Anyone ever tried a 4th or 6th order for the 2010 line of Death Penalty 12? I figured for a 4th order do a 1.5 cubes sealed and 4.5 cubes on the ported side would do decent, but looking to see if anyone has ever tried it. I wanted to base it off a 100% spl setup with interchangeable ports to swap tuning to 32-34hz for daily.

I had heard about a year ago that you guys would be giving the Lethal Injections a face lift sometime around the end of 2012...I was wondering if there were any updates on this front?

  6. I currently have an 18" IA Death Penalty and had it on a Hifonics Brutus 2100.1 and I now have a new vehicle and am looking to run two 15" IA Death Penalties, but was curious on what type of power they actually handle and what people have put to them and how well they take abuse. I was thinking about the BC5500 Crescendo amp @ 1 ohm on the two 15"s is that to much for them honestly? I have a 320 amp alternator, & extra batts. So my electrical is decent. 12v setup. Thanks for your input & time, if you can please show me a video of your setup to give me an idea on what type of power you do daily, thanks.

I have a basic plan for this box and would like some feedback on the port size and box size. Here is what I have so far, inside 17" x 17" x 30" = 5 cubes - .22 for sub and - .78 for the 8" port im thinking the port will be around 22" << does that sound right? should the box be bigger or smaller and is a 8" port the right size ? and what if I did a 6" port with the same box, what would that do? Im looking to get the most spl I can at 32hz on this one. Thanks for your input guys

Has anyone seen the new warden yet? I have asked my dealer for pics and asked in the thread right under this for pics(which got closed right after I asked). I am interested in them, but I don't know anything about them at all.

I am not trying to be rude by any means. I pre ordered the Wardens a couple months ago, paid in full, knowing that they were supposed to be here by the end of the year. I called IA for an update a week or two ago and they said the price of neo is to high so they haven't bought any yet and they have no eta at this point. I am kind of frustrated by it since I was told I can't get a refund or switch to a different product or even a different size of Wardens. It kind of seems like bad business practice if you first tell someone who is paying for the product when they are going to be building the product but then say they are going to wait for the price of neo to drop before t…

So my friend Roger decided to throw his LI 15 dual 4 in 3.0 tuned to 30 and his APSM-1500 @ 2 ohm into our friend Kyle's 2001 Mountaineer for giggles, and asked me to put it on the SPL Labs. Results were not shabby: 134.10 on Air Forces 134.66 on a 43hz tone This was with stock alt, battery, and a shitty Walmart wire kit. Just wanted to share the results. Not bad for a amp/sub/box that's less than 400 bucks

  20. I saw in the recommended thread it says: closed 28.3 - 39.6 liter This converted to cubic feet is 1-1.4 cubic feet. The displacement of the driver is .13 cubic feet. Does the recommended capacity include the displacement or I need an additional 1-1.4 cubic feet resulting in 1.13-1.53? Also, do you have any recommendations on where to buy said enclosure?

I got 2 21" death penalty subs. Anybody got any recommended 4th order box designs. I got 24 cu ft to work with. I was thinking of doing each sub in 2.5 to 3 sealed and 9 ported. And tuning the ported section to around 50 to 55. Let me know if you got any other ideas. I am looking for some better Spl numbers on music. Dont need it to play much under 30hz. Most stuff I listen too is around 35 or higher.

  24. I don't think its blown because it doesn't do anything at all no noise. I checked my amp with my other subs and it works fine..I was only putting ~1200 rms to it so I don't see how anything could have went wrong.. I had my 2 ohm sub wired down to 1 ohm on the amp.

  25. I am planning on buying an 18" IA Death Penalty and putting it in a box I made that is: 45" width 15" depth 25" height 6" port tuned at 29hz Throwing a ZX1000.1 amp on it until I upgrade to a different one. What you all think? its in the back of a toyota corolla 97' tore my back seat out for my old build and decided it was time to get my first 18" sub.
