ok so basically my 15" death penalty doesnt work anymore i think the coil unwound or something. so im going to send it in to get reconed when i get my taxes. im thinking about getting it reconed as the 21" version. im planning on building a new box for it and i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. the box i am looking at building as of right now is 40Wx33Dx16H it will have the vent and sub firing up and have a total volume of 9 cubes 8.6-8.75 after displacement. it will have a 3" wide vent that will be 38.5" long which will give me about 115 in^2 of port area and be tuned for 36.2 hz. ps it will be in a trunk. im am not sure if i should tune it lower or if 36 hz …

I presently trying to get rid of two Q's and wanting something that will get loud and sound good doing it. The Q's got low and am also wanting a sub that can impress on the low end. An thinking about either two 12" Death Rows or two 12" Re audio SXs. What do you guys think?

What are the specs of the Flatlyne coil? ID, OD, WW, FH? If they fit in with the driver i'm building would you be willing to sell a pair? Courtney

ok so im i finally have the amps and the alt and a few batteries so its time to start the build,my only problem is i have limited port area, i wanted to do 9 cubic foot per sub(36ft3 after sub and port displacement) with port at 16sqin per cube which comes out to 576in2 port, upon measuring i found that my maximum port area can only be 477in2 which is almost 15in2 per cube at 8ft3 per sub(32ft3 in total before the displacement. so really what im wondering is would i be better off to just do subs up and port backwith virtually all the room i need or go ahead with a slightly smaller wall than what i wanted, oh im tuning it to 32hz so if that helps either position better tha…

Ive been looking into buying a new sub, and have been looking into the IA death row 15., but have not seen much on them. Has anyone heard them or know where i can find a review etc? I have 1200wrms to work with, not to particular about SQ, but it will be a daily driver setup. I guess i just want to know what people think of them and any input would be appreciated. thanks

Ended up doing a 157 and some change with this setup. It is all ripped out and a more manageable setup is in it's place. I will however be starting the new full size van build soon, will be my 159.9 bassracer for this year. Expect to see a shit load of 21" Death Penalty's, IA ftw!!

hey guys, i am currently in line for the free enclosure deal with audibel customs. i have decided to go with the lethal injection. first question, if i got a AQ1200d and wired the sub at 2ohms, would the 870rms watts be too much for the rated 600watts? i want a daily set up where i can pound for 20-30min without having to worry about toasting my sub. i could wire it to 4ohms for 570watts rms if the 2ohm load is too much for a daily set up. im open for other amps in the same price range ($250). second question.....i am planning on getting a single 12' and putting it in close to maximum specs as far as size goes (anywhere from 2.25 to 2.5). i have been playing around …

I was wondering how does the old dp look vs the new dp? Idk which one i have thow. Was the older a copper coil or a aluminum?

Long story short - My car was in shop and amp came back fried. I believe that two of the FET's need to be replaced. Where can I send the amp to get repaired properly? Someone told me a while back but I can't remember who they said to send it to. 6 months without it is starting to drive me nutz!

hello, i have 4 dp 12s on the way and was wondering the T/S's. also, outside of warranty information, how much power can these take daily, im guessing a good amount due to 8 layered aluminum coil and the cooling design u guys invented. can they take as much as an MT or BTL. looking to use these subs for bassrace. thanks again

is there any 10" baskets that will bolt to a dp motor? are the holes in the way to drill it out to fit a 12 spoke or any other 10" basket? looking to turn a 15" dp into a 10" for an 03 deville rear deck ported thru the armrest install

Hey IA, I picked up the 187's today that you shipped to Indy, well packed, super clean looking sub. solid as hell. They carry your products, but perhaps have not played with them mutch. They were all over the 187 and said they ordered the Dp21"s , some real cool guys there at Sinister Auto Sports. Bear will be dropping the Cougar off tommorow for me to finish trunk. cant wait to get them in and give it a listen!

ok so i bought a 40.1 from a guy on ca.com about a week and a half ago.. today is the first day i actually took the amp out of the box and hooked it up. as soon as i got everything hooked up, i triple checked everything before hooking the power wir(s) to the battery, everything was correct so i turn the key and POP there went the amp...it does that everytime i turn the key, the power light will come on for about a 1/2 sec then it pops and goes into protect. it pops on the end with the rca input's, i have NEVER had this happen to me so i'm curious what might of happend here. Anyone have any ideas? ALso, where is the best place to get this fixed?

Ok, now that I've seen this driver (FL12). I can't decide which one I want. Purely for SQ, which do you all think would be my best choice? Not sure of the inductance on the FL12, but the Mag is .8.

Hey guys, im just wondering how the jl 12 w6 goes up against a Deathrow 15 output wise. Im just trying to get an idea how loud a deathrow will get haha. Lets just say they both have the amps that is recommended rms for them.
