Received my DR this evening, I think I was his last drop in my neighborhood. LOL So I opened it up and it is one damn good looking driver! Well it came with a users guide, enclosure recommendations, catalog and a IA sticker. Oh yeah and a sweet coozie for my DP(Doctor Pepper). This sub is so nice looking and very clean looking, no over use of glue or scuff marks anywhere. I am very impressed with this driver's build quality. So dropped it in my former Xcon enclosure, it fits great after filing down a little. My enclosure is tuned a little lower than the recommendation for it, but nothing drastic. Well the sound is amazing! So clean and crisp. I really am very happy with h…

i have a pair of 12" death rows.. and space is getting kinda tight if i have to account for a big slot port. so i was wondering if a pair (2) of 4 inch aero ports would be sufficent, or would i be better off just using 1 sub and keeping the port size up.. thanks in advance.

I have a Alphasonik PMA600HCA that is rated at 1800rms at 1ohm and I was wondering if one death row 12 would take the full power of my amp on a daily basis but I tend to turn everything down on the cd player unless I am showing off

So, I've had the sub for a little while now, and thought I'd post some pics, scores, and some thoughts. In the enclosure, built by thegreatestpenn, 3.0 net tuned to 30 hertz: The first time on the meter, at the headrest with the A/C on blast: The first time on the TL, I didn't get a pic of my dash score, but it was a 138.4. The second time, with the air off: On music (Flo Rida's Sugar): Trunk class results at the 1st show I went to: Now for thoughts/impressions/comments. First things first, it is really, REALLY, REALLLLLLLY efficient. I'm only giving it about 500-600 watts, judging by my voltage drops. To be doing that kind of score off such little power makes me…

Looking to build a box this weekend for a Death Row 18", 6.5 cuft, 90 inches of port area. Going to be a slot port, was wondering if it should be a 3" or 4" tall slot? Worried about wind noise (port noise) and tuning freq changing if the port is too narrow. Any advice? Should it really be bigger than 4" tall slot? Thanks!

So we had a USACi crank it up at the shop on sat. And just for chits n giggles i hooked up the IA DR18 to at PDX1000. The DR18 in question actually has a blown coil and the recones came in today so i'll be reconing it soon. I just wanted to see what it could do with that 1 coil on the TL mic under the dash, managed a 145.9. I was pleased. And thats with no battery in the back. Amp went into protection half way thru the run. So once i put a battery in the back and get the woofer reconed then we'll see what these beasts are really capable of. edit: This was in my honda fit btw. I don't know the specs on the box. I know it was pretty much thrown together. Its prett…

I am looking to upgrade subs and i have been looking into both the Death row and death penalty. Im interested in a 15 What would you compare a death penalty to?? And would it work fine in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or 3.0. And then what does the death row compare to and does it work in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or even 3.0. Also how do these compare against each other and can they both handle 1500 watts rms??

both of these look like great subs, both are listed as SQ subs. the biggest difference I can see is power handling. both cost about the same, so that is not a big issue. I will have a memphis audio 1100.1 (1100W x1 @ 1ohm) my guess is that the flatlyne will be a little over worked with that power level. but from a pure SQ aspect, which is better? open to everyones thoughts.

Hey a buddy of mine wants me to buy him a 15" sub since he doesnt have internet at his home. He has a kicker zx1500, and I was wondering how the death row would handle that kind of power. I figure it will be fine but its not my money so i don't want to take any chances of him blowing his sub. Would I be better off just getting him a fully loade fi bl or an xcon, just to play it safe.

Hey guys. I can't decide whether or not to run an Icon 12 or DR 12. I have found little information or reviews on the death rows. I was just wondering if people ever use them? It seems like it's either the lethal injections or the death penaltys. I was just curious why I don't see much of the DR's. Are they not worth the price? They look to be one hell of a woofer. I am looking to get one 12 and the Icon or DR fit the bill. I have 1000 watts to play with, and stock electrical. So going any bigger isn't gonna happen. What are your thoughts on the death row line of subs?

i have a pair of deathrow 12's that i thaught i would have room for. but it looks like i dont have as much space as i planned for. so i was wondering if any one has used these subs in a sealed enclosure (i know its not recommended) and how did it work out. or should i just use one in a ported box and forget about using the two?? thanks in advance

Just like the title says..... Did I buy the wrong Incriminator woofer? I bought 2 Incriminator Judge 18's to install in my wall. I have the airspace for them but I will primarily be using these for daily applications? Will they work for me? Ive owned the 2009 death row woofers will they sound similar or better or did I just purchase 2 burp woofers? should I be worried and try to switch my order?

I'm tired of racking my brain with how to fit 2 21" death penalties behind the back seat of my 88 s10 blazer 2 door, so I'm taking the back seat out! So here is my final question, sub and port direction? Subs and port up? Or subs and port forward? Or subs up port forward? Or subs forward and port up?

Im going to buy 2 IA death row 18's from a guy today. Everything checks out so far except one coil on one of the woofers is reading 2.8 ohms. Is that anything to worry about? He said IA gave it to him that way.

How does this look for a box plan. I am looking at going ahead and buying a 21in DP since I have plenty of airspace to work with. I also wanted as much cone area as possible that would be ok powered by my Saz-1500v.2. This would replace the rear seats in my 07 F250 and would be at window line. Goal is to hammer the lows, get loud as piss and sound good doing it. Will this work or should I change anything. Sub / Port will be facing forward. Around 10cu tuned at 30hz
