so i planned on turning my smoked dp 15 into 10", only once i tore in to it i have an older 08 model with the ia basket holes only (2 sets- 12 and 15, 18 and 21) cant fit a 12 spoke or a aq,dd,ab basket my question is, will the dr or li 10" baskets bolt up to a dp motor?

Can't seem to find any info on what people are finding to be optimal for the new DP 15's. I will be running one off of 1500 W and listening to mostly rap. Figuring 4 cubes after all displacements tuned to 32 hz. How much port area should I use? (3) 4" aeros (2) 6" aeros (1) 50 sq. inch normal slot port Thanks for any insite.

I am doing a design for someone and one of the designs i am making needs to be angled in a clamshell and i need to know the width of the magnet so i know whether or not the magnet is gonna be touching the box or not in the blueprints. As of right now, the depth is 11 59\64th at a 12.9 degree angle... I know that isn't good enough but once i have the magnet width, i can input that into the design so i can get the right angle and height for the equation i have.

Hello IA Teams, I am planning to get a new sub woofer next month. I would like to try your DP 12" I would like to know if it is ok to put a 2000watts amplifier to it? with stock alternator 70A and a D3100 under my hood? ( I will replace the stock battery and no extra battery in my trunk) do you think that I will be facing a problem in the future or my current electrical setup will damage my equipment? Is it also possible that I put it in a 6th order bandpass tuned in series? I listen mostly to rap music and I don't have any plans in competing. I will put it in a trunk, because I have read an article that one characteristic of bandpass is that bass sound will easily travel…

Nick/Josh, I had a question about the 187 15" with use of a passive radiator, the radiator in question being the Exodus Audio PR15. What volume enclosure would I want to use with the passive? If it's close to the current box I have (2.2 before displacement), what would I want to tune the radiator to? I'm asking because I would LOVE to have another 187, but without a better electrical, that's not going to happen and with a PR, I can keep my trunk and still gain the output of a similar ported box. Hey IA, I picked up the 187's today that you shipped to Indy, well packed, super clean looking sub. solid as hell. They carry your products, but perhaps have not played with them mutch. They were all over the 187 and said they ordered the Dp21"s , some real cool guys there at Sinister Auto Sports. Bear will be dropping the Cougar off tommorow for me to finish trunk. cant wait to get them in and give it a listen!

Alright, so I'm gonna build a wall in my integra with 2x IA DP 15's and 2x Sundown SAZ-3500D's @ 1ohm.... My question is this.... How will the Death Penalties hold up vs. 3,500+ watts rms to each of em? The box for both subs, is gonna be 8.255 NET vol.(after speaker displacement,port displacement , and bracing displacement ..... the port is gonna be 125.375" of port and tuned to 32.60hz.... I'm just curious how these subs will hold up? I'm gonna compete, but I'm also gonna daily drive, ground pound.... let me know what you think, and if you have had experience with this combo of sub vs. power??? Preciate it!!! Cheers

I have the chance to possibly pick up a pair of 21" DP's in trade for my XXX-6500D and was wondering if it would be worth doing. I got an Astro not too long ago and planned a pair of 18"s with the 6500D but then this offer came along. The 21"s need reconed, but the amp is 7/10 cosmetic and 10/10 mechanical and just clamped 4589 @ 1ohm on 13.8V during the competition saturday. I was looking around on you tube and what not at flex videos and dB numbers and am very unimpressed so far! Thinking may be I should keep the 6500D and run a single 18" on it instead? something like an RD HeavyWeight 18" to be more specific. Otherwse I would prbably run the 21"s on 1500~ each. …

so i pulled my dp yesterday, and to my surprise when i set it on top of the box none of the screws or the driver pulled over to the motor. usually this happens, so i put a few on the side of the motor, and to my surprise they were very easy to pull off. this is unusual as it is a pita to do usually. any thoughts as to why this happened and wnat to do??

I hope this type of thread is not against the rules. I love this sub its loud but not distorted at all imho it has good SQ also, Its in a ported box with 64" of port area and a volume of 4 cubic feet ran off of a kicker 300.1 amplifier. I ordered it from SSA it arrived in a week undamaged and safe. I just wanted to post this for anyone thinking of buying a good sub thats not gonna be super loud but loud enough to make your ears hurt lol. Once again sorry if this is against any rules. Here is a few vids of my Impala walled with 2 18's powered by a single IA 40.1. stock alt, 3 runs of pos, 3 runs of neg, 2 C&D 134 AH batts DC Power alt should be here in the next week or so 13 cube wall with 175 sq inches of port tuned to ??32-34 hz lol. not real sure on the tuning cause i wasn't real sure on the exact size of the wall....it hits the lows hard though

Hello. Right now I have just 1 12" lethal injection and I love it, but I want to upgrade to something even better. I'm planning on making a fiberglass enclosure for either 2 12" death penalties or 2 15" death penalties. I don't think I will be able to fit 18"s, but I haven't calculated my total volume yet either. How do the 12"s and 15"s compare? Is it worth the extra volume? 18"s? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi guys, I have 2 IA Sub. One Lethal Injection and a Death Row Series. I am trying to build a new enclosure for my Death Row Series. However, I can't seem to find the T/S Parameters for this sub. I badly need them for my enclosure design. The website does not have this info. Can any of you guys help me on this? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

This will be both upfiring in my hatchback (meaning this box will be laying on its back port up), the volume pre-sub is about 3.43cu and tuned at 31.7Hz, so I believe when the sub drops in it'll make it 3.27@32-ish? Do I have all this correct? I'm so incredibly stoked to buy this sub (although I'm just saving up for it now). Going to be pairing it up with a JBL bp1200.1 amp, probably with the dual 1 so I can hit 2ohms and not use the full 1400-ish watts that thing puts out at 1ohm.

I'm curious to know what numbers anyone is doing with them. Doesnt matter what type of vehicle!!
