Tracy could you give us a little clinic on the advantages of the new L7's compared to the older L7's and if your feeling sausey, could you explain to us the advances of the SX line over the KX amp line

I know prefab boxes arent very good, but right now I dont have the time to make my own box. Do you have any suggestions for a good prefab box for the 15" Magnum. Thanks.

Can 't decide. I was in Sound Advise listening to the demo speakers, wanted to check out the Clarion decks. I coulda sworn the W7 was hittin with the Z6s until I realized it was just the components that were playing! Nice stuff. How do the 307s compare to this?

just out of curiosity, how would you say the magnum d2 stacks/sounds compared to a 12 inch idmax V.3 D2

Will 480 watts be a sufficient amount of power for this sub? What's the best box I should use for this amount of power? I was thinking the recommended 2 cubic foot tuned to 29Hz would be a good choice but was wondering if there's anything else I should consider if I purchase one of these subs. Thanks.

would this be plenty of power for 2 D2 12s. My Tantrum's birthsheet says it is 1507 watts. would that be sufficient for the two?

Yea, Ive already checked the SI website and saw the address to send my money to, but I was wondering if there was a way to pay for one of these with PayPal, or if sending my check off was the only way. Do I need to write Nick an email before I send the check so that he is expecting it, or should I just go ahead and send it with my contact information (email, phone, address....anything else needed besides naming the item I am buying?)? yeah, i finally made enough money to order the 15" d2 yesterday. thank god for ebay. anyways, my original plan was to power it with a hifonics brutus 1500 watt amp. id wire the sub to one ohm and get the 1500 watts. then, as i was reading this forum, i saw that other topic about putting 1500 watts to the sub, and how it was said that 1500 is quite a lot. my question is...should i continue with this amp and just set the gains down lower? or should i downgrade to the brutus 1000d amp? this will be a daily driver...so yeah. next question. my box. im lookin for probably 60% spl, 40% sq. so i was thinking about a 4ft^3 ported enclosure, tuned to 32hz. would this sound okay for…

ok this is the deal im looking for 15" sub for a friend... he has a MTX1501 (1500w x 1 @ 2 ohm) so the sub has to be dvc 1 ohm or 4 ohm. the price is $350.00 for the sub and has to compare to say a 12a, 15 magnum, 15H2 ect ect something along those lines. at first i was going to get him a sx15 from RE because they said they can build it any ohm load id like, but with that much power im scared to blow the sub. i was told that they dont like that much power for daily just burps. this is going in a 98 accord with good size box tuned to hurt...lol if you need more info i can see about getting it jamie

Was just wondering how a single 15" D2 will handle 1500 watts of power? Is it too much for the driver, or will it handle it perfectly and pound to my heart's content? Thanks

anyone have any experience with memphis subs? 2-12's in sealed box. all according to spec. which would be better. hpo and d2 shp and d2 The shp is kinda expensive, so wondering if a d2 would be better? hpo is pretty cheap but does d2 blow it away? thanks.

Both 12" in sealed boxes. SQ? Ability to sound good with 1200w for two drivers. Both subs seem awesome to me, I have been looking at adire because of the xbl tech. Brahma is a little more $. ahh I wish I could listen to them myself. Compare some of these side by side.

Hi there. Just joined you all the way from a rather cold England. My name is Erskine and I have a very strong working interest in Bass Box Designs, anyway I have just been given two nice new Magnum D2's which I shall be putting into one of my tried and tested Three Chamber Internally Ported Reflex Boxes. As the D2's are two ohm per coil, have previous owners got a preference for the wiring options. Both coils in series or parallel and then both speakers in either series or parallel. I will be using a Genesis Monobloc rated at 1650wrms [1200wrms with my current electrical set-up] into one ohm and I am more of an SQ guy rather than out and out SPL. Just interested to hear …
