  1. Yeah, let's encourage more laziness and stupidity.
  2. Our long running FB page is getting more traffic, so for those who have not found it yet, check it out here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sound-Solutions-Audio/170860939855 We might post up a special and news on there too.

  4. Oh snap, Zapco AG1000 on german ebay. And I have money to blow. This feels just like the planets have aligned
  5. I look at it as not a product failure. If you measure the amount of success I had with the zcons in the past year vs. The one hiccup. Success still wins. No matter what brand subs I run i will always be Team SSA!
  6. someone has to have the bigger E dick.......

  12. Bottom bank of batteries all wired up and ready to roll. That jumper wire in the middle is what I'm using for speaker wire. Just as a size reference.
  13. 1 point
You may need some sound deadener man...lol... nice vid though
  14. started drinking around 9:00 this morning... Still haven't stopped.. SO... Much... Guinness... Fly off tomorrow to Qatar.
  15. Do not put a regular battery inside the vehicle with you. You need a AGM for the rear. Its not recommended to mix battery types (agm / non agm) like mentioned. But if you insist on doing so put the AGM in the rear.
  16. Special edition NO-E by Fi......LOL Whatever it ends up being, I'm looking foward to seeing the results bro
  17. The return of the Funky Pup !!
  18. i think theres been some very subtle clues already given.
  19. Serious Motha Z's and Serious Motha P's, Just a shot in the dark! lol
  20. Sure Rick. Nothing has changed with the front stage.....yet (other than tuning). The mids and tweets will be a-pillar mounted soon. Oh cool I misread and thought that you already had them in the pillars. Either way it still looks great.
  21. Not to feed a troll or mis-direct the topic, but wasn't Dominic Iraggi working on some crazy SPL install with a huge load of 6.5" drivers a couple of years back?
  22. Type R's are terrible fixed
  23. Type R's are terrible in sealed enclosures
  24. It's time for a lifestyle change! Rick 2.0 coming soon!
  25. extremely funny at 2:10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5jI92Ht99Y
  26. I'm dumbfounded. Can't believe that you think your setup is even acceptable, more or less listenable. Obviously you do otherwise you wouldn't have posted this. Have you ever actually listened to a "real" stereo or just the FL style yikes-so stuff? I have listened to a lot of "real" shit. Lmao. Sq comp vehicles, SPL comp vehicles, et. Etc. I didn't say it was listenable or I would enjoy it. It was nearly a answer to his question. My option would work in his case i believe, I don't think he was really serious nor really was I. Did you only come in here to troll? If someone was running 48 mids how would you power them? Or are you too good to even let your mind comprehend such madness? People have different goals and listening preferences, his may be to demo to a whole city block. I don't care nor should you.
  27. Photoshopped butt if It's the same chick ? I MUCH MUCH prefer the bottom. Amen.
  28. XS, Odyssey, Juicebox and Batcap have practically the highest PHCA on the planet. So, in terms of cranking.. they are the best. In terms of heat, i run a D1200 under the hood and have for a year now. You want to know why batts swell under other scenarios like that? Because people are using aftermarket regulators that are charging above 14.4v. I have a chart here which shows what voltage AGM batts should be charged at a given temperature and obviously the engine bay is hot so it needs the least amount of voltage. You should use OEM regulators even on high output alternators to prevent overcharging.
  29. Serious guess, Custom Steve Mead ZCON's by SSA... Or multiple ZCON 12's something similar to the SSA Mustang .. Since day 1 i've been following this build, just doesn't get much better than Chevy's and Big Bass. I'm sure most of us are feeling like little kids before christmas lol and regardless of what these mystery subs are, those of us who can only dream of building something of this caliber will continue to enjoy the excitement of living through you and your build as well as others.
  30. None of them handle anything worth a damn other than their own agenda, or in Obama's case, the puppeteer's agenda.
  31. Photoshopped butt if It's the same chick ?
  32. Because its different and not what other people would like or want. Some people like a clam shell with 15 12's. some people like a shit ton of highs. I personally don't see the difference. They are both on the extreme side of the spectrum boardering on insane. But it's what people like and enjoy. Who are we to say its just plain dumb. If it keeps the industry thriving and keeps people entertained then I'm all for it even though it might not be what I'd personally do for myself.
  33. Nice!! Look forward to seeing it. I like those amps, great for the money!
  34. Stop eating popcorn, and get to work! He's waiting on me to have some free time from work and school before going ham on the truck. i'm waiting to be blown away by your build man. haha, can't wait
  35. Ok, so heres my advice, based on your resonse. If you are competitive as you say you are, and you're trying to compete with you're local friends with 2 15's and such, with only 1 12", I would up the budget now. You've stated that, you want to upgrade you're system, and I have this strange itch you are going to want to upgrade again. All that said, I would purchase a xcon. Just save up an additional paycheck or so, to do so. Patience is extremely vital in the Car Audio scene that many over look. Once you order the xcon, it would take up to 4-5 weeks to receive, which can be a good thing. What this would do, is allow you time to resource more funds, to spend on enclosure and other necessities for you're build. One thing many newer people don't realize, is that it cost money, to be loud. For me, the extra few bucks here and there are well worth the wait and savings, you get this accomplishment feeling, which again, to me, feels better than to say, "yes, its finally here". If that makes sense. Once you have all needed things, just go from there, take it one step at a step, and build you're way up. If you feel the xcon is too long to wait for saving up, then get the Icon, it has been recently revised, and I have videos of it playing in my explorer. I can give you a in detail review of it if you'd like. Either way, if you change you're mindset a little, such as being loud as YOU can be, vs being louder than you're friends, maybe things would turn out better than you had ever imagined
  36. If it has internal fuses it is a v1.
