What's the best way to wire my bl 12

I have a sundown saz 1500d v3, and was hoping to run all sundown equipment soon, so the question is would a 1500d push two sa 15s nice or would they seem ' under powered'. Would most likely have the box be 3.5 cubes each @ 35 hz

I just picked up an 03 Tahoe. I'm wanting to buy a above average set of components. At this stage vehicle is bone stock. I plan to use only stock locations. Mid around knee to lower knee height. Tweet up in the pillar aiming up towards middle of windshield. Budget is roughly $300 for the pair. Sub stage will be a btl 18 and a saz1500. Will power these components with possibly an older 800.4 fosgate. Looking for suggestions on sets that are out there and any experience anyone has had with these they can share. Prob won't go active, kind of intimidated by it lol.

Now that my system has begun we are looking to build hers. Just on saturday she decided she wanted to start a system for her Kia Soul. This was decided when she bought an Alpine MRX-M55 amp because it was on sale at one of local shops.$230 canadian. I was surprised but happy. She bought it then asked if it was a good deal and a good amp. Guy at store recommended it to her. I figure good amp for that price. Anyways lol. Looking at Fi X12 or Gcon 12 to pair with this amp. She loves metal, Club and yes Bieber LOL so pretty much all types of the bass range. I'm thinking Gcon but she says why not the one you got which was Fi. Any input or other recommendations appreciated…

Looking to go with a 12" sub hopefully but the box specs are the same if it was a 10 or 12 inch sub. Specs are: 1 ft 3 sealed. 5.75 mounting depth Going to be a stealth box custom made by someone other than jl... I was thinking sundown sd12? Anything out there that i could fit in a box like that and get some decent output?

Dont know if any of you have heard of Rival Sub woofers but the guy who designed these subs I think has done a good job. He has his own car audio shop Rival Mobil Electronics about 40 miles from me and I have had the opportunity to hear a few vehicles that have these Rival sub woofers in them and they are performers. Here is a few vids of the vehicles. This vid he has more power 7200rms clamped. Now for the s-10 which is a sweet build on two 12" Rivals And the Owner's name is Bill and he has a pretty loud jeep with 4 12" Rivals in a wall that has done over 156db this vid has a good view of the subs. Here is his 155.2db score was not his higest

I have been up and down on what I wanted to put in my trunk. After some help from others on here I have got a starting point to get some good opinions. If this is still not a good starting point just tell me what I need to do. So I have measured my trunk and found that 34L x 34W x13H would be the largest enclosure I would be able to get in and out of my trunk with out building multiple piece enclosure. My cousin just got these in a trade for his box that I built for his 2 cvx 15's. We hooked them up free-air and they sound find but we won't know for sure until we put them in an enclosure. I've seen them sale for $300+ on other forums. Anybody have any idea on how much they are worth? Guy wants him to add cash and we're just trying to see what's a fair asking price for these. I see a lot of heavy subs or multiple sub boxes being used with double baffles. Is there really any pros or cons to that vs adding some bracing inside the box? I'd think it wouldn't matter much, but I can learn something new here every day!

Any heard if FI or ssa are thinking about adding a supercharged options for their subs like dd has? Would be a good addition to the evil and BTL's IMO

i am planning on getting a regular cab chevy colorado within the next few weeks and am starting to plan out the sound system. so far i know the h.u, door speakers and tweeters. but am not sure about the sub, amp or box. i have been looking at ssa and sundown audio. i am more into sq than spl and listen to a variety of music anywhere from rap to metal. and i have a budget for the sub, box, and amp of around 600 to 700. space is the number one issue since its a regular cab, i do not care if there is room in the back i just do not want to have to have the seat pulled up to an uncomfortable position.

I have had weird issues off and on with my amp (teac 200.1) and my components( phoenix gold radials ran passively). little things like sounding muffled at start up in cold weather. I bought the amp on here a few years ago for $15, so no big loss. The other day i was involved in a fender bender and the power wire from the front battery to the back came undone. I didn't notice this until a few days ago. The tip off should have been that the sound deteriorated over the course of a week . Yesterday I took an old speaker and some wire and tested the amp and rca's for a clean signal. Left channel is dead and right is static-y. I said screw and attempted to run my components off…

I ordered two dual two fi ssd subs. I built my whole system around the subs. I built the box to spec, upgraded all my electrical, ordered a sundown 2500 for them. It's took awhile to get it all built and I'm still waiting on the amp. Adw the problem I have is when I boxed the subs I noticed that they had no movement. I just thought they were reply stiff. Got everything installed just waiting on amp, but wanted to see how they sounded. I hooked them up in series and put them on a 1000d just to here them. Ran across a website that makes speaker pods for my vehicle. (03 Tahoe) http://www.customspeakerpods.com/Front-Door-Speaker-Pods-for-65-Speakers-GM-01-01-01-A.htm Has anyone used these? Price isn't bad at all. The different aiming of the speaker may be a plus. Opinions, comments?

As the topic suggest what's the max wire gauge that will fit in the zcons terminals ? Also do you have to run fuses from your battery while running the wire back from the battery ? Thanks in advance going to order all my wiring and fuses tonight. Also the ebay dealer backed out so I purchased another zcon w cb dust cap. So atleast I know I'll have nothing to worry about sub wise.

I have 2 10" older RE SE with the 12 spoke baskets and will be building 2 sealed boxes for them. Its going in a 300zx twin turbo and so i want one in each corner. (I know one box is easier and better but i need room for t tops etc.) wondering if the enclosure recommendations of .4 compact and .65 optimal for the new ones would be a decent guideline or if anyone knows the recommended specs for these models.

sold the jimmy and got myself a 99 durango. Time to put some components in. So these are my options that i'm looking at. Which of these would you guys recommend if any? I'm also up for suggestions but trying to keep it right around $100 right now. Thanks guys

Hey Guys, I've spent an hour or so on the Forum looking for specific on optimum wiring for my single GCON 12" I've have two amps here at the house: Diamond Audio D600.1 Mono block 275W x 1 @ 4-Ohms450W x 1 @ 2-Ohms600W x 1 @ 1-Ohm OR Boston Acoustics GTA-500M Channels Mono Bridgeable Not Bridgable RMS Power at 2 Ohms 500 W x 1 RMS Power at 4 Ohms 300 W x 1 1. Which one would you use and how would you wire it? It's going in a sealed 1.4 cu ft box, I'm more about clean and crisp.... Can a Jedi kick down some layman's terms??? So very appreciated.

Sobim upgrading the headunit and all 4 speakers on the wifes silverado...my question is if i should buy the foam baffle or not? What is the point of it besides water protection? Also if the head unit says that the impendance range is 4-8ohms but the speakers i bought are 2 ohms will they fry? Or am i ok?

For this im going to compare only 18" woofers.. BTL N3 the king of SPL! This is the loudest subwoofer on the market that I'm aware of.. FS 51 - This thing doesn't go low!
