What up fam? Just wanted to get a feel for how many are certain to attend Slamology this year & who may be coming. There is a team discount of $5 off per person for preregistering 15 team vehicles by April 15th. The information for registering & directions to the venue are @ slamology.com. Let's have an IAK takeover again this year I know 100% I'll be attending & fairly certain my oldest daughter will also be there with her vehicle/small system. I'm pretty sure mama chop & chop will be attending as well with each of their vehicles.

Just a place to shoot the shit that is on your mind while intoxicated Sittin here drinking Crown Black & coke thinking about the club. We have had some ups & downs over this last year but family has stayed together & that is the base of our club/family. We always know we are here for each other in whatever capacity we have available to us. Growing pains are a part of life but with a strong family base we can overcome whatever is thrown at us. I am proud to be a part of something as meaningfull beyond a car audio level. I sincerely would do anything within my power & ability to help any one of our members ......end half drunk love fest. Well we haven't had a real meetup for a while and spring is now here with a new season to be underway... Maybe we should meet up here soon? Get our goals and established with everyone and here everyones new setups. I know they have pretty much all changed since the last time we met up. Just throwin it out there. 1991 Chevy Caprice Classic 305 V8 w/ 125k on it very basic ride, for now. i plan on tracking the build with plenty of pics in the upcoming months. in short, plans are a ho alt, upgraded battery under hood, big 3 electrical upgrade, (brands?) power wire will likely be dual runs of 0/2 gauge, additional battery in trunk.... 7" fold out head unit, (brand?), upgraded speakers in front doors w/ amp, (brand?)..... wall behind seats, not completly to b pillar though, for ride comfort of partially reclined seat.... sound deadening up front for sure.... 5" gorilla lift kit ..... not sure wheel tire package will change for a while.... 22" likely car will be two toned in primer...…

Hey, long time no see Got myself a new ride beside First gen probe. BMW 525TDS, 98 year with automatic transmission. Leather interior, 17" original wheels, electric windows and roof, electric mirrors etc.. Have to fix some cosmetic issues, i am missing chrome strip on rear door at driver's side. Also have a little bit rust on trunk and front wing. And there is much work on audio system... But here are some pictures:

Ok IAK Fam.... It's the Holiday time again! After Talking with Chop about a yearly program I was envolved with last year to Sponsor a Family for Christmas, He wanted to get the IAK name out to the community. 4 children and parents who lost everything and had to move here from TN. They are living with grandparents right now. They came to Indy with 6 trash bags & 8 boxes of clothes & papers. No vehicle, no jobs, no income. They can benefit from grocery cards as well as toys & clothing/shoes for the kids. Since i don't know every single song in the world, you can help me help you. Since the cd was such a hit, i need\want more music. So, post in here what you'd like to hear modified... I'll listen to it quite a few times and if i get that rhythm in my head for the song, then i'll do it, otherwise i will not. I can't guarantee i can do any song because some songs will sound bad with basslines in them.. Currently some ones i'm lookin into- AC DC- Thunderstruck Billy Squier - The Stroke It doesn't matter what genre it is.. even if it already has tons of bass in it, if u think it can sound better, post it here.

Hey gents, Chop had approached me a while ago about making a demo track for you guys... I'm always down to take on new projects, and the purpose of this thread is to get some ideas from all of you on how you want this track to turn out. It will most definitely be bass heavy, with a grab bag of frequencies to satisfy any tuning you guys might have. I want it to showcase not just the lows, but the mids and highs as well. We had to add some personality to asap....lol We had Mike,(DD9915D!!!), at Excessive DB's go through and upgrade the alarm and factory sounds. He installed an Excaliber alarm with all the bells and whistles, (punn intended), including the remote start, just in time for the cool weather.... it is definetly a loud alarm for sure.... We had the factory head unit replaced with a 7" touchscreen flip up to compliment the 5 flip down in the rear(factory) Mike carries American Bass so he was able to give us a sweet deal on the equipment....…

I just joined this site but ive been into car audio for awhile. my buddy DblBelly set me up here. went to school with him. my current set up is 2 cerwin vega stroker 12s..the old style the 122s. runnin off a hifonics brutus 2000 in a ext cab s10. the subs are starvin for power right now because they are only runnin half of what they need. i got out of this stuff for awhile but im getting back into it again. im getting ready to do a rebuild and ordered all my 0 gauge wire n all that. still savin up some money to upgrade amps and the alternator. im building a new box along with everything. thinkin about tuning it to 36 hertz. im interested in getting into IAK. Sean/Shizzzon is going to be loading a 8gb flash drive for me full of his music. It will have the IAK 1&2 music, sweeps, tones, & new material The purchase of the flash drive & one day to load it is the catch. It's estimated at $10-$15ea & we need a count of how many would like one prior to him coming up Friday afternoon. He is working fri before leaving so he needs to know TODAY! First thanks to Shizzzon for helping me and supplying the meter. I wanted to test it as it sits. We didn't do any testing with positions, change amp gain, etc. Everything is set pretty low as of now due to partially my electrical and me starting on the conservative side until I get a better feel of it. Noone makes an alternator for my truck so I will have to do a custom bracket to mount one. Enclosure is a 8.5 cf3 tuned to 29hz or so with a 18 Fi Q on a sundown 2000d. It is in no way built for numbers, just wanted to see where it is to start with. We played with some tones to find the peaks and went from there. Enough jabber here is what we found.
