I have a 1994 chevy suburban that i am gonna take out the third row seat looking at doing 4 of the killer 18" subs but i did my box work and came up with @ 14 cubes for 2 18" tuned to like 25hz the curve looks killer but i dont know how to add in the cabin gain... so i need help thanks guys i am trying to get this done for USACI FINALS since they are having them in my town this year

I will soon be attempting my first recone. I am ordering a recone kit for my aq hdc315 d1 right now and when it arrives dj(aq's owner) told me to call him back and he would walk me through it step by step. For those who have done recones before any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! p.s. Just thought this was funny. I called two audioshops in nearby towns and asked the guy who answered the phone if any one there could do recones. Neither shop had ever even heard of reconing a speaker and the guy at the second shop thought I was trying to prank him because he had never heard of reconing or the brand audioque. I just picked up a 04 crossfire, and have setteled for two tens. I found a box that is .42 x 2, that will face the rear. I haven't went speaker shopping since the mid 90's. I'm used to two 12 inch hollywoods, in a small box for mustangs, with a bazooka 700w amp. almost enough to vibrate your eyes. With a budget in mind, what should I look into? brands, versions, amp???? any suggestions, thanks chris

Can they handle half ohm each I plan to wire them down to half ohm each when I get them since I will be getting a dc audio 2k and want to get the 1ohm power output

can some one help im looking to get 2 15s i have a sundown 3000 im looking for sq but at the same time something that can take low notes more toward quality sound and dont wanna pay more then 350 a sub.

I was at a friends house the other day and noticed he had a pair of speakers laying around he wasnt using.. I asked him why and he said "idk how to hook them up.." So I took a look at them and saw they were kind of old, but also noticed that they were Polk Audio speakers.. I know polk of being a good brand, and they looked like some decent speakers to have around so I told him I'd give him 25$ for the pair and we made the deal. I got home to do some research on them and can't find any that match up to these... the closest thing I can find are the "Polk Monitor 4's".. They look a lot alike except the tweeter style is slightly different and the port location on mine is off …

hey guys!! i recently purchased a 2002 chevy suburban. I will be using the burban as my sound car instead of my dodge charger so my question is... what components do you guys suggest me getting the car speaker sizes are 5-1/4" all around.. front door,rear door and kick panel. i want to get them on an amp was thinking of a sundown amp for sure because i am getting a sundown SAZ-2000 if you guys can help me out PLEASE figure out what components and sundown amp to get!! Well, my RMB8s won't fit, so I'm gonna ditch the 3-way active and run 2-way with a pair of 7" Revs. Anyone recommend a good tweet to go along with these? Looking at no more than $200 for the pair. Will be moungtd in the door.

I own a 2006 Pontiac G6 3.5L Sedan. Im looking to install a system, but its been so long since I had one. I'm looking for a lot of bass but SQ is more important. I was looking at the Icon and Dcon series subs here. What I'm wanting to know is which would be better in your opinion for Tight bass and great SQ. I was thinking 2 10's or maybe 1 15'. just bought a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 reg cab and im looking for some suggestions on subs to get my friend has a dual 12 box im buying from him and i only want about 1200 to 1500 watts rms so i dont have to get a h/o alt im putting dual batts under the hood and a alpine headunit rockford fosgate power 6.5s ill probably get a t1500bd so i need 2 12s that will sound good and get loud in a seal box thanx in advance

It's funny how people used to like Treo subs just as much, if not some more than RE subs and nobody talks about them anymore. I'm thinking of upgrading my system within the next few months. I have a 2006 Corolla sport for those of you who don't know me already and a JBL GTO 1201.1 II amp powering a pair of Orion HP 12s sealed in 1.2 cubes per chamber and a Batcap 800 for my amp. I've heard people changing sizes of the sub when they do a recone, so I guess my question is how? Don't you need the correct basket size or can you recone a 15 or 18" basket into a 12"?

okay so my gf has these cheap kenwood speakers and the dust cap is starting to come unglued from the surround. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_43777_Kenwood-KFC-W12PS.html what can i use to get them to stick back together well. the sub still works obviously but there is an annoying sound i'd like to fix. thanks!! edit: its only about a 1-2 inch part that is coming up from the surround so nothing too crazy lol
