  1. Hello, I want to tell you my feeling after changing my sub enclosure. Some people are afraid of going sealed with the Xcons, and want advices. I had a 3.5 ft3 sub box, tuned to 32 Hz. Design was made by Fisher Customs (need the new ones JBL Camry, please). My car is a hatchback car, and I had the sub and port facing up. I loved it, but I could not put a bottle of water (or whatever) in the trunk, and the amps were not breathing right : no room at all. I made a friend (he has an Xcon 15" too) build a sealed box for me : dim are (70 x 40 x 40 cm), so 27.6" x 15.7" x 15.7 ". I think they fit in the ones provided by ssa. I have a lot more room in the trunk and I like that ! I can put some groceries in it, or some tools I had under the seats !!! I have the sub facing the rear of the car , because i put back the hatch cover. Honestly, I was afraid of loosing output, as I'm still a basshead ! I can't say I lost something. The bass still hits so hard . I did not have time to make serious listening sessions, but so far so good. I'm sure it goes lower now, I can feel it easily. I set the ssf to the low, but I think I will try to run it a little higher, like around 20 Hz. What do you think about it ? I will give you more info later, as I get used to it. I will post some pics of the box and the trunk later. Not too much sun today !
  2. You sir have either no soul or sense of humor! Saying fuck 90 times in two minutes may be funny to a 5th grader, but I don't understand how that is possible for an adult.

welcome. why do you want to run so much power to each sub? they are rated half that. we need more information read the noob guidelines for when you really want that question answered Attention NOOBS!!!! - SSA Car Audio Forum for answering questions and the other ones pinned here http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/Newbie-Sign-IN-f11.html have fun, people are great here, and the site is THE BEST. you wont to back to any others!
  4. your trucks ability to move hair and cans are small and unappealing.... you are only insulting yourself with thes minor examples of air pressure......in contrast to you need to show the stupidly ridiculous roof flex to honor it's true potential!!! and without being in it, no one will see the damage done on the ears! try video recording some lip flex.... seriously!!! . i was sitting in the back seat and the choices were to concentrate on the pain in my eardrums or my teeth chattering away... to save the enamel i opened my jaw slightly only to spend the next 5 mouth drying minutes motor boating and blowing rasberries, thinking to myself, i wish this fucking song would end so i can breath right again! i am surprised that the can did not get wedged in the window! and the lil boy probably passed puberty standing there at that window.......!!!!

under box design, you have the internal volume locked. unlock it by clicking on the override vb icon by the dimension box input area. If it still acts funny then you need to lock/unlock different measurements you entered by clicking on the letter to correspond to the measurement you want to unlock or lock.. it's tricky but easy once you get the use of it...

  8. Low voltage more than likely. Have you tried to see how low the voltage drops when the lights flicker ? It would be a good idea to do the big3 upgrade if you haven't done it yet.
  9. So I spoke with Don and we decided to go with 25 CLD tiles and 14 sq ft of 1/8 inch closed cell foam. ( I still have a half roll of eDead I will use too)I really hope this helps the overal noise and the rear deck noise because its sounding like sh!t right now and I dont even want to turn the bass up hah.
  10. Maybe [email protected] would be a good start.
  11. I've calling it "eff-eye". If used from the word "infinetly", it should be pronounced "F-ih", or if saying the word weird "Figh". Infinetly amazing is just a slogan. Fi sounds dumb.
  12. You guys are idiots if you can't pronounce "infinetly" because you don't say "in-fine-aight-lee". I get the most shit from the people here and on the SMD forum so I'm convinced all americans are IDIOTS! Do you really have to bash me because I left out a word? Fuck you!
