Ok, so right now I'm running 2 20.1's strapped at 1.5dcr daily and burping at .375dcr. This is on 2 DD3515's w/ 3 Deka 9a31's. I'm pulling my current box out tomorrow (was doing 53's). Will be rebuilding and going w/ a smaller box. The 20's are doing good, but I can't help but think...would a 40 do better? I have never played w/ a 40.1, so I have no idea what they are really like. So, what do you say?

Can a 20.1 operate safely for music "ie bass race or drive by" @.35 ohm on a 16+ volt system?

Will a massive audio 3000.1 push 2 DP's?

this amp is by far my worst enemy because of it I need to get a new head unit or cd changer it has so much power I can't get a good 30sec. with out my hu skipping like mad. THANKS IA

I just got a 12" DP (2008) and im going to be giving it around 3500rms from my 5082hx. what kind of box size would handle that power the best and what tuning should i be after?

what size fuse do they need and does anyone know the average curret draw at one ohm load probably 1.5-2ohms reactive. Thanks for any help I can get.

When strapping a pair of 40.1s do you have to change the phase of the slave amp?

Nick- Do you know of any shops in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area that can repair a 20.1 amp? I would prefer to send it to you as no one knows them better than you. I sent you a few emails but just in case you didn't get them can you reply back to brandon.nicholson(at)dot(dot)gov. I'm not for sure what happened this time. It looks as if the power supply may have went out again as the same pieces on the outside edge are burnt. Before I installed the amp this time I had all the wiring re-done professionally. I'm dying without my baby lol. Bass is my Anti-Drug lol. I just received my tax check so repair money is sitting and waiting. Thanks

wondering the best place to get a 40.1 repaired, it was randomly going into protect for a little while, i tried to make sure all connections were clean and no wires were crossed and as far as i could tell all was ok(its in a hard to get to spot) well the other day it was pretty much stuck in protect so i shut off the sub out on my head til i could get somewhere to disconnect the remote turn on, guess i waited too long cause it smoked, whole car stinks.... so i need to know if u have a recommended repair person or should i take it to a shop in town that has repaired other amps of mine in the past. this was depressing. when it warms up a little i will pull it out and see if…

I'm getting a 40.1 and would like to know if there is a matching 4 channel?

Alright.... here's the deal. I got an IA 20.1 off of the ca.com forums. When I get it it has the following problems, The problem is its randomly going into protect. I resoldered the piece that was disconnected above, I'm assuming it was from the power supply. It doesn't do it often, and it clicks out of protect within about 10 seconds. Is this something that you can fix???

has anyone bench tested on of these I have heard on other boards that they compair in output power to a DD Z1 even though they are rated @ 3600 is this true? thanks

I know the cones aren't ready for the 21's yet, but the baskets are there, so what's the cutout sizes on both of those, so I can decide which one would work best for my situation?

Well, after lots of thought and consideration I decided to scale it down a bit for this year. Too many things going on with the new baby and new promotion at work. But I just couldn't walk away totally, so here's a thread to chronicle exactly what's going down over my way...... for anyone interested that is! hello, i have 4 dp 12s on the way and was wondering the T/S's. also, outside of warranty information, how much power can these take daily, im guessing a good amount due to 8 layered aluminum coil and the cooling design u guys invented. can they take as much as an MT or BTL. looking to use these subs for bassrace. thanks again
