I know this is a dumb question, ive never claimed to be smart. When it comes to subs ive always been a pay and play kinda guy. I want to learn more about car audio and how to do all of it. So ive recently started building sealed boxes. The three ive built turned out really good in my opinion. The problem I have now is, im building a box for myself and i want to port it. I have 2 LI 12's. Any advice anyone could or would give is greatly appreciated. The specs for an LI 12 is on average 2.00 cubes, 30 inches of port and tuned to 28-35. Went to a local competition this weekend and have a few issues with the subs. First off they are in a 12 cubic foot wall with 210 sq inches of port for burps. Amps hooked to them were 2 AQ 3500s strapped at .5 ohm rising to 1.9ohm clamped at 6500, I went to burp at the show and did a 54.8 my first burp and a 55 my second burp. Decided to test door open about 10 minutes later burped for 3 seconds and did a 58. Went to try in the passenger kick panel door open and they started making a funny sound. Checked the impedence at the amps and its 1 ohm when it was .5 ohm a little bit earlier. Do you think I unwound a coil? The sub sounds funny so I unhooked the amps, but won't hav…

I had a li15 awhile ago but I think I clipped it or something but it started smoking and just shat on me. Would I just need a recone for it work again?

As a almost daily visitor to this site i was just wondering how come in the majority of build logs i mainly see the other apparently more popular brands like ssa , sundown , dc audio , Fi & even recent newcomer skar with occasionally DD , AQ , AB , mmats threads scattered here & there but very few with IA subs\speakers\amps i havent used all the brands but i do have some experience with IA subs & imho they are very well built , have huge output & sound great too , i guess they can probably stand toe to toe with all the other more famous guys so why isnt it as popular as the others or is it IA owners are simply not posting up their builds here ?

New to this Forum,tryin to get a lil help or info. I'm looking for a simple vented box design for a IA DEATH ROW 15"....if anyone has built one before I was lookin for the measurement layouts for the enclosure and the vent if possible. pics appreciated..thnx

My original plan of running 2 Crescendo BC3500d amps to my 2 Death Penalty 18s fell through. Now I am in need of an amp. What is everyone pushing to there Death Penaltys? I was wanting a strong amp that can do .5 or 2 ohm for burps and 4 ohm daily. The reason my idea of the 2 fell through is because it was turning into a huge hassle to run 2 for burps and unhook 1 to run the single 1 daily. I seen wiring nightmare written all over it.

I just bought a used 21" warden from Mr. Bojangles. He's got 1 left still. I'm going to need help designing a box. I have an 03 trailblazer lt that its going in. I also have a crescendo bc2k that I'm gonna run at 2ohms because the sub is a D1 until I get a xs 3100 then ill drop it down to .5 ohm. I'll have a deka 9a31 up front and the 3100 in the back. I have the big 3 and a stock 150 amp alt. My max dimensions are 44w x 27d x 21h. hi I wud like to buy a 15" IA Flatlyne for daily sq use but i notice there isnt any IA Recommended Enclosure Sizing for it on their website or on here - can nick or anybody at IA or here give a recommendation for a very flat sealed response ? i need to know before i order it space & amount of amp power is not an issue , those will be dealt with accordingly afterwards thanks guys
