  5. oh, and some times people say they want 2 12's because thats what they are used to seeing in every ones shit box, keep in mind, its always fun to run a single sub like a 15 and yeild louder results then people with 2 12's same idea behind my chicks car, we run a single SSA icon on 500 watts way under powered, but after she runs the lane, every one always ask..whats in there... always shocked.

The High Pass crossover doubles as a subsonic filter as it is able to respond down to 10Hz. LEVIATHAN Is well suited to running a multitude of different systems from simple 4 satellite/sub woofer type to tri and quad amped systems. Level controls accommodate input levels up to 8.6v RMS. Pre-amplifiers utilize a fully isolated power supply for zero ground loops. Pre-amplifiers drive the main amplifiers in a fully balanced mode. Class D amplifiers utilize high-speed high current low gate charge MOSFETs. Fully regulated power supply delivers power independent of battery voltage. There are a total of seventeen regulated power supplies. The power supply utilizes twelve 110 amp MOSFETs in a source follower configuration for maximum bandwidth. Low ESR 105°C capacitors are used in the power supply. Very high efficiency owing to the smart power supply. Tiffany RCA's with Teflon inserts are used for ultimate quality and reliability. 7. Hi, So last spring I bought a 1993 Nissan 300zx that was converted to twin turbo. Only to find out the next day that the engine was about to go because of Sh** work the shop did (splicing 2 wiring harnesses together with crimps, looping. deleting oil cooler, installing the wrong rad and had the hood hit it and crack the top. Anyways as I am only 19 years old and this isnt my only vehicle and I have to buy all the stuff myself as my parents taught me to save for what I want and dont hand me money. So far I finally found a good JDM engine, bought it and brought it to a shop to get it all done as I dont have a hoist or enough knowledge to do a swap in that insanely cramped engine bay. Thought I would post a couple pics as stuff is getting done and then later make a small build log when I save up for putting a small sound system in it probably 2 10's with one in each corner of the hatch leaving room for T-tops. Anyways here it is, Has a lightweight flywheel, stage 2 racing clutch, K&N cai, Dual 3inch exhaust with electric cut-outs, and chipped ecu, should be putting out around 350-400 at the crank or around 300rwhp. will get it dynoed when done. . Parts so far. Still waiting on New Wiring Harness and short shifter. And heres a 300zx the shop has built from stock. Its making 585hp at the wheels and has the same body kit as my car.
  8. You won't be disappointed with any of those recommendations
  9. Damn cake decorators don't listen. J
  10. Work has been crazy busy which is good. Refinanced the house to 3.25% so that is wicked good. On my 6th month of probation which sucks but its cruising by, another 6-12 months to go. Family is doing great. Daughter turned 16 last week and I'm installing a 15" dcon in her Lexus tomorrow. As always you guys give me inspiration and motivation with installs!!
  11. In a good enclosure it would sound excellent.
  12. upload them to Imgur.com (very simple) and attach the BB/Forum code into here.
  13. who cares? Its for a sub if the distortion or power rating were off by even 20% you wouldn't audibly notice anyways. As for your CEA comment later that is useless as well. Stupid standard written to shut up uninformed buyers. Just by something reputable and be happy.
  14. I'm running 650 RMS to each of my XCONs, and I love them.
  15. Yes. TBH, anything in the SSA Store is pretty high quality, anything you purchase their will please you. Just stay in your budget and you'll be happy.
  16. it doesn't "need" a big amp. it'll leave you room to upgrade in the future when you have your electrical up to par. have you ever heard that song "Mr. Brownstone" by Guns-n-roses? thats the way car audio is. "i use to do a little, but a little wouldn't do it so a little got more and more". you'll always want bigger
  17. Check out the SSA store. Those are some great subs there. Also crescendo has great amps too. I love mine!
  18. you wont go wrong with fi subs very underrated subs well built and awesome subs similar to ssa subs with only difference in my opinion that that fi subs can be used in a bit smaller enclosures than ssa subs. but like ricksi30 said ssa subs are awesome to i have a 12" dcon and im happy with that way better then my 2010 model 2 12" kicker cvrs i had on my impala
  19. Excellent experiences with SSA in the past.
  20. The lpf is fine at 150 if you like your sub playing frequencies that high. I usually set mine at ~80. What kind of space do you have available? The only good thing about the DD1 is that it seems to have a good resale value.
