Before anyone asks, not the Blazer, but a Blazer. 12" sealed in about 1.3 cubes with a Hifonics Z600 on it. If and/or when Jake ever shows up on here he can vouche for what I'm about to post on. Tocatta (sp?) in B is just nuts. Unlike the previous generations of Mag's, there is no shelving off in the extreme low-end (the older Mag's would drop about 3 dB but keep that same level through the lower freq's). Has anyone heard the new memphis Mojo's? If so, how do they sound and what would/could you compare them to?

I have my 18" fi ssd running off a Sundown sax-1200d... I really want to upgrade or try something new, but I don't really want to spend tons.. If i don't get another 18 that can fit the box I already have, then I will probably just build a sealed box next. Some ideas i had but need input on are, an 18" xcon if I could find one used or a 18" btl used.. these could fit in my box already and use same tuning. OR I thought about like 3 SA-10's sealed? because someone on here has 4 sa-10s for sale.. But I dont know if sa-10s sound good/loud sealed, and are 3 sa-10s going to be much of an upgrade to an 18" ssd?.. I wish I could get like 3- 10" icons but noone has them used eve…

I'm looking for some expert advice from the makers of the drivers. About 2 years ago I purchased 2 18IBs. I built a IB sub in the ceiling and about 2 months later I sold the house and moved. Before moving I pulled my 18s from the ceiling and now they are sitting in my closet. The big problem is my new home is not conducive to the IB design (no basement, flat roof). So, the question is can I use the IB drivers in a sonotube design? If not, why not? If I did, although it may not be ideal, what should I expect? Any light you can shed is much appreciated. Richard

I have a buddy who is about to make a purchase and would like a w6. He's wondering if the 13w6 is worth the extra $90 on egay. I don't have any personal experience with them, so what do yall say? Were going to go with either the JL spec sealed or ported, whichever sounds better on the amp he bought. What do yall with experience have to say? Any help is appreciated. Randy

Hey I was wondering where and how can i get a recone in Australia for my IXL 12", as i blew it up a couple of days ago?? do you guys stock the IXL v.1 parts and do i have to send it to you guys to recone it, or because i actually bought it from Affordable Drivers (Distributor In Aus) can i send it to them to recone it if they have the parts?? or if they dont have the parts and you guys do, can you send the parts to them and they can recone it? or even can Digital Designs recone it for me with the right parts provided by either you guys or Affordable Drivers because Digital Designs are pretty major in Aus and they do recones here for their drivers so they'd know how to fix…

hey everyone, I have an Fi Q12, in a 2.2 cuft ported box with a memphis prd 1000.1, but i really want more truck space. So i was going to just get a 1.2 cuft box for my Q12. But the new mag seems very interesting. Will the new mag preform better with a memphis prd 1000.1 and 1.1 sealed box then the Fi Q12? Sell my box and fi Q12 to my friend who is in love with my set up and get a 1.1 cuft box and get the new MAG? or. Keep the Q12 and get a 1.2 cuft box thanks

Alright I'm new to the game of car audio, but currently my car audio system.... sucks, unable to hold any of the music I listen to at the loudness I want...expected of course but a new system is needed, and i plan to do the whole system from start to finish I chosen a receiver that seems to suit my needs already and plan to purchase it soon, but I am completely unsure of the subwoofer I want, I listen to rock, and A LOT of electronic (house, dance, etc) and that means I want my bass to hit hard but at the same time it needs to be fast and keep up with the fast past music i listen to. Is there a 1000w sub that is all around better then the Fi Bl in its price range? Post anything you may have had experience that you think would beat it in output and sound quality. This is just to see whats in my league or better.

The sub box is 2.0 cubic ft per sub tune at 34hz with Sundown sa 12. I've heard that with tunning below 35hz your lpf should be around 80hz or below! Any truth to that? And shouldn't the lpf slope play a part say if 80 hz was best is that with a 12db slope or 24db or does that even mater?

Hey guy, am putting together a system for my ride which is a 2003 dodge Dakota Ext. Cab. Am planning on running 2 12" sealed in a 2.5 cu.ft (Net) enclosure because am a big guy and I don't have the additional space to go ported. Am debating whether to go with the Incriminator Audio LI 12 or the Sundown SA-12. I will be running the Sundown SAX or SAZ 1200D amp. Am done with the Big 3 upgrade, and am using a UPS12-490MR battery to power my vehicle off of a stock alternator which is around 130 amp @ 3000 RPM, hopefully this will be enough to prevent dimming. Right now I currently have a Saturn Ion stock everything, my front stage is getting worked on just waiting on some tweeters to add and it will be complete so no need to worry about that. I am planning on getting a Fi Q or a Fi SSD. I am getting a 12'' I am pretty sure. I got a Autotek 1000.1 amp coming in the mail soon. I an aiming for LSQ but I would like some decent SPL as well. I dont wanna break the bank. Does anyone have any personal experiences with the Q and SSD? Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm looking for my first system! I want 2 12"s. I dont want to pay more than 250 a piece for each sub. I'm trying to stay under 1600 RMS for the two subs combined. I'm really choosing between 2 12" Fi SSD's, 2 12" Diamond Audio D6's, or 2 12" Alpine Type R's. I'm going to be putting them in a ported box as i listen to a lot of rap and hip hop. Which setup would be the best? Thanks guys.

Solved the problem by selling the MX & buying a mag again I bought another mag, turns out it was my exact same mag i had owned before mx. It got damaged(cosmetic) in shipping. packaging could have been better. but i'll live. No more mechanical noise at least woot. here is the difference

soo... i have since sold my 18" XCON and saz1500 since my alternator could not keep up at all. i will be getting a 320HP from DC. and maybe upgrading to a 270XP if that doesnt do enough for me. so, here are my plans: keeping my headunit (Kenwood HD545U) going to be using 2 SAZ-2500D's for which ever substage i go with. i know i will need to get a ton of SDS (sound deadener showdown) not quite sure on my front stage yet. i would like to stay passive. i dont have much room for custom fabrication. but i would like to keep my Hertz hsk165 components. maybe somehow add an additional set? if i go this route, i will get a Sundown saz100.4 Where i need opinions is my substage!…
