Ok so here's my story. I want either a single Q 12 or a single BL 12, but i can't decide whether the BL will be loud enough to make up for loss of SQ.

I pretty much only listen to rap, and the sub will be in a 2.25 cube box tuned to 32hz.

I will be powering the sub off of an eD NINe.1 (1200wrms) so i wont be getting any BP option.

the BL looks promising to me, but i have a few questions before i make my decision.

Will the BL lack in the low end?

Will the BL be audibly louder then the Q in this application?

Is "SQ" really an issue when i listen to rap?

I have a 18" bl and everyone drags on how they dont have very good sound quality, but mine sounds amazing it is insanely accurate. I listen to everything and one song that sounds amazing is this calling by all the remains. It has some crazy double bass and it picks every bit of it up. Oh and the sub is crazy ass loud.

The BL does indeed sound like the woofer for you.

The lowend that the Q exceeds in is not apparent in Rap as much as other music. The frequency you like in rap is around 40-55hz.

sounds good. how will it do in a song like Put On by young jeezy? some 27 hz material i hear... thanks for the opinions keep it up!

One more question, when ordering, I should get the P Chamfer option correct? However, i wont need cooling or the Extreme lead. is that right?

remember that im using a NINe.1 to power it (1200rms)

Well i went ahead and ordered the BL with the P Chamfer option. Apparently took Fi less than 1 day to build and the scheduled date of delivery is July 8th. I'm Hyped! thanks for the help!
