Yep. Every 15" went out the door today at 4:30 PM. I'm going to do my best to get back to everyone through email tonight with the tracking numbers, but I can't make any promisses.

I have a JL Audio 500/1v2 & am ready to add my substage. I'm using an Alpine-CDA-9886 h/u & Image Dynamics CTX-65 components up front, powered by a JL Audio 300/4v2 (running active). I know JL Audio isn't very well liked around here, but I got the 2 amps lnib for $280. I originally planned on porting a single Sundown SA-12, but now I'm not sure. I can get a brand new Sundown SA-12d2 for $160 locally, or order a 12'' MB Quart RWE-302 from woofersetc for $70. I plan on porting either way, & I have a Grand Cherokee, so space isn't an issue as I've heard the MBQ's need alot of space. i know both of the subs i want are really good. i just dont know what subs i want yet. its either going to be between the ssa xcon 18s or the sundown 18s. im going for more spl then anything. which one would put up more numbers? this is what i plan on doing to my truck no matter what. i already have the entire cab sound deadened. i have 4 super big interstate batteries to power everything, big 3, dual alts. so which one would be the best option for me?

103 Days Til I Order My Subs.....But What Subs To Order? "Well Gee Mr. Acidik, why start your search so early?" because I am insanely indecisive, it took me about 2 months to pick out my amps. (2 Sundown SAZ-3000) So this is what is up. I am looking for 2 subs. Not sure about size because I have always ran 12s. What is the sound difference like between 12s and say 15s or 18s? I need them dual 2, and able to handle 3000w each with a budget around $500 for each sub, or close to $1000 total. Now, for a little explaining. We're going to have our logo at the top across the back (where your sholderblades are), which is what "SI" is in the poll above. The first option listed above is to put the text "Subwoofers" under our logo and then start the phrase below that. The second option is just for our logo and then the phrase under that. The phrase that we've decided on will take up the back of the shirt, it's not just going to be a little line on the back. So anyway, put "Subwoofers" under our logo or no? so it says 4.5 cu ft recommended for ported box for an mj 18. how would it affect sound and output if i was to do say...6.5 to 7 cu ft. each? tuned to 30hz? would i get more bottom end? more output? what...

Bought a 2013 jeep wrangler 2 dr a few weeks back, and it definitely needs some audio upgrades. have been looking at components, but still pretty new to them and looking for any advice or guidance on what to look for before I waste my money. So far i have been looking at the following. Around $200 Jbl ms62- seems to have pretty good feedback id ctx, cxs- mixed reviews sundown 6.5cs- not alot of feedback but seems positive other than a few "lacking tweeter" comments massive ck6x - Haven't seen much on these crescendo mezzo- not out yet, look good, but tweeter may not work with stock location on dash? I just sold my SA-12, and i'm currently looking for a new sub, I have a couple ideas. I want a 12' or a 15', i've been looking at several 15's, and i have about $600 to spend on it, i was powering my SA-12 with a Hifonics BRZ2100.1D. I want my next sub to be able to take that with ease. I've been looking at an Fi: BTL N2, Xcon 15' or 12', IA Death Penalty 12' or 15', or maybe even a warden 12' or 15'. I'm really just looking for a sub that will hit harder than my SA-12, its in the trunk of a hemetically sealed bmw, so it has to be loud in order for the sound to carry to the cabin because 80% of the sound stays inside of the trunk point is, I'm willing and open to all sug…

Well I'm bout to run 2 12" titaniums in my house for my boom box. But I will run them in my truck until I get my new wall built. Anybody heard bad things about these? I know about the surround issue but anything else?

I have a 95 s10 which im planning to put some new gear in. first i will be using the new brz3000.1D ( which is cea certified btw) it is 3000w rms at 1 ohm. I have enough room to fit 2 15" btl's, but i was wondering how much of a difference going with 2 btl 12's would be compared to the btl 15's? i have a 150 amp alt and i will be using the biggest batt. xs offers. Will this be heard from far away? I'd be running it at about 1200 watts rms and the box is the custom designed by Fi for the BL 15". Will be placed in sedan

Just keep in mind that this is going in the cab of a Del Sol. The subwoofer enclosure will be fiberglassed of course directly behind the two seats. The enclosure will consume literally everything rearward of the seats. I might own a very powerful amp soon that will be able to anihilate the 15, let alone a 12, or even 8's. So now my options are totally open.

Has anybody had any experience with the Hifonics OLM1612. I looking at them seen they recommend a high tunning frequency 40hz not really high but high for my taste, but has anybody had any experience with them at lower tunning 30-32hz..... and how did they perform on music, i listen to alot of slowed down music (chopped screwed) so really concerned on well they play low

HDC4 15.. Yes I know coil smell is not good at all but I am breaking these subs in with power now.. I first broke them in for a week with a nendo 2k at 20hz half power.. They are now on a CT sounds 7k. The amp is DD1'd and the subs bang really hard.. But I am smelling coil smell when i am at the DD1 max volume set. after a few minutes.. I back down the volume as soon as I smell it and have recently turned the gain down a bit more.. Just curious how long I will smell this during the subs break in period.. They are wired @1ohm also.. so I know I am not overpowering the subs at all.. There is barely 3k going to them.. Opinions?

Will some of the t/s parameters change after the suspension loosens up?

I have been out of the car audio game for sometime. One thing that has always been hard for me about car audio, is it is really impossible to say that brand x is better than brand y and that everyone has an opinion regarding their equipment or product line. Realizing that I also believe that there are products outside the main stream distrubtion that are equally as good if not better for less cost. This is where I want my journey to begin... I have ad 2 12's in a 2004 honda accord refiring. The sub brands were MTX 5000, Kicker Comp VRs, and JL 12w3v2s. (I realize this just dated my last setups......). I need to build a new box for my SPL 15 due to getting a new vehicle (2005 Jeep Liberty). I'm thinking of going 3 cubic feet NET tuned to 38hz or so with 58 square inches of port area. Will this work out ok or do I need more air space? This will be a daily set up and likely won't be used to compete so I want something that is loud and decent sounding. Power wise I will be using a RF T30001bd @ 4ohm. I was previously using a 4.2 cubic foot box tuned to 32hz and it was quite good sounding but lacking in volume. I figured this time I would tune higher and try a smaller box to save some space.

so i traded my pair of treo te 15's dual4ohms that i have beatin within an inch of there lives for a 2 week old fosgate t2 12 dual 2ohm that aint even broke in . but i got just the sub cause he didnt wanna come off his enclosure he paid $400 for so i gotta build an enclosure. so did i make an ok trade? this beast weighs as much as both 15's did in the box

Ok, I'd like to know something.. I read a recommendation of using a 25in^2 port tuned to 34hz. So I understand how to figure out the port size, what is meant by "tune to 34hz"? Or is that a statement, that a 25in^2 port will be tuned to 34hz.?

Hi all, I blew my old POS Kenwood after 3.5 years of beating the crap out of it, so its time for a new sub. My amp is a eD Nine.2 giving 400x1 @4 ohms or 200x2 @2 ohms. I need help choosing a new woofer that will work for my set up. I will be building a new box so ported vs sealed does not matter. Price is up to $250 for the sub. I would like to focus on SQ, but would like a lil SPL. I listen to hip hip/rap music so I need some deep bass fill to keep me happy. So far I am looking at the Image Dynamics IDQ, the Diamond Audio D3 and also the Sound Splinter RL-i. What are your thoughts on these subs? Are the others that you would recommend?
