Well, basically Chop and the family have been going through some rough patches with his mom healthwise. I just wanted to start something that would try and keep his spirits up and let him know we're here for an ear to listen or whatever is needed. LOVE YA BRO!!!!---you know the number/anytime

We had to add some personality to asap....lol We had Mike,(DD9915D!!!), at Excessive DB's go through and upgrade the alarm and factory sounds. He installed an Excaliber alarm with all the bells and whistles, (punn intended), including the remote start, just in time for the cool weather.... it is definetly a loud alarm for sure.... We had the factory head unit replaced with a 7" touchscreen flip up to compliment the 5 flip down in the rear(factory) Mike carries American Bass so he was able to give us a sweet deal on the equipment....…

I'd like to toss up some thanks to Chop and the rest of the Iak members. After enjoying the family atmosphere of the IAK and missing what you guys have back were your located I have formed a West Coast Meca team for this season. Our name is Flex Issues. Currently the team consist of 10 members running the following classes. S2, S3, S4, S5,M3, M4. We are defending 4 state records DB 4, M4, S5, and DB5. I can't defend my AS record because I had to move up! However we may get one of the wife's to enter and defend for the team. We have so much still to learn still. Ok team, Chop and I have talked a little about getting some hoodies done with airbrushing. I'm looking to get an idea of how many people (family members including if you like) would be interested and what sizes to look for. We are going to have them just plain black zip ups with airbrushing done by a local guy. I'll be pricing them out over the next week or so and try to get a total for the hoodies and artwork within that time as well. Anyone interested please leave the number of hoodies and sizes on this thread so that it will be readily and easily accessible by myself or chop. Okay, here we go. The official Team introduction thread for IAK members. I would guess we should drop a line or two about who we are, then a little about our ride and goals for this season. Without turning each intro into a build thread but remember most importantly... A speacial thanks to SSA for letting us have this privelage.

1991 Chevy Caprice Classic 305 V8 w/ 125k on it very basic ride, for now. i plan on tracking the build with plenty of pics in the upcoming months. in short, plans are a ho alt, upgraded battery under hood, big 3 electrical upgrade, (brands?) power wire will likely be dual runs of 0/2 gauge, additional battery in trunk.... 7" fold out head unit, (brand?), upgraded speakers in front doors w/ amp, (brand?)..... wall behind seats, not completly to b pillar though, for ride comfort of partially reclined seat.... sound deadening up front for sure.... 5" gorilla lift kit ..... not sure wheel tire package will change for a while.... 22" likely car will be two toned in primer...…

This is a sealed enclosure for reference purposes. It is 4ft3, made from 3/4" mdf. Started it last night and finished up this afternoon. Definitely louder than the Z15. With 4 12s though, I kinda expected it. Another design on the way...

I took a win this past Sunday! making people wonder who exactly is TEAM IAK lol i blew my sub woofer last week testing for the comp that just past. i deaden my roof and i was able to add some volume to my box and raise my tuning with some help from Shizz. i peaked at 37hz with a 149db and i forgot to turn my gains down when i was done and started to play some music and blew a coil lol. oh well what happens happens i guess I was able to barrow my friends D2 18" mayhem for the show. i was being real conservative with my gains because it was not my sub woofer and i didn't want to recone someone else sub and mine also lol i took first place in DB drag, super street 1-2 class …

I am trying to get the ipod ready for slamology so we all have plenty of music. I am looking for test tones right now but I need reg music that bangs so if anyone has any links or suggestions let me know. Also any one in IAK going to slamology<mikey< who need a cd made let me know lol.

Well we haven't had a real meetup for a while and spring is now here with a new season to be underway... Maybe we should meet up here soon? Get our goals and established with everyone and here everyones new setups. I know they have pretty much all changed since the last time we met up. Just throwin it out there. We liked them quite a bit. this is one i am playing with. it is a blueprint style..... i think i will change the IAK to all white and see how it looks then.... this is the same one, but in a cartoon style...

okay, we need to provide a little bass to go with the fairly nice sounding factory system in the Ford Taurus... not invassive on the car, leaving as much factory as possible, also not taking alot of trunk space.... nothing fancy, just yet, better to come later down the road.... the car is a 2003 Ford Taurus. the subs are two 12" Rockford Fosgate rfd212's, (old school punch series) the sub amp is a Sonus 700.1 , a german made, class D amp.... and some 4 gauge power and ground wire will be ran... the first enclosure will be a 1.25 cube per sub , sealed prefab... okay, thats it for now, but, we all know, just adding some bass to your ride can be rewarding enough until funds…

Hey gents, Chop had approached me a while ago about making a demo track for you guys... I'm always down to take on new projects, and the purpose of this thread is to get some ideas from all of you on how you want this track to turn out. It will most definitely be bass heavy, with a grab bag of frequencies to satisfy any tuning you guys might have. I want it to showcase not just the lows, but the mids and highs as well.
