So I'm starting my next system build that'll be going in a Toyota tundra crewmax. So far that I have lined up is: Pioneer AVH4300 Rainbow Germanium 6.5 comps up front ARC KS125.2 or ARC KS300.2 for comps ARC KS1000.1 for subs I've been out of the seen for years now and I need some advice on selecting a pair of subs that will compliment the front stage. My old setup consisted of MB quarts and an single Alpine Type R 10'. This old set up was in a Tacoma. So I'm limited on space but I'm willing to give up some leg room. i rounds sounds better but square hits harder, and do square subs tend to blow quicker??

Does anybody have experience Customizing TRF Motors? Im looking to create a low end monster with pretty good sound . It will be a 18" woofer thats a daily driver. Are there any particular parts I should request as far as layers to the voice coil or a certain size spiders? Im probably going to go through PSI and have it built.

Ok, so I did some thinking, and I think I'm going to go with you guy's opinion and just do a big mid an a tweeter. Decided to do 4 kicker comp 10s in each door, along with super tweets. Hey guys, I want to rebuild my 1803s with 5 or more spiders... be it very loose or very tight spiders to kryptonitewhite-proof them. When I replaced the AP30001D something amazing happened... the van started playing as it was supposed to. Most incredible amzing low end output. Air movement that no one would believe unless they actually sat in it, but if you did, rear-end leakage was destined to occure. I've currently got a Brand X audio BA18. I believe it's from a build house in the states that makes a Moab is it. I'm from the uk by the way. It's currently in a 4.5cuft box tuned to 30Hz with about 60sqin of port area. Although small it does sound nice. Just wondering what you guys would do with it. Ok you guys, decided I would try to put 8" Kicker Comps in each door, along with my cadance mids and titanium super tweets. For full-range sound in doors (lows, mids, and highs) it will be in a new sealed fiberglassed pod mounted to door. Any input?? I've heard someone use them (kicker 8') for their mids, so I thought id try em out. I;ll let you all know how it'll sound.

Hey everyone I'm looking for a system for my 1995 Ford f-150 single cab pickup and I was looking to get a single 10 in icon sub for it but I'm still undecided on what I want I was looking for something that would be more than enough for it but I'm not sure on everything I will need for it and was wondering if you all had some suggestions that would make it loud but also sound good.

Hey I'm getting a new car as soon as i get paid this month and I'm planning on getting some new stuff for it. I'm wondering about putting the Qs in a sealed box. Has anybody run them like this or maybe heard a sealed set-up? I'm really just wondering if they'll still sound good sealed up. Its also going in a Toyota 4Runner.

Hi I am thinking of purchasing off CL 2 SX 10's (12 spoke style basket) and 2 AudioPipe APSM-1300 for $400? It sounds like a great deal but wanted to get some 2nd opinions. Thanks... I just bought a 4ohm Lethal Injection 12" (just fried my old Polk momo) for my grand prix. As i type i have a sealed 12" box i got from a random auto shop a few years ago, i'm not even sure the cu'ft of the box to be honest. i'm really just looking for something to show off from time to time, for the most I run metal, but every now and then I like to jar the fillings in my teeth. :-) For the VERY brief time being it will be ran by a Sony XMGTR2022 amp that i've had for years. Hi, I currently got a killer deal on two 6x8 speakers (it was the speakers or wait to get paid back...) I was wondering if any of you guys know a nice simple tutorial, or just an easy way to install 6x8's in 6x9 slots. Also, I have stock speakers (pretty sure its non jbl with 6 speakers [06 camry v6 LE]) If I were to replace only two of my stock speakers for now, what would be the best way to go, back, front, etc?

I just sold my SA-12, and i'm currently looking for a new sub, I have a couple ideas. I want a 12' or a 15', i've been looking at several 15's, and i have about $600 to spend on it, i was powering my SA-12 with a Hifonics BRZ2100.1D. I'm thinking about getting another 12" I currently have the Q in a sealed box and love the response and how quick it is to catch everything I throw at it; I have a sax-1200 running it. But I'm looking for something new and a little louder. Is it worth trying it in a ported box before I sell it or should I just jump to the RL-p is this sub any better? I keep hearing good things about it. I listen to a wide range of music depends on what im diggin at the moment. Owned a w7 before and old re se and some other not worth mentioning. So far Q has to be a favorite.

i forgot i had this and found it in the closet. its got a small crack in the cone. what should i do with it. would it be worth trying to get someone to recone it? tried testing the coils and im getting all kinds of numbers sitting next to my icon thats waiting for a box to be built

These speakers have sewn on leads, and I cannot find out the wire size. I cannot find it on the website, and I have tried to Google it, etc. Does anybody know the wire size? IE: what gauge it is.

Bought a pair of Polk momo's and a crappy 1200watt Sony amp off Cl (100 bucks for everything), installed them they sound... ok i guess haven't heard a "Good" setup so I don't really know what to expect. Issue i have is the box they came in is terrible, the kid wired the subs directly to the amp and there is a massive hole where the wire terminal SHOULD be (Covered it up with duck tape). The box is rough I kinda wanna upgrade to a new one, i'm not familiar with whats best, some info i found said they do best with .88cu enclosures.
