  1. Hi everyone! I've been out of "the game" for a little while and figured I'd stop in and say hi and explain why! The red flaps and wheels are a winter setup, don't worry! Car put down 250hp on a Mustang Dyno, which is equivalent to 305hp on a Dyno Jet. 2. im just a fan of 12's i think they sound better. Please tell me you're joking...
  3. I was mearly asking how you knew that is a great SQ headunit, can you tell me which specs scream SQ to you? I am just asking a question like if I ever decide to use my zapco comps and zapco amps what kind a h/u I should look for although at the same time I am not trying to jack the thread just looking for fast tips. If your using a component set then the active processing isn't something you would care for since your component set comes with a passive crossover network. Not sure if TA would beneficial since it would be going to the entire channel. Of course you could use your speakers without their passive crossovers and go active with this unit, would it be a big improvement, I don't know. I think even if you're using a component set, these types of unit deliver WAAAAY better eq options and adjustments. I'd get it even if not going active because I like that control. I'm definitely ordering one when its available. Tax refund and all. Plus some batteries!

  5. Okay... So plans have changed a little bit. Instead of using the three SA-8's which I'm selling HERE. I've decided to sell them and go with a single XCON. I'm still debating a little as to whether or not it will be a 10 or a 12, but that's the direction I'm going to head with it at this point. I've still got a ton of work to do to this thing, but I don't think this change will affect much. Just for fun I drew up a box for the XCON 12 for the Jimmy, thought I'd go ahead and post it up for comments to try to get the build log and the build itself rolling again. Figured I'd do a plexi window on this too, like the van, to show off that sexy ass of the XCON. This box is 2.54cuft NET with 56sqin of port area tuned to ~33hz.
  6. If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!
  7. The 6.4, and I wouldve thought he would have hid the wires and secured the batts
  8. My exact thoughts. Are the rear batteries secured down?
  9. i bet it sounds great...but... for real? tommy mounted your amp like that?

Smoked the lights, side blinkers.. looks ALOT better. Still have alot to do with with back beauty panels. But heres some pics for now. DC 320 XP alt is going to be purchased tomorrow! Roughly 235 at idle!! Did the power, grounds alittle different than I had it. Looks much cleaner. But this is where the amps are going to be mounted with the beauty panels and plexi over amps. It will look real clean when finished. Check that ASS out I recieve my 200 amp solenoids tomorrow.. so wiring them up should take place soon. Also purchased a new antenna, didnt notice how large and ugly mine was.
  11. Learn how to carpet would help.
  12. who would you reccommend? Check out DC Creations, or RAM Designs. Prefabs are usually tuned very high with nowhere near enough port area for the frequency that they are tuned to, or the drivers that are being used. But they sure can carpet alot better than rick!

We don't like PSi around these parts. Probably won't sell here.
