  1. You may need more electrical, but not more power. Don't confuse what it can take with what it needs. I look forward to hearing, especially in a few weeks when it gets good and broke in.
  2. BHE is at it again, this time bigger than ever before. Expecting great things from this build. Got some other stuff to post up as well.
  3. That in the left corner is texture soaked in resin. I hope it's all worth it at the end porting them.

  5. So far I'm pretty exicted and pleased. Its definately a different sound than before. The lower notes are for sure a lot more pronounce, and I feel it needs more power. The higher notes don't seem as "punchy" as the zcon did. Everything is much more smoother now. I definately have to do some more tuning. Things left to do is to finish the cosmetics of the box, and install the 2nd false floor. Also need to grab some more wire so that I can reposisiton the amps and such. But yeah, I for sure for sure need to step up my electrical now. It is seriously taking all that I can give to it. I have a few ideas in my head.
  6. We are proud to announce that we have teamed up with Fisher Customs to bring this company back from the grave. We will have 9 total designs that are hand built to order, users choice of carpet and highlight color, lead time will be 2-3 weeks at the current moment. They should be ready to order on the SSA store shortly. Here are a few images of the single 12" enclosure. Prices are now posted here: http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/categories/enclosures/hand-made-enclosures.html As the enclosures are built and shipped to me, I will add real product photos. Stay tuned.
  7. Here you go guys let me know what you think! What is Google Sketchup? Sketchup is a free 3d modeling program that is made by Google. It is used around the world for its ease of use and accurate function. Where do I get it? Right here: http://sketchup.google.com/download/ Download the basic version. What is the advantage? You can basically "build" your box before you make a single cut! Get an idea what it will look like, even lay out all the boards to make sure you get the most use out of a sheet! How do I use it? Watch my video below! If there is any additional information or questions please let me know!

  17. The evil has been ordered, now the wait will get the best of me.
  18. Thanks Kyle! Yeah for sure it is.The 200x4 boss amp then the 340x6 zed amp. The zed amp blew off one of the center cone thingy and rip the surround on another. But both most likely my fault lol. Hell, they kept playing and I didn't noticed till I replaced them. The Boss and Zed don't put out that power at 4 ohms. Swift that box looks badass, I think we have a new box builder on the site. You wanna build me one next? Thanks man, I appreciate the compliments. I stay so busy with my business that its hard to find a good time for builds, sometimes I work 12 hour days, 6am to 6pm then come home and work on a build till midnight. But when your ready let me know and we'll see whats going on. I have to spread them out, ya know. lol I didnt even really see my wife and kids this weekend, but his box is done and it turned out great so I hope he enjoy's it.
  19. 115 so far Can you update CA.com and CA-F? Done
  20. And this is a good thing how? OP, please disregard this useless information and never run your amp below 9 volts. Smh
  21. All that shows is your intelligence.... And that your lucky
  22. From the information I'm coming up with it looks like the 2 x 175wrms @ 4 ohms and 2 x 260wrms @ 2 ohms is correct and for the most part believable, at least much more so than the 1,000 watts x 2 and 2,000 watts x 1 bridged. I've also found most descriptions to include mentioning 60 amps of fusing, which by the look of the few pictures I can find would be a pair of 30 amp fuses. Your buddy is going to have to come to grips with reality and understand that he's not running at any form of optimal. He needs to build a good ported enclosure for his Type R and find a good amp that will give it in the neighborhood of it's rated RMS power. He'll be blown away by doing those two things and it shouldn't cost him a great deal by finding a decent used amp or a fair new one like a Hifonics or Audiopipe at about 1000 or 1200wrms rating to get the right power at 2 ohms.
  23. I was so confused when i drove past this yesterday
  24. Its finished! Box designed by JWH Enclosures and built by Swift Videos to follow soon.
  25. Lost 6.2 pounds in the last week! Ohhh yeah and that's after "losing" 2 pounds in one day before my "official" weigh in.
  26. WTF did happen ? not expecting an answer .... but that is what a lot of people (like me) are going to think

  28. Sports involve athletic talent. This is a hobby, not a sport. No athletics involved. Hell, sometimes, no talent is needed.
  29. Don t use metric.. I used 38-24 on all my custom blocks. What the fuck is 38-24? You mean 3/8"-24?
  30. Ugggggh the suspense!!! Gonna have a closet by time this thing is put together!

  34. Alright well everything is still running good.... switched the cd player and now the amp turns on everytime.... had a bad remote wire on the other cd player not sure what caused it... after doing a shirt trick i would like to see everyone that thinks they get hit the lows do one /> i love how well the car is taking all the abuse as well.... the car is barely flexing and its doing high 50s..... the windshield is taking the power like a champ too... the only part that needs to be fixed is the roof...it broke one of the metal beams going across it in the inside.. Its weird the windshield flexes more on notes higher than 33hz, yet it moves more air on notes lower than 33hz lol
  35. thanks guys and ya now i wish i would of got some wire that was atleast flexible.... got a lil vid to but its uploading...
  36. finally got some work done on it today... got the lugs soldered on: All taped up stinger fan for the amp... got all the wires hooked up on the batts: also got the top back on the batt box but didnt get any pics cause it was dark by the time i got finished... still need to polish up the inputs, hook up all the wires into the inputs, hook up the fan, hook up amp, and hope it pounds louder than before lol..
  37. Here is a follow up video showing how to create more intricate Kerf geometry.
  38. si mag. now its all about superguass. lol jk
