I have 3 18" ethos and was wondering if my eyes are playing tricks on me... 1 sub is moving more than the other two...all wire the same at 1.33ohms to a taramps hd8k 1ohm version. I took the subs out of the box today and coils look good nothing wrong with suspension. No noise coming from them all wire look good and multimeter reading are good to... Could it be the fact of me looking over my shoulder at a angle but even when I look at them threw the back hatch it still look like it moving more air than the other two

Ok Im torn between 2 diff. subwoofers. I have a 2010 civic coupe with about 8 cubes of trunk space i believe. I'm primarily looking into either a single FL Fi Q 15 or a Ascendant Audio Havoc 15. I'm planning on running this sub on a SAZ 1200D that im pickin up next month, electrical will be upgraded soon (big 3 bigger alt possibly & better batt.) & enclosure would be built later most likely roughly 4.5 cubes @ anywhere from 28 - 34 Htz. I cant decide which sub to get, any other suggestions would be appreciated. What I want are 1. Single sub 2. take roughly 1k rms without exploding into a fiery mess

So I'm not sure how much you can tell from winISD by modeling subs, but if anyone wants to help me out and model 2 sets of subs for me in winISD that would be great! Also, exactly what information can you get from modeling subs?

are the ixl 15s more of a spl sub? Whats a good amp to power it?

I have a question about ohms. a duel 4ohm L 7 and a duel 2ohm L 7, Iam running series parell. what is the ohm load at the amp?

I know I know versus threads suck, but whatever lol. I've been out of the game for some time and I am looking for a pair of 12s that can sound just beautiful but get down when I need it to. The ID Maxs are a bit more expensive but they have awesome reviews. The Qs I know can get loud, at least the older ones, and I always read they sound good but what in comparison? I'm looking to use 2kw let me know what you think!

I'm in the market for a new front stage and I'm thinking about trying a component set. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, sometimes dubstep. I'm looking at the Incriminator audio 6.5" components because they seem to have some good feedback and well in my price range. Would you guys recommend these to me? Or anything else you guys recommend? They will be in stock door locations. The 6.5s in stock location and tweeters in stock a pillar locations. Will be getting clean 100rms to each side. Currently I have the CDT classic 6.5" mids with 480 x-over and tw25 main tweeter silk and I think the T1 silk upstage tweeter. I was thinking of upgrading the mid with the M6 and upgrading the x-over with the ES-200 but I'm not sure because of how bad the midbass is on what I'm using now. My highs are nice and loud but I have no midbass. So while thinking about this I've also considered scrapping CDT all together and going with a Dynaudio 242 GT set-up or even Morel HYbrid Ovations. After looking into a bunch of speakers , i would love to get the Hetz but cost is way too much . i think i may go with the BEYMA SCK65 . Just wondering are they worth it being there made in China and i don't understand the 25rms rating on the tweeter , ? sounds very low .

So right now I have a hdc312 on a older nine.1 which is hopefully still around 1200rms... Inwas wondering if anyone knew if I would notice any output difference going to 2k like the sq2200 or maybe like a crescendo or something like that. This is all in a 350z.... ok i've heard all kinds of things about the W7 that its the best and also that it sucks. i've heard one and i liked it. what subs come to its level or are better than it in both SQ and SPL on the posts i've read someone wants to know about its performance but someone always brings up the price so when responding, the only thing i ask is dont bring up the price

Yes I have a audiopipe 1800 watt amp and 2 12" alpine type r subs the are 1800 watts peak and 600 watts rms at 2 ohm and I was told this amp was to powerful for my subs just need help in adjusting the leveles so I don't blow them any suggestions or help I highly appricate it thanks

My friend wants to purchase my 1.8 cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 30 hz along with my MTX amplifier that is rated at 400 watts RMS. He also wants to purchase a 12" Re Audio subwoofer. Which sub would you recommend to him if he had the setup I mentioned above? Would he be underpowering the SE while reaching full potential with the SR? He is not really into SQ as I am, but he wants his bass to be loud and extremely low. Which sub would be better off with 400 watts RMS? Thanks

Okay first of all please don't ask if i have electrical upgrades because yes i do. i Just want some opinions on subs and an amp to push them.. I'm either thinking of 2 15" SSA XCONS or 3-4 12" AA havocs. Probably 4. The xcons will be powered by a saz-3500d in AROUND 6 cubes ported tuned to around 28hz and the havocs 3 would be saz-3500d about 6 cubes ported tuned 28hz or 4 would be by a saz-4500d 8 cubes ported maybe 26hz .. I am looking to put either a 12" Bl or Icon in my 2010 4 door silverado, I am powering them with a aq1200d, and will be porting the enclosure to maximum recommendations, I will be trying to make an efficient box, that will require less power, which sub do you think is better?

After talking to Aaron from SSA I have made the easy decision to purchase an SSA Xcon 12" very soon. He answered all my questions helping me out a ton. I used to have a single 10 DCON sealed with about .7 ft^3 of airspace and loved it, just wanted a tad more output. I figured the easiest way would be to put 2 10's in a sealed box. The problem is I'm not sure if I have optimal room for it. I've got a 08 Passat that I want to keep the spare tire available which restricts my area for the box to against seats where the trunk curves in. Not sure if this would give me optimal enclosure for 2 DCONs. My next thought would be to put 2 8" subs instead. The best 8 inch subs I've seen are the Sundown SA-8. well i wanted 8's but i like spl. i have a 10" Jl w0 in a sealed cube and that thing slams. im looking for sum 10's that really slam but dont require alot of airspace. ive looked around and cant really find any that are under .75 cu. ft. im looking for sumthing thats under $150. so wats the best 10" sub that performs good in a small sealed box? thanks
