has anyone used these products and or what are your thoughts of them.

Hello everyone, i have two sets of 6.5 in. speakers im using as midbass in my s-10 pickup, im putting one speaker in the factory location and putting the other in Q-forms, has any body done this before, and how does this sound, then i am using some infinity 4x6 plate speakers in the factory location on top of the dash, the 6.5 will be crossed over at 60hrtz, then the infinity plates around 400 hrtz, has anyone heard a setup like this?I will have (4) q15s subwoofers in the box of the truck with a blow through to the cab, well i was just wondering what u all think about this setup, ty, brian

I was wondering what the pros and cons were to having subs face each other? ie would they pressurize the air better? (since both subs are compacting air on a certain point) To answer this consider same number of woofers, and for enclosure type consider straight wall compared to clamshell. thank you in advance for any insight.

Hi All, Would like some advice from those who have heard them. I have a sealed box that has appx .75 cubes after displacement. It has to be sealed and I prefer sealed anyhow. I put two Sundown SA-10's in there (yes I know they are better ported but my son has sa-12's sealed and sound great) but they just aren't doing it. Maybe some of it is because I'm used to my son's 12's but it seems like the 10's aren't hitting all the frequencies. They sound amazing with certain songs but not so great with others. Greetings, So surprised my username still works. Through college and the years following I stepped away from the audio realm. I am way out of the loop for the latest and greatest but frankly I no longer care about the audio industry though I still enjoy good music. I recently inherited this truck and out of memory of my grandfather and general practicality I am not going to modify it heavily. It has the Bose system and its fine for now. I just got a Fi Q12, running 1000watts from a memphis 16-PRD, and i really need new front speakers, from the stocks. Since the bass is so powerful, i need something that will blend well with the sub. I have a 2007 honda accord V6 EX-L. I am looking for a set up that will sound fluent and smooth with the sub. I am looking to spend around $400 for an amp and a pair of speaker. Do i need anything else to get the front speakers working, (Rewiring, new cables, anything?). because i am on a budget and i really want my setup to sound good.

Just playing around with my 1st TL experiment. It's ghetto, but sounds terifik for what it is. I have a cheap Walmart Regent HT-391 surround sound. I dropped the 5.25" subwoofer into a 5.5" cardboard tube I snagged from work 8'6" long. I believe that makes a 33Hz 1/4 wave. Once upon a time I had a TP roll glued to the cone for added mass experiments, so I tore it off so the black paper coating came off a little. I can't believe how loud and low the rear of the tube is VS how loud the driver end is... I wish I could do an 18' 22" pipe in my car for an IB3 22"! Just thought I'd post and see if anyone happens to have a box design for under the seat of a Silverado Ext. Cab for a 12" Mag D2 ported? I've been working on mocking up a design - but I was hoping someone else may have already done it. I've got a 2" lift kit installed on the rear bench seat - so I've got more room than normal. Also, looking for ideas on which way the sub and port should be facing. All thoughts and ideas much appreciated - thanks!

I own a 2006 Pontiac G6 3.5L Sedan. Im looking to install a system, but its been so long since I had one. I'm looking for a lot of bass but SQ is more important. I was looking at the Icon and Dcon series subs here. What I'm wanting to know is which would be better in your opinion for Tight bass and great SQ. I was thinking 2 10's or maybe 1 15'. Trying to figure out how they are, what to do for an enclosure, and how much power i can safely give it. i have probably about 1200 on tap, the last owner said he was running it @ 2 ohms on an SAE1000 and it'll take more. I recently purchased a pioneer double din touch screen head unit for my system which works pretty damn good. I have type r coaxial speakers running my interior speakers strapped to a hifonics 400 watt amplifier. For the subs I am running 2 12 inch pioneer pro series subs strapped to an hifionics 2000 watt mono block amp. I am running straight auxiliary inputs from the back of the head unit because i simply use 2 amps. All of a sudden today everything put out nothing but static. Hey guys! so its time to get around to finishing up my car in at least short terms. And i've got Big 3 to do, dampening (it never ends), and a new front stage. Hello, I am buying a 15" Xcon for a friend of mine(he gives me the cash, it's really not a gift !!!). He builds enclosure for some shops around here. He has a 15" Kicker S15L7 in a 6 ft3 sealed enclosure with about 1300watts rms of power. It's the best sounding L7 I've ever heared : huge amount of bass, great low end notes,... How can he achieve that with the Xcon ? Would it be better with a sealed or a ported enclosure? Few people seems to use the Xcon in sealed boxes, how is the output in sealed boxes ? so after purchasing the BTL i need to beef up the rest of the system. Im riding in a 2004 Ford Explorer. I was thinking two sets of RF T1572 (power series!). WRMS 70 a piece. thinking about powering them with a JL audio J2 320.4 (60 watts to four speakers.) Wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these products and any suggestions for other full range speakers? im looking to spend about 350-400 for 2 sets of speakers and an amp. I know its kinda cheap.... but oh well. The head unit is the Eclipse CD7200 MKII (soon to be that is =] i just want some and any input before i make this purchase!! thanks
