Upon opening the Damp Pro box first thing I noticed was the nice wood roller and sample of the old Damp Pro. As I picked up the sample, first thing I noticed is how much thicker, stiffer, and stronger if felt compared to my Stinger Road Kill Pro. I was very impresses with the Damp Pro already and I hadn't even pulled out the new stuff yet. As I start taking the deadener out of the box, I noticed how a whole sheet 20"x12" can support it self without much help at all. Ok, to start off. I just installed two 10AQHDC3s in my truck powered by a saz3000d. Im loving how loud and strong the bass is but im having trouble enjoying it really. Im getting lots of rattling and roof flex. I was wondering how many sq. ft. of Damplifier Pro would be needed for my truck. Its an 02 gmc sierra extended cab. I have read through alot of forums and all seem to say SS is by far the best deadener but I have never deadened any vehicle and not sure what I need. Thanks for any and all info. Also how many layers and where.

Just wondering how many sq ft there are in the pack. The website says 20sq ft. However, I just got mine today and it had a sticker on it saying 36sq ft. That sticker was covering an original 28 sq ft label. So how much dampening do you actually get in one of these packs? I haven't measured it myself due to the extreme laziness. Was hoping someone could chime in.

Hi when looking at Second Skins site I noticed they are offering a presale on Alpha Damp and I'm very interested in buying this product because the estimated release date is right around my birthday. Before I jump in on this presale I have a few questions that can hopefully be answered. First I noticed that this tile is .6 mil thick but has a .1 mil thick foil will this still be better than Damplifier Pro for eliminating flex and internal noises? I'm interested in using one of these for the back of my truck around the solid window where there is a lot of flex and noise when i really turn my music up.
