Well the killer deal I was going to get on some warden 15s is looking pretty grim. I mean killer too. So I need to make a new plan. roughly 10 cubes to work with if I build in the trunk Absolute max width is 38, hieght is 18-19. I will be using two atomic AT3000.1s so 6k + So I was looking at 3 12s trunk walled (buying a second D6 12) but fitting the ports is an issue But I'm thinking maybe 4 12s in a 4th? diamond says these sweet things only need 1.5 cubes ported per to be sexy, 1.25 will work as well. hey i just wanted to get the word out there about my system getting jacked and if you could keep your eyes peeled for a weird discription of the sub where there is no name and no identifying marks on them they are the first gen of 15s i am gonna kill some one soon but the seller shoudl be in iowa i woudl asume NW corner any info woudl be a huge help and anyone that wants to help kill them is more than welcome

Im tryin to see how come the mag will be to 2 12" pioneer ts w3000spl's. the mag will b in a 2 cubic box tuned to 32 running off a sundown saz1500d the pioneers are in a jeep cherokee in a 3.5 cubic box tuned to 36 running off a crunch 1500 Just tryin to see if the mag will be able to compare to the poneers. Which ones would get louder and lower and better sq?

What difference if any does the width of the port make? I understand the tuning and freq changes and all that but lets says you have 2 boxes size and build appropriate for 33 hrz. for 2 12's, if you could build the box with a 2 in wide square port, a 3 in flared port, or what is the down size to using a smaller port area say a 2 in round or a 1 in wide sq port. I realize that it would reduce air flow, but if you have the box built and the port tuned properly does it really matter?

just ordered 2 12" mags and a sundown 1500D can't wait to get them hooked up and hear all the hype surrounding these subs!

well i noticed today that my subs were sounding a little different. so when i pulled over and looked, one sub was out of phase and was flexxing ALOT more than the other. both subs are wired together at .5ohm to my aq2200..... what could be the problem???

Well I received it today and was going to use my garbage box to break it in. The box is very small and I don't expect good output or sq but it is just for break in. My question is, this cheap box came with plastic carrying handles that are recessed into the box and the sub wouldn't clear them, so I had to remove them. I now have two 3-3/4"X 2-1/4" slots in the box. Will this damage my sub? I don't plan on playing at high levels in this box.

Hey guys, New here, but looking to complete my sound system. I'm pretty set on doing Hybrid Audio Clarus components for the doors up front with 150W on them. I'm debating on the rear fill, so may just leave that alone for now. So with that said, I'm trying to match that setup up front and will be using a Pioneer 4200NEX HU. Im currently running alpine PDX series amps with One Alpine Type R 15. It's nice but not really as loud as I like it. The amps are PDX 1000-1 and PDX-100-4, The sub right now is in a 2 cubic foot box sealed. My question is, will i be able to fit 1 18 inch ascendant audio havoc in my trunk? I will be running the Sundown 1500 for this sub. Any thoughts or better suggestions would be great. Im not dead locked on the 18, I could also consider 2 15's in the havoc series. As you can see I have a 2002 lincoln ls, no spare tire or any trunk material in the car, So the entire trunk can be used. Will the 18 inch havoc be able to perform in this tight space?

Im strongly considering a 12in DCON S4 for my daily driver. My SA-10s are going to be moved to my Sonoma when its running, and I want to try something different for my daily (07 Altima). Ill get a Crescendo 1000C4 and bridge the rear channels for the sub, having 500rms on tap for it. I listen to mostly rock and techno, very little rap. I like to have more mid bass then really low end, but still would want it to get pretty low. Id like to have the LPF crossed about 100-120Hz. I currently have 2 mtx 4000 10's but i am giving them to my mom and looking to get a single 12 under $100 that i can port and send 350 watts at 2 ohms mostly for sound quality but also want it to get decently loud i dont care about fancy dancy looks just want a good sub...thnks

I'm sure everyone here has had those times when they just get bored and wanna try a different set-up. It's hit me too. Right now I have a 15" Mag D2 in a 3.25 ported enclosure powered by a Hifonics 1205d (putting out about 1000wrms@1ohm). I am trying to get rid of the mag to try a different set-up, I wanted to do 2-12's. I will have around $220-240 to work with, but if i can get away cheaper I will. Ok so i recently purchased a box caprice station wagon and I want to put a lot of subs in the back a demolish my opponents! So what do yall think I should put together? Budget is $2,000 for subs and $3000 for amp(s). I listen to alot of chopped and screwed rap music and like to crank it to the max and really slam, sq is really not an issue i just want it to sound sort of clean when im not killing my opponents and just straight cruisin.

I'm really looking for Sound Quality and getting super low with loudness a given as either should get more than loud enough for me. The vehicle will be a DD but will also be a show vehicle/ demo for my installs, maybe a couple competitions if i can find some.The largest dimensions I have to work with are 24" tall, 30" wide and 32" deep. i know the rms is 1000w but how would they do with 600wrms? im want to go with 2 10's off my RE12.1 and seen these look pretty promiseing. also can i get them in dvc4? or would 1 12 do better with all 1200wrms than 2 10's with 600 each?

I hear that TC produces subs for Eclipse. Assuming this is true, what similarities do TC and SS subs have with eclipse? The motors look somewhat similar. Just curious, thats all. I was set on buying some SA12s and a sundown 1200d, until I saw Lethal injections on sale here for 151 each. Which ones are better, SA12 or LI12??? I like low end bass on rap songs. I built a box for the SA12s, would the LI12s fit in 3.2ft at 30hz? I'm terrible with decision making when it comes to buying something!

Has anyone used these subs and if so what size ported enclosure have you guys been building for them i have talked to a couple different shops and have gotten several different answers but none of them are close to the same i have made my mind up that these are the subs that i am goign to use bu ti jus tneed to know what size ported box to build for them I really dont want to waste wood ecperimenting with different boxes and how much power have people been using on them I have also have heard several different answers on that as well some ahve said they put aton of power to them and some say be conservative if anyone had any info please let me know.
