I currently have 2 Kicker Comps 10" (lol, I know) running at 150 RMS each in a sealed enclosure. I have a Fi BL 12" on the way that will be powered by a Sundown SAE 1200d in a ported enclosure. Just curious as to how much of a difference there should be? Should be a lot, hopefully. I realize there is a lot of variables that involve this. But just ballpark it.

The SI website says that it recommends 3.5ft^3 tuned to 27hz for the 15" and that the RMS is 975w. Would it be ok in a 4.06ft^3 enclosure tuned to 34hz running off of a solid 1200w rms? Oh yeah....wuddup Denim?!

I have about $150(ish) to spend on a nice component set. They're gonna be going into a 2005 grand prix. I just wanna hear your guys opinions on what you guys would buy. I was looking at the bravox cs60k, if you have any experiences with these or any bravox in general let me know. If you need any more details then let me know.

I just got it from my uncle, it's an Orion 15", it says "The hott set-up" on the front, the sticker is pealed off the magnet so I have no idea how many watts it is or how many ohms the coil is, or even the model number. I'm not gonna try emailing Orion because the last time I did that, they sent me 7 PDFs that were all the wrong subwoofer, and then stopped replying to my emails. Anyone know anything about this subwoofer? I can post a pic if needed.

I'm buying a pair of FI N3's and can't find any info on them as far as enclosure size or any specs in general. Can't search since it's 4 letter minimum search so any info on them will be greatly appreciated. I'm undecided on wether they will be built into 15's or 18's, depending on how much box volume they require. Thanks guys

I was wondering if the spl subwoofer line by mach 5 is strickly for spl because I would like to use one in a daily setup. If you have one or heard one, what do they sound like? For example, could you compare them to say a Type R? I already know Mark's opinion, but I would like a few others

Its a down fire box and the speaker cut out is like 1/4" too big. Its 11 1/4 and the subs I have right now wont screw in because they screw holes arent furhter out than 11 1/4 for some odd reason. This is a box for 2 12s Its a downfire box so if I were to put a plate on there and do a new cut out Id lose some clearance. Any other suggestions?

i currently am running 2 12w7s in a sealed box and am not as satisfied with it like i was in the beginning, doesnt hit the lower end like i would like, but this may also be due to the type of box it is in. Should i make the trade for the 15 re xxx and $100, or just sell them for straight cash. opinions?

Time to upgrade! Right now i have Infinity Reference coaxials, and they were good for first speakers, but the longer i owned them, more i realized that they suck. I have 6.5s up front and 6x9s in the back. I'm not planning on buying new 6x9s cause i haven't read one post that is for buying them, or even having them for that matter. I also have a SDC2.5 12" sub and an AQ1200D amp. i have around $200 to spend and have list of component sets that i think look good......but I've only heard the Focal set, and i was very impressed! Definitely feel free to add speakers to the list. I want SQ comps, don't really care if they get loud.....as long as they sound good! JL Audio VR…

hey all..... i'm considering a pair of pbx 10's to replace my hpo's (they might be sold)... here's what i got... 500wrms@1ohm (memphis pr500d) about 1ft^3 per sub (depending on subs displacement), with a 3" round port 10 3/4" long (individual chambers..so that's the specs for each side..box already built and in use) about 6" worth of mountin depth....(might be a touch more or less...i'd have to remeasure) so will either of these work in my application? thanks ahead of time... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Wassup guyz, I am planning on getting rid of my aq hdc3 18 by Christmas and switch to either an xcon or a zcon. I will have 1500 rms on tap a saz 1500 to be exact, but may strap another if I go with the zcon, what I would lime to know is: is the zcon safe on 3000rms daily, will I lose a bunch of sound quality from xcon to zcon, and what would you guyz do?

Well, I received my MJ-18 last week and I am excited. I will be using the same size enclosure that Mark used on his Sonotube sub which is 8.8 cu ft. I've used lots of mdf in the past so the main enclosure will be made out of 13ply oak plywood with mdf bracing. I'm hoping to get started this weekend on the enclosure. By the way, how do I post pics? I don't see an attachment manager.

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. but I need help narrowing my decision down to one sub. I listen to NO rap, so big SPL isn't that important to me. I listen to alot of rock and metal, so fast, tight bass, ala Mudvayne, Slipknot, Korn, Tool, Seether.... So LSQ is what I want. Anyways, I want a single 12" sub that will probably be in a ported box. Not sure on the size, but hopefully not huge. Maybe around ~2.0 cu. ft. The amp i have is a Kicker ZX1000.1 birthed at 1152WRMS. K, here's my choices.... FI Q TC9 TC2000 TC3000 (little more than I want to spend, but if its worth it....) Which would be the best choice and why? Thanks!!
