mainstream subs in the 500 watt power range have good output sealed. I know the dcon's are great subs, but much better off ported than sealed. I have a friend that wants a pair of 12s or 15s sealed off 500 watts and I'm trying to steer him away from maintream and to run something different than the JL's, RF or Kicker that everyone has around here. I recently picked up a trio of ppi pcx102 dual 2 10" flat cones. I am going to wire them to a 1.33 ohm load, got a few ideas on amps but am wondering about how much power I could give to them. they are rated at 250 rms but was wondering if they could possibly handle a little more as long as its clean? I have more than this but am willing to devote about 5.5 cubes before port and sub to this build. I'm really curious to see what the Le of an 12" XCON is. My heart has been set on an AE AV-X driver for the longest time, but i keep coming back to SSA and ponder if I should just get the XCON. I don't have an amp yet, it all depends on what driver I decide on getting. My hesitation comes from getting a high xmax driver. Purchased the New Minataur II, Currently have two IDQ 10's running off a Zapco Comp 300 (Will be replaced with the Minatuar), Sounds decent, Was possibly looking to pick up a single Alumapro Alchemy MX 12 and giving that a shot instead of the two 10's, I'm pretty much in to SQ and prefer tight base but def dont mind it getting a bit load every now and then. In optimum enclosures ported around 33hz, off of about 2000rms in an extended cab ranger, which would have the potential to get louder, 2 Icon 15's or 1 Zcon 18.

I have a 1997 grand am and it came stock with tweeters, the door speakers are 4x6's. Tried a search for it but came up with nothin. How do I go about upgrading them, do I upgrade the speaker and tweeter seperate or what, do they have a factory crossover. Thanks for any help.

I just sold my 15" TC-3K DVC so I'm looking for a new sub. It was in a 2.5 ft^3 sealed enclosure so I still have that box to work with. I also have a dual 12" sealed box 1.0 ft^3 per sub as well for use. The sub will be powered by my Sundown 1500D. I'm looking at the Havoc 15" to run sealed but haven't heard the sub so I'm looking for some suggestions on sub models and 1 15" vs. 2 12" subs. Looking for LSQ since with 1500 watts on tap I like to turn it up a bit. If you're wondering I got rid of the TC-3K since I have another for home theater use anyway but just want more SQ. It was a great sub but guess my ears are changing so looking for a bit more SQ than I had.
