Well, I bought a DP 12 while SSA was having the Black and Blue sale in december. I've only had it installed and playing for a month and a half though. Well, the other day I noticed that there was a crease all the way around the sub on the inside portion of the surround. I've only had about 1100 rms running to it (it's a 1500 rms amp, but with voltage drop I know it's less). It's not even close to hitting the back of my passenger seat, and I've never put it into overexcursion. I emailed Nick today, so hopefully he'll get back to me either monday or tuesday. Okay guys, I just woke up from the best dream of my life! I imagined that I had two IA DP 21"s walled off in my Dodge Stratus running off of my SAZ 3000D. It was an awesome dream and I want to make it come true, I have the 3000D and am currently working on the electrical system to run it, I just need a few more batteries! Do you guys think it is even possible? I don't care about my back seats really...It's 4:45 AM right now, so I don't expect anyone to reply anytime soon.

Ok, so I'm new to high end subs like IA and AQ but ive owned a memphis mojo 12 and loved it but it just didnt hit all the notes like i wanted. So for my question, would a IA LI take 1000w rms at 1ohm? i know it says 600w rms but have seen guys use the SA1500 on it. I could run the Dual4 sub at 2 ohm and only run 600w to it but i wanna go to my amps potential which is the 1000w at 1 ohm. Anyone have input on it? the sub is in my price range and ive wanted to try IA for awhile now. thanks.

Now I have my 3 18's in a ported wall and thinking of trying a bandpass wall. I seen a few guys setup on YouTube with DP 15's in a 4th order and it looks pretty impressive but I know they aren't recommended to be in a sealed box. Thinking of going with just a 2 to 1 ratio and giving the 18's around 6 or 7 cubes sealed and as much as possible ported. Really want a low end monster that moves a lot of air for a daily setup that can play all music. Was told around 2 cubes sealed is about good for 18's just leery of going through this and it not working out. I have a basic plan for this box and would like some feedback on the port size and box size. Here is what I have so far, inside 17" x 17" x 30" = 5 cubes - .22 for sub and - .78 for the 8" port im thinking the port will be around 22" << does that sound right? should the box be bigger or smaller and is a 8" port the right size ? and what if I did a 6" port with the same box, what would that do? Im looking to get the most spl I can at 32hz on this one. Thanks for your input guys

So after doing some research and all I figured id install some speakers i bought a while back. @ the store Making the adapter mounted and about to put the speaker in. I have a gmc single cab ruck. I already have a bed cover and am planning on doing a full blow through (cutting out everything under the back glass) and replacing the back glass with lexan. My problem is that I want to run two dp 21's on a 40.1 but I don't think I will have enough room to run the two subs and the port into the cab. So my decision is probably gonna be between 2 21's with the port somewhere in the bed or 2 18's with the port blowing into the cab. Which of these setups would be the loudest for daily spl? If anyone has any ideas on another way to do this I am open to suggestions. Thanx in advance.

Received my DR this evening, I think I was his last drop in my neighborhood. LOL So I opened it up and it is one damn good looking driver! Well it came with a users guide, enclosure recommendations, catalog and a IA sticker. Oh yeah and a sweet coozie for my DP(Doctor Pepper). This sub is so nice looking and very clean looking, no over use of glue or scuff marks anywhere. I am very impressed with this driver's build quality. So dropped it in my former Xcon enclosure, it fits great after filing down a little. My enclosure is tuned a little lower than the recommendation for it, but nothing drastic. Anyone ever tried a 4th or 6th order for the 2010 line of Death Penalty 12? I figured for a 4th order do a 1.5 cubes sealed and 4.5 cubes on the ported side would do decent, but looking to see if anyone has ever tried it. I wanted to base it off a 100% spl setup with interchangeable ports to swap tuning to 32-34hz for daily.

Yeah did another video with the new headunit, you will see how you can adjust the angle on the radio. I absolutely love this radio, was going to sell it but JBLCAMRY gave me some pointers, and opened my eyes lol. Not bad for a single 12" sub, might have BJ build me another box, but something more complex, either way I am completely satisfied. Pushes a good amount of air for a crx style box, and gets pretty damn loud, but sounding good at the same time. Enjoy!! Please comment

Just want to let everyone know the new LI's and DR's are all most finished from the R&D stages. We will be doing some testing and shortly after start production. Expect these 2 new line ups to release right after CES! LI's will be 600 RMS and the DR's will be 1000 RMS. I'm currently working to have the DP 18's available about the same time, with the 21's coming right after. I've even spent this past week working on a new SQ driver code named Firesail. wondered what port area is normally used by the people with wardens, wanting to do some 8" aeros or 10" aeros but wanted an idea of the port area they like.. any pointers on this? Also would 10-11 cubes per work on the 21? 11 cubes before displacement of ports, but sub displacement is already factored in.

1) do I have to connect the 2 inputs like in the diagram, or can I just use one ? 2) I am assuming the 2 speaker outputs are in parallel, so connecting a 2 ohm load to each set will result in a 1 ohm load to the amp .... ??
