Was scared for a min my box design or build was off, but the lows are slowly comin in as the sub breaks in. :yahoo:

ight so last night while i was looking over the solo x, i decided i gotta hear this thing. i remembered i still had a box i build for my 2 old zcon 12s chillin in the garage. only thing is it had 2 holes cut out for 2 12s. so after work, i grabbed it and headed over caseys house. we covered one hole up with mdf, glued, screwed and sealed it up nice. looks like shit but it works. we then cut the other hole a little bigger to fit the solo x in. got it hooked up to caseys audiopipe 3k @4 ohm so roughly 1500 watts. the box is 4.7 cubes net and tuned to 32hz. Here is a couple of designs that I did for Avery Newton and his old school Punch HX2's. The one on the left is 14.5ft^3, and the one on the right is 13ft^3...both tuned to 33hz. As you can see the right one has a removable port so he can slap in a spl tuning for burps.

We built another system in the 2001 Isuzu Rodeo 2 Kicker L7 12s on a 1500w amp. Installed 2 Kicker sets DS65.2s on a Crunch 800w amp with a Kicker 3 way crossover and a Pyle flipout DVD/CD stereo.

This is a dual 10" bandpass box for a pair of RF T1 woofers. Each sub is in .75ft^3 sealed, firing into 1ft^3 tuned to 46hz. Dimensions are 34" wide x 17" tall x 17" deep.

Lots of low-end output was the request, so a large ratio box tuned down to 42hz is what we came up with. The subs being used at DC Level 4 18's with Level 5 coils. Power on hand is 8-10k. Vehicle: Chevy Tahoe Sealed Volume: 4.75ft^3 per chamber Ported Volume: 25ft^3 Port Area: 384in^2 Tuning: 42hz
