Ok someone recommended me to look into the IA DP subs because I am looking for something that will handle 2k rms daily and have the ability to play low. My enclosure is tuned to 27~28hz and that's the tuning frequency that I like so how well will the DP's handle this? The enclosure is 8 cuft. thanks

Ok I am thinking about purchasing two DP 15's but don't know exactly which coil config. I should go with. Will the amp be strong enough for these at 1 ohm or should I get dual 2's and run the amp at .5? Thanks in advance for the help... Oh, btw, this is for a daily application that will be tuned to 30hz.

Alright, so I'm gonna build a wall in my integra with 2x IA DP 15's and 2x Sundown SAZ-3500D's @ 1ohm.... My question is this.... How will the Death Penalties hold up vs. 3,500+ watts rms to each of em? The box for both subs, is gonna be 8.255 NET vol.(after speaker displacement,port displacement , and bracing displacement ..... the port is gonna be 125.375" of port and tuned to 32.60hz.... I'm just curious how these subs will hold up? I'm gonna compete, but I'm also gonna daily drive, ground pound.... let me know what you think, and if you have had experience with this combo of sub vs. power??? Preciate it!!! Cheers

So I was cruising Ebay for fun and came across this... LINK! Looks like the sub has no gasket, and no holes for mounting? I have no experience with IA products. Can someone explain this for me? I understand that the guy probably lost the gasket, but where the heck are the mounting holes? I'm just curious It's also not a bad price for a shipped 21" Death Penalty if its all legitimate. Don't see used 21's for sale too often! Thought I'd throw it out there for that reason too. Thanks! ~Jake

ordered 1 of the subs on the 19th then the other yesterday.i have 2 saz1500d's for now but will either be picking up some saz3000d's or some saz2000d's when they r released. pics and a log coming soon!!!

Ok I got a box built got my 18" DP in and well here is the issue only songs that sound good on it is Trunk Bang and Counterfeit by young joc both very low songs. Box is 5 cubes tuned to 36hz IA DP 18" on a AB 400.1 at 1 ohm at 4k in a Chevy 2500HD 4 door 2 x 2400's 1 foot from amp 2 batteries up front, 250 amp alt, 2 runs of 1/0 back, 2 1/0 grounds. Nothing else is as loud as those songs I like Little jon use to be loud as crap on my 2 nightshade 12's but my box was tuned to 40hz then. I figured it would be close but it s no where even close to being as "loud". Any ideas? Maybe changing the tuning to be higher maybe taking it back to 40hz?

My buddy in the service is coming home from Japan and we want to know if he can recone his IA DP to work with his new amp. He has the new IA DP bought on the black Friday sale of last year. Does IA provide recons? Or do we need to go through a dealer?

hey yall, well i finally got around to checking the coils on the flatlyne 15 i picked up a few days ago. its a dual 2 running at 4 ohms to my amp. my amp (at 4 ohms) is 500 watts. the rms is 750 so y am i smelling the coils???? im adding a second 15 so them will both be getting 500watts which shouldnt be a problem. especially if i can smell them cookin at 500 on one sub. what do u all think. y is this???

Hi- So I finally took a video of my set up. It's a Lethal Injection 12" in a 2.5 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 32 hz on a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500-2 amp. Sorry the camera and my filming skills suck lol. Some day a pair of death penalties will be going in.

Yup, only getting around 700-750rms, box is 2.5 @ 32hz Fisher Customs box. Song is Coffee Shop! Enjoy

I get asked daily, how to figure ports, etc. So I thought it would be easier just to write some software that would do all the work for you in a simple to understand program! What also makes it cool, is it will figure backward Length To Hz so if you got an old box laying around it will tell you what its tuned to! Just want to let everyone know the new LI's and DR's are all most finished from the R&D stages. We will be doing some testing and shortly after start production. Expect these 2 new line ups to release right after CES! LI's will be 600 RMS and the DR's will be 1000 RMS. I'm currently working to have the DP 18's available about the same time, with the 21's coming right after. I've even spent this past week working on a new SQ driver code named Firesail. Does SQ and IA go in the same sentence? I know SPL and SQL does......Hmmmm....Bring on the sealed boxes for once! Expect rated power to be in the 800-1000 range. hy guys...in your opinion...what do you think,the Warden from specs and motor point of view is in the same spl class woofers with the DDz...so i would like to know for example...can a 18" warden keep up with the DD 9918z in a spl comp???

I was just wondering if IA woofers come with the T/S parameters spec sheet? Like packaged in the box? Does anyone know?
