  1. For the record I remix quite a few songs and I'll post em up here whenever I do a new one. I don't like having zip files with all of them so I typically just upload them all to my kiwi6 account. All the songs I've recently remastered have a bass line that sits right around -5dB, so you may have to adjust your gains to get the most out of them. Here's a link to all my stuff: http://kiwi6.com/folders/wrg8208rg4 And here's a link to all of the songs I've gone through and remastered (I have a LOT to upload...I've remastered 65 songs so far but only have a few uploaded): http://kiwi6.com/folders/oaqnh8ntf0 Just did this one for Julian cause he wanted a remix of this song that wasn't clipped. http://kiwi6.com/file/8maq7sy8y5
  2. You were blinded at one point. "Team Captain Julian"
  3. There is no such thing as "underrated" power handling. People who run more than "rated" wattage to a subwoofer don't realize that they are in fact not. If they were, they would thermally ruin the subwoofer...
  4. It's all in the rating. There is no standard for rating amplifiers, although CEA has come close, but it's still flawed. Technically, they can make that power, but at a frequency the amp will never produce at a load it will never see, yeah, you get the idea.
  5. They will be available shortly, 3" coil 750w woofer. This is 16 of them in the green truck with ~200 watts (if that) a piece. Sorry for the quality of the video, just got the phone that I could make a video with.
  6. The OP asked a question and gets thrown with "garbage/ssa dcon is better"? Come on guys! If I remember correctly the w3's are rated at 500 rms. Like stated above, alot of the time you think your putting 1000 watts to a 300 watt sub but box, vehicle, music being played isnt taken into consideration. Impedance rises and in reality that "300 rms"sub will not take a big ammount more than what its rated at. So you most likely downgraded unless you dropped ohm load on your amp with the Skar's.
  7. 5/5's on deadlifts, bent over rows, hammer curl negatives and concentration curl negatives
  8. Try it. If it can't do it it'll protect before it explodes lol
  9. The enclosure sounds nice, post some pics if you can. The ICON is a great subwoofer.

yeah subs are stupid they do what they are told...... amps are told to do by you.. the user... so if you tell them to kill the subs they will.... if your wise and build the box correctly and adjust your amps and head unit accordingly then you will be just fine
  11. It's actually entirely up to you. Putting sound deadener on the rear doors isn't going to directly affect the sound of the components in the front doors the same way deadening the front doors will. However, depending on the degree to which you're planning on deadening the door it could make a difference in road noise, which can have an affect on the overall noise floor in the vehicle. If all you're planning on doing is putting Dynamat on without any use of closed cell foam (CCF) or mass loaded vinyl (MLV) then there's really no sense at all spending the money on putting the Dynamat CLD on your rear doors IMHO since CLD does nothing to stop noise, only panel resonance. Now if you were planning on utilizing the entire spectrum of products (CLD, CCF, & MLV) then I would definitely recommend deadening the rear doors. That will help stop panels from rattling (CCF does that), and block road noise (MLV does that) as well which helps lower the noise floor and make the entire audio experience that much more enjoyable. Hope this helps.
  12. The main peaks for that In For The Kill remix are 41hz, 33hz, and 55hz. I don't really keep track of what the freq's are of each song but if you guys really want to know I'll write them down when I post up a link.

  15. As some may know already, we signed a lease on a new location that is much larger recently. We have been working hard to move the wood shop over and setup a few offices. It has been exciting and stressful at the same time. We are keeping the current location as an office setup and allowing the other to be more for the wood shop, packaging, shipping, and local installations. We have been still cranking out enclosures and designs, but do to our current situation we have not been taking any photographs. We have just been working hard to get everything straightened out. I do hope to be back in the swing of pictures and such with in a week or two, but ultimately it will depend on getting all the kinks ironed out in our new database system and running all of this from 2 locations. Thanks everyone for the support and helping us get this far. Do look for some sales coming up real soon as well!!
  16. This build turned out great. It started great too. Made me start to put a system back in my work truck.
  17. Gonna be adding a couple more runs of this 2/0 I got. This is stage cable for concerts and is much better than standard welding cable. Its very nice to work with, pinky finger flexible, LOL Here it is next to my Knuconceptz 1/0 OFC Small video of the subs beating my truck up, I think the rear window seal is about toast.
  18. I won't share my college ideas of what good use is
  19. Goto tools > dimensions just to make sure that feature is enabled (there should be a text box in the right hand corner). Grab the circle tool, click where you want your hole to be centered, then type in the radius (in inches) and press enter. Then take the extrude tool and extrude it INTO the wood. Type in 3/4" and hit enter, and it should cut out the circle.
  20. Well the HAT drivers are a complete rip off so run like hell there. If you go 2" you'll probably need a couple of them in a vertical array. 3" has to be on axis. I think you probably could have brightened up the top end on your last install by either cutting the lower freq's and gaining up or at least tapering out the issues. That Peerless has an agressive peak in the response which gives the artificial perception of loudness in the wrong location and needs to be addressed with a notch filter. It would have made tuning it much easier. Having a processor with things like shelf filters and ultra flexibility on equalization could be a huge boon to the installation if you are going to run a full range. It can be pulled off with less, but I have to say I'm now addicted to the flexibility a fully programmable digital solution can offer.

I would never step foot in that shop again.
  22. You sure you're up for such a big setup not knowing how to wire your subs?
  23. When you're constantly looking for new ways to hoard up cash to buy more equipment. When you're coming up with outlandish reasons to tell the wife why you're still getting equipment, and she believes them. When your bedroom closet looks like the store room of a fully stocked local shop packed front to back and floor to ceiling with equipment. When just about everyone you meet calls you the speaker guy. When everyone you talk to asks why they're always hearing thunder before your wife drives up in her mini van. When the owner of the local gas station asks you to be sure to have it turned down before entering the lot because he's afraid you're going to break the windows from the flex he sees them doing. When the employees of the same gas station thank you for knocking a blockage out of the ice machine when you gave someone a demo out front.
