alrighty... im building a new system for a friend of mine... he wants to compete in db drag.. its a 2000 eclipse gt v6 pushing around 450-500whp... anyways... ive got to decide which would be louder for the price.... i can get a single Kicker Solo X 12 and push it with the 1200.1... or I can get two L7 15's, which would be more suited for the amp... and both of which would be in vented enclosures tuned to probably low 30's... not sure yet... any suggestions? thanks -AcId-

More and more people ask me about recone kits. They don't know where or how to order (they don't speak English !). I've tried PAP for a Soundstream XXX18", and the owner was ot happy with it. I've tried PSI for another SS XXX 18", and so far so good the owner is happy (he did 150.ish last week end; with one sub). But he does not play very often. Just received another one for a Lanzar opti 15". Lot of people say PSI parts are bad, like PAP, and It is difficult to order something custom from Fi. Where do you order your recone kits ? I'm looking for a good manufacturer. I don't want any more problem with my "customers". What other choices do I have ? Thanks for your help.

Will be doing 2 in my Excursion so cubes arent really that much of an issue. Which one and why or suggestions of others not on this list but currently looking at RE XXX, ZCon, BTL or nightshade. Going to use Crescendo power 5500s havent picked mid bass or highs for up front either but going with a Pioneer double din more than likely. 2 Fi BL15, 2 Fi Q15, 2 RE SXX15, 2 SSA ICON15. which subs will be best over all in a mid size suv?

I have had weird issues off and on with my amp (teac 200.1) and my components( phoenix gold radials ran passively). little things like sounding muffled at start up in cold weather. I bought the amp on here a few years ago for $15, so no big loss. The other day i was involved in a fender bender and the power wire from the front battery to the back came undone. I didn't notice this until a few days ago. The tip off should have been that the sound deteriorated over the course of a week . Yesterday I took an old speaker and some wire and tested the amp and rca's for a clean signal. Left channel is dead and right is static-y. I said screw and attempted to run my components off…

I received 4 of these just before Christmas. I have been playing with enclosure volumes and let me tell you these speakers sound great!! I currenty have each of them in .0198 ft3 and they are working great! If anybody has any doubt about these drivers for the money, I don't think there is anything better out there (just my opinion). :clap:

They seem great. I still can't believe Mark's prices. You would never guess that they're $36 speakers by looking at them. They even came with grills and hex screws. I'll be installing them tonight. Hi everyone. First time post here. Long story short, I was really into CA back in the day. Got out of it for about a decade and now I'm back into it. So, I'm thinking of purchasing a set of the Bravox CS603CF to run as front stage and a pair of the CX60CF to run in the back doors of my Mazda 6 wagon. I plan to run them passive with the midbass of the 603 set in the stock location, the tweeter in the stock a-pillar location. If possible, I plan to make some type of bridge to mount the midrange over - or possibly next to - the midbass depending on how much room I have. ok i need some help decideing between my next setup. i allready have a RE12.1 amp rated at 1200wrms at 1ohm but i've seen bench tests showing close to 1500wrms, i have a 99 grand am and would like to keep the box around 3.5cf net. now my options either 2 10's ported 1 12 ported or 2 12's sealed. in all honesty i would love 2 12 mags sealed but as nick informed me their only come in dvc2 which won't work with my amp, well they will work but i dont think their output will meet my needs. so now that leaves me looking. so far im looking into ssa icons, audioque 2.5, aa arsenal, and re se for dual sub setup and AA havoc, audioque hdc, nightshade, and re sx for single sub setup…

Yes I have a audiopipe 1800 watt amp and 2 12" alpine type r subs the are 1800 watts peak and 600 watts rms at 2 ohm and I was told this amp was to powerful for my subs just need help in adjusting the leveles so I don't blow them any suggestions or help I highly appricate it thanks

im about to do a new setup for my single cab. not sure on the amp yet but im wanting around 1200 - 1500 watts depending on setup.ive considering doing 2 10 " SA SD'2's ported.or even thought about doing 1 " 12 SSA Icon ported. im limited on space but can make the box long and should be able to get proper airspace depending on what i go with. any opinions for me?

hey guys i'll be ordering my 15 mag shortly and was just wondering how this sub will cmpare to my old 16ov2 and e15a.I am looking for a good sounding sub that will get loud and easily handle my crossfire vr1000d(1000 rms at 12.5 volts).Any help is appreciated.

So today I replaced my 2 12'' Memphis c3's with a Xcon 15. I've been eyeballing this sub for a while but never had the funds to snag one. I ended up pulling the trigger, but with some hesitation. I didn't want to sacrifice any output moving from 12's to a single 15 and running the same amp. Well, after building a massive 5.75 cubic foot ported box tuned to 32 hz... my mind Is truly blown. I have my sub level at -15 out of 20 on my deck and this thing hits twice as hard as my Memphis c3's, on the same power. Sounds lightyears better ahead of those things also. I really am pissed that I didn't buy my xcon sooner... if your even contemplating buying this... don't waste anoth…

How big of a difference in SPL and SQ do you think there would be between a 15" and a 12" Fi Q. Would be in a ported box built to recommended dimensions. Oh, and powered by a Kicker zx1500.1 at 4 ohms for around 850 RMS.

The amp will do up to 550wrms @ 2ohm so i'm looking to find a subwoofer that will do well with that power, and would obviously need to be single 2 ohm or dual 4. I absolutely love this sub, but i'm just ready to try something new with more output, and all the affordable- to- me SSA subs that do well with this power aren't in stock yet. Hey, I just got a 15" BL in a a 3.6 cube box tuned to 33hz. It pounds and rumbles hardcore, but doesn't move enough air to make me happy. So I'm looking for some new setup ideas... My car is a 1996 Cutlass Supreme, so I don't have tons of trunk space. But I'm looking for something ridiculous that I can fit in here. Maybe 2 12"'s or something like that. I can proboly fit 2 15" in a sealed but I want ported So what are some ideas? I've looked at Orions and DD 9512 or maybe 2 13w7 even though there crazy overpriced. What are your opinions?

I have two 18'' zcons now and i have the stetsom 14k.... I have the astro van so the room is there but do i really NEED two more 18's? I know I WANT two more 18's but do I need to spend the money......
