  1. We are very proud to be able to offer this free to our users! This is a feature rich classifieds section, that will now replace the current "thread" type F/S section. Simply click the link at the top of the page, or the icon where the old F/S section was/is. or http://www.soundsolu...um/classifieds/ Once you get there, it's very easy to post your f/s, wanted or trade item, simply click the (+advert) button on the top right of screen. It walks you through it.. SSA Supporter Level 1 & 2 are the only usergroups to get featured ads! (just another perk) Below are a few screen shots of the new system. Please share this topic, or share the classifieds URL with FB or anyone who will listen .
  2. Dark Skin is now installed. It is the same skin we had as the board default a few years back. You can find the theme changer at the bottom left of the page after you reload your page. SSA Deflection. More to come.
  3. That's good enough for a rough estimate. There's a LOT more to it than that, but he's right, you should be just fine with 750 watts on a 105A alternator. In my relatively short experience I've found that most stock electrical systems can handle up to about 1,000 watts without too much trouble. EVERY vehicle and situation is different though so you'll have to watch your voltage and see how it does. You should do a BIG 3 upgrade for good measure to help the stock backbone and be sure you have a good battery too. If your voltage drops badly, then you'll have to look at a solutions to the problem, if not then bump away happily.
  4. You know what helps? Actually typing in sentences! What the hell is a bypass box? Did you mean bandpass?
  5. 1 point
    get the atlas 3000 watts
  6. XS Power Batteries are here !
  7. Mark gets an A+ for the new mods
  8. Just don't forget to set the subsonic and the gain correctly.
  9. Agreed, play them and they will break in over time.
  10. No "break in" needed. After a while of playing the suspension will loosen up and you will get more low end output. Nothing fancy there
  11. Great to hear. We are very excited about the possibilities with it. I started the official intro thread for the classifieds section here...
  12. Here is a great read on a post by M5 on speaker sensitivity on 4 ohm and 8 ohm drivers. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/7413-why-loudspeakers-should-all-be-rated-at-1w1m/page__hl__%2B8ohm+%2Bspeakers__fromsearch__1

  16. lmao, just saying!!!
  17. Yeah I'll be there Saturday Chop. Trying to get everything back together so I can stay in the class I want. Ended up buying some KnuKonceptz 1/0 wire and it made a big difference. Had to end up pulling the Second battery out so just gonna run off the Red Top up front. Blew the Surround apart almost halfway around one sub, but Black RTV Silicone is gonna be my friend till after the Comp..lol. Can't wait to hear the Durango and see them 8's in action. your trunk dont like you!
  18. I have never used anything on the inside of my seams however the tools I use allow me to cut perfectly straight cuts so I never have gaps. If needed I would use liquid nails over caulk. Reason being wood is a porous material and will hold moisture. Caulk being a rubber will not. This will cause the caulk to seperate from the woodunder extremely high humidity conditions. This won't happen with the liquid nails.
