BC 1100.4 PROBLEM FED UP
4 pointsWell Travis is getting a new amp.....that way no mistake can be made, no middle problems if something were to happen in a re-boarding process. It will be an A stock brand new amp, that has been on our bench for a few weeks running every speaker setup under the rainbow, currently a single tower running bridged at 2 ohms both channels. Using all HPF combos, and bandpass too,,,,,we replaced the amp with travis' 1100.4 JUST the same way. After about 3 hours of play time, its gotten fairly warm, as it definitely should be running at 1 ohm a channel, and its working as it should. So we've tried to find the problem, multiple times, the only thing we've seen could be a possible cause was a good sized dent on the heatsink as if it was dropped before. Other then that, hopefully the new 1100.4 recieved works as should, otherwise must be an install problem Thanks for the understanding.4 points

1 pointLol yeah I just don't think he knows why. I get it out and show it to him and yell. I think he just gets so excited that he shits and doesn't even know it. I try to get him to go before but he never does. Oh well for now he is banned s.m.d. style haha1 point- Welcome to the IHoP
1 pointDid I mention that I really dig the miniDSP's? Outside of using a cpu as a processor I pretty much feel they are the best solution. Amusingly I am running my JL component sets active and passive at the same time. HP (duh) and a custom biquad shelf filter to solve the ridiculous imbalance between the tweeter and the mid. Add a few parametric cuts and I have them sounding pretty good. Tough balance between teetering on the hairy edge of output capability and sounding right.1 point- BMF

1 pointBrad, the classifieds section only works when it wants to. We've been letting people post in OT if they can not get the correct system to work. This has been brough up many times and nothing's been done about it, so they really have no other option.1 point- Ordered two Recone kits, didn't get them yet.
Take note future customers. It's not often you find yourselves able to converse with the company owners on any level, let alone have them stop their lives instantly to take care of you.1 point- Ordered two Recone kits, didn't get them yet.
Posted at 10:57, both owners respond within 28 minutes. I'd say that's decent. Glad it got sorted out. So close, but no free pizza.1 point- My new family member
